We use Royal Mail Track 24 for all our deliveries but on this occasion they took 3 days.
We will be asking Royal Mail for an explanation.
Easy to order, quick to deliver

Delivery was a bit later than expected…
Delivery was a bit later than expected & the packaging/box wasn’t good at all (pretty open one end). Having said that, the items were well wrapped within & all present & correct. Would still use again if needed

charging cables
went into maxi deals in the Calamba centre Barnsley to purchase charging cable for my iPhone 13 price ticket stated 99p. went to till to pay charged me 1.69 queried price with assistant she came and took all the prices of the 99p cables and said it should have been changed the night before then walked off. you can not charge a higher price for old stock. only new so be aware wen you shop there you are not buying old stock at prices they want to rip you off for will never visit that store ever again. Just received reply from company saying it was on wrong peg. Wat a load of rubbish. Every cable was priced at 99p. Shop assistant. Pulled at least 8 different price tags off. Nearly all there cables were the same price. I should know has I had bought one before the week earlier

We sincerely apologise for the poor customer service you received in our Barnsley store.
After investigating it was discovered that a single product had been put on the wrong peg. The item was from a different peg clearly marked with the correct price.
We have gone through this with the store manager and reminded staff to watch out for items being placed on the wrong peg to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention and once again we would like apologise for the mistake and really hope it doesn’t put you off visiting us again in the future.

Bizarre encounter over my age
I visited a local maxi deals and picked up 2 silver photo frames. They are very nice and good value for money.
My issue came when I went to the till.
The lady behind the counter looked me up and down, as if she was appraising me and said " Under 60 I would say".
Baffled as to why someone serving me would possibly think it was ok to attempt to guess my age, I said " Why would you say that?".
She then tapped her finger on a leaflet near the counter, which I'd never noticed, which had 10% off for over 60s written on it!!
As I was only spending £3 I was shocked, that this interaction was even taking place.
I would imagine if anyone is attempting to obtain a 10% discount for being over 60 they will be the one who should broach the subject.
I know Iceland have 10% off for over 60s on a tuesday, and I'm sure their Staff don't spend all day judging customers ages every tuesday.
This was quite an unwelcome and baffling experience. It would make me think twice of going back in store, which is a shame because prices and quality are good.
