Broccoli White Sprouting 'Burbank' Avis

British-Bred for Outstanding Winter Harvests The first British-bred F1 hybrid white sprouting broccoli Large, succulent creamy-white spears Mild, delicate flavour Harvests from late winter into spring Strong, vigorous and highly productive plants White Sprouting Broccoli 'Burbank' was developed as the first British-bred F1 hybrid white sprouting broccoli, combining vigorous growth with excellent reliability and generous yields. Hardy plants establish through autumn and winter before producing large, succulent creamy-white spears topped with tight florets that resemble miniature cauliflower heads. Its tender texture and mild, delicate flavour make it ideal for steaming, roasting, stir-fries and seasonal dishes. Harvest the central spear first to encourage plenty of smaller side shoots, providing a succession of delicious homegrown crops over several weeks. Strong, vigorous plants produce generous yields of uniform, high-quality spears, making 'Burbank' a rewarding choice for vegetable gardens, raised beds and allotments, with plenty to harvest from late winter into spring.
