Nepeta 'Walkers Low' Avis

Soft lavender-blue flowers loved by bees and butterflies Long flowering period from late spring through summer Low-growing, spreading habit ideal for borders and paths Drought tolerant and very easy to grow Nepeta ‘Walker’s Low’ is a classic garden perennial, valued for its clouds of soft lavender-blue flowers held above aromatic grey-green foliage. Flowering generously from late spring and often repeating through summer, it brings a relaxed, cottage-garden feel to borders. This low-growing, spreading variety is perfect for edging paths, softening the front of borders or spilling gently around roses and shrubs. Its lightly scented foliage is unappealing to pests, while the nectar-rich flowers are a magnet for bees and pollinators. Exceptionally easy to grow, ‘Walker’s Low’ thrives in full sun and free-draining soil, coping well with dry conditions once established. Simply trim back after flowering to encourage fresh growth and repeat blooms.
