This is the worst company out there. When my order came the fabric was cheap & see through. I asked for a refund which they wouldn’t give unless I sent pics. I sent pics of the horrible fabric & see through material. They decided I needed a $12 refund not the $112 I spent. Not a legitimate company. DON’T ORDER. FAKE & ILLEGITIMATE.

I bought Ruffle Hem Slit Floral Print Maxi Cami Dress and it doesn't look like the picture AT ALL. The fabric is cheap and not even the same color as the picture. They will not let me return for a refund, customer service is a joke.

Do not use this site. They will not refund you at all. Made me take a picture to show all three dresses i bought were too small cause sizing is so off. Then still would not exchange or refund. Said the postage us too much. So obviously coming from China…they woukd inly refund me 19$all together for all 3 dresses… terrible!!

I ordered a dress for a wedding 2 weeks before the date. When I got an email a week later saying they were still putting my order together and will let me know when it's shipped, I wrote back to cancel it because I didnt think I would get it on time. Initially they told me they couldn't because it "might " have shipped. I told them their own email said it wasn't and to refund please. After going back and forth, they told me to be patient for my refund. 5 days later, the day of my wedding they sent me an email saying it shipped. Ughh. I responded that this was supposed to be refunded, NOT shipped. They responded they would offer 10% off my next order. I would never recommend this company and obviously would never order from them again

Do not order from Margovil. I went back and forth with customer service because the item I ordered took several weeks to even ship, contrary to what their website claims. When it finally shipped, it never arrived and was supposedly returned to sender for an unknown reason (my address was verified and correct). I, obviously, requested a refund for the item that never arrived. Eventually their "customer service" team stopped responding at all, even though they initially promised a refund. So scammy, avoid at all cost.

POOR quality and POOR customer service.. They will ask for pictures in order to return an item but only offer you pennies on the dollar for your item as a partial refund. This place CHEATS you out of your money!!! STAY AWAY!!

I have had the same experience with this company as the other reviewers have discussed. The quality of the product is poor and one of the dresses I received does not look the one online. They did not fit properly and when attempting to return the items they would not let me unless I took pictures. I did this and then they still only would give me back $10-$13 and was told to give to someone else that they might fit. This has been a very frustrating experience and I do not recommend this company or their products. Stay away.

Margovil AKA Shanghai Mingshang Clothing & Apparel Co. is a total SCAM! I ordered XL size for all items but they were all too small. When I wanted to return the items because they don’t fit, they wanted me to send them photos of me wearing the clothes, which is absolutely creepy in my opinion. They keep stalling. I just want to return the items and get a full refund but they say that I cannot return the items to the address where the package return address was sent from the envelope. They still have not sent me the address where to return the items but have said that it is not cost effective because it is in China. Avoid this company at all costs!!

Same as everyone else. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! RETURN POLICY IS A LIE......THEY WON'T RETURN ITEMS. Also offered me $28 on a $140 order. I had to send pictures of everything not fitting (humiliating) and they still wouldn't return them. DON'T DO IT!

Customer service is terrible, they only offer a short return window (1 week) and stall you out so you get frustrated and give up trying. I ordered over $400 in clothing. Some dresses were too small and wouldn't zip, they require you send photos of each item with you in the clothes that do not fit so my whole top is out and then they offered me $28 to keep the items. Insane. Avoid if possible.

Margovil is a fraud company operating out of China - margovil.com They will send you clothing with extremely bad quality and ask you to return to china at your own cost or refund you $10 to keep the clothing. DO NOT fall for their beautiful dresses ad on instagram.

Took forever to arrive. I didn’t like the way it looked on me. Requested return information. Was told to take a picture of myself in it. Sent picture and they come back and tell me they’ll give me six dollars refund. WTH!

The worst customer service I have ever seen. They won’t let me return my $79 dress and offered me $7. They won’t give me a return address. NEVER BUY FROM THEM.

I never leave reviews, but I felt the need to warn others. I ordered a dress from here and not only did it take forever to come in, but I was also scammed. I did not feel the dress was flattering on my body. I followed the return instructions and asked for a refund. Was told to send pictures of the ill fitting dress and then was told that they could not give me a refund. When I said that I will be contacting someone about this issue they said “sorry about that. If you want to return it,you need to pay shipping fee for returning which takes too much.We don’t recommend that you do this for the customer’s consideration.” Absolutely ridiculous. I have nothing to do with this dress now and want my money back.

DO NOT under any circumstances order from this shady company. I paid for expedited shipping ($50). Not only did they not ship my items in time, they didn’t use the service I paid for. When I wanted to return the items because they don’t fit, they wanted me to send them photos of me wearing the clothes, which is absolutely creepy in my opinion. They have also changed the name of the business twice on my PayPal transactions, so there are no telling how many of these shady clothing companies they have going. Lesson learned. I’ll just eat the $100 I spent and know better next time.

Don’t buy anything from this site! They are horrible!! The dress I ordered was too small and they told me I had to take a photo in it to prove it was too small. They would not issue a return address or information for return. Buyers beware!!!

It's not even about the money - it's about deception, poor customer service and lack of company ethic. I ordered a white dress on June 13. I received it July 24th with no communication from the company to expect such a long delivery time. By the time it arrived, I no longer needed it. Regardless, the dress was absolute garbage. Cheap knock off, fabric was of poor quality and see-through. The waist hem looked like it was done by a middle school home economics student and simply put, looked nothing like the photo. Made a claim to customer service, with an initial response to send photos. Did so as requested - radio silence. Followed up, no response. Followed up again... and was offered a $5 refund as a "gesture of goodwill". which was laughable. Went ahead and am disputing it through my bank, but sure wish I had done more research on the company before purchasing. Went to make a review on their website of the dress and it was never published.

Please the merchandise is being shipped from Shanghai China the material is of very poor quality and if you don’t size it up it’s not going to fit and lastly it will cost you to send it back.

UPDATE: After they confirmed the items were delivered now they said: "Upon reviewing your order, we noticed that one of the three items was not shipped due to being out of stock. We will process a refund for this item within two business days". So above it all, they shipped and incomplete order!

WARNING: Do NOT order from this company — it’s a scam disguised as a boutique.

I ordered three dresses on July 7th and paid for expedited shipping (3–5 business days) because I needed them for an upcoming international trip. They went completely silent for over a week. When they finally responded, they casually informed me that only ONE dress was ready—a week later—and the others weren’t even available.

I immediately requested to cancel the entire order, not once, but several times. They ignored my requests and claimed it was “too late,” despite the items still not being shipped.

They then shipped the single item weeks later, on July 30th, even though I had clearly communicated that I would be out of the country by that time. They knowingly sent the item to an address where I couldn’t receive it.

Now, they’re demanding that I return it within 7 days, knowing I’m out of the country, and that return shipping costs $20–$40 — for a single dress that THEY delayed, that I never wanted, and that they refused to cancel.

This company is dishonest, completely unprofessional, and predatory in how it treats customers. They:

Ignore cancellation requests

Ship late and incomplete orders

Refuse refunds

Stick you with outrageous return costs

Refuse accountability at every turn

I’ve filed a formal dispute with my credit card provider, and I strongly encourage others to stay far away from this store. You’ll be throwing your money away.

There are too many legitimate, customer-focused brands out there. This is NOT one of them.

Avoid at all costs.
