The worst I’m have the worst experience with this bank

Mazuma is amazing. I literally bank almost every day. Everyone is always friendly and fast . Thanks Jonathan for always taking the time to say hi , even if you are not doing my transaction.

Man I must say, Mario b from the Overland Park branch is the best! He’s always helpful and understanding. I’ve been having issues for a while and he has always been by mystify every step of the way to get my issue resolved! Thank you mario for all you do and continue for mazuma! Thank you thank you thank you!

Unresponsive, and no work whatsoever done in the last 5 months, while they keep charging me monthly. Software is confusing and does not work well, the people stated to be my liaisons are not, and I have to go through hoops and loops to get in contact with the right people. I have talked to three different tax experts and I still don't have a plan for my taxes coming next year. I would not recommend to anyone.

SCAM!!!! Please don't sign up for the subscription service as many people have stated! They are great communicating with you prior the subscription starts and when you want to cancel it!! Other than that it is a waist of time and money!!

An absolute joke of a service.

In my first 2 weeks they missed 2 scheduled calls, their bank synchronization never worked, the ''schedule a call with a bookkeeper button'' never worked. Their receipt and document uploader would randomly not upload certain documents. Customer service is a joke.

AN ABSOLUTE MESSSSSSS. Trust me avoid at all costs. You will end up with more headache. Better to burn your money than give it to them

They are total crooks and they use scams to charge you for insurance even tho you show them over and over you have insurance. My agent notified them 4 times and they said they didn’t have it. So they are threatening to attach over $3000 to my loan

This is fu.ck.ing liars full of nothing but sc.um.bags extortionists, racists meager hungry thieves, preping docs to send to my lawyer because i see they have much money to lose. Playing with small businesses and trying to break them is their business plan.

Absolutely terrible service. From start to whatever now is I have had nothing but trouble. Impossible to get in touch with my "bookkeeper". Any time you want to talk with someone it is a random member on chat. do not be fooled this is not a personalized service. You might as well do the bookkeeping and taxes yourself. been with them since March because all I wanted done was taxes and backed bookkeeping but months later, we still have not finished any of it. This subscription complete waste of my hard-earned money.

I opened my small business with Inc File in 2022 and made the mistake of accepting Mazuma USA for my accountant services. It's May 2023 and I don't have my taxes done nor for my company or my personal taxes! Mazuma's live chat is useless, since the operators don't commit with giving me a date. It's a shame! Mazuma is punctual only for charging, but doesn't get the job done.

Mazuma is a sneaky company that is trapping people in their subscription model. If you were recommended Mazuma by IncFile, please reach out to "support @ incfile.com" and ask them to STOP partnering with Mazuma. My taxes are still incomplete and they filed an extension without my consent. When I asked why, I was told they have thousands of clients to complete and my documents were only submitted 2 weeks before the deadline. How is it my fault that they are so greedy that they are taking on more clients than they can handle? Also, if they need the documents sooner in order to get the taxes done on time, they need to ask for them sooner! It is a simple matter of communication!

Do not deal with this company. They will take your money and do nothing in return. When I complained they cancelled my account.

The first year, 2021, seemed to go smooth. Hence the 2nd star. Them handling my books took all the stress off my shoulders, and I went to their website every week to check on status and business purchases that needed to be categorized and it was going great, but then in June 2022, It all stopped despite still having deposits into my business account. In short, I didn't learn how much I really made until I finally received my 1099s this year. 6 months late! Needless to say, that does NOT make for good planning.

I was extremely quick to get them all the documents they needed to complete my taxes by early FEB. It's Apr 8th today, and still NOTHING. All I get from them is the run classic around & buck passing. Once they do finally finish, I'll be looking for another service provider. Which is a whole different issue.
I would not recommend that you put yourself in the situation that I am in with Mazuma now by hiring them. Nothing but STRESS.

I had a short free business tax consultation. Gene Blanco made to add card information to activate the free dashboard (that's how they get you to subscribe to their free trial). I asked 2 times to make sure I'm not buying anything, he assured me that I'm not. The next day I went into my account and saw that he subscribed for a free trial and my next payment of $95 will be charged in 30 days! I never wanted nor agreed to anything. They kept calling to offer a free consultation. This is not how business should operate.

Horrible service, unprofessional customer services. Waste of money and time. Just try to bully you into accepting their useless services. Save your time and money and hire a professional tax service that actually cares for its customers.

I do not think that the level of service offered by Mazuma is a good value for the monthly subscription price.
Although it bills itself as providing support for small business bookkeeping and tax preparation, all of the responsibility is on the business owner to understand their tax situation.
My books are routinely incorrect or not up to date when I log in, and the problem was not corrected unless I initiate chats with agents. When I need to speak to someone on the phone to resolve larger issues, I am often quoted times 3+ weeks in the future to receive real support.
I do not recommend this company unless you are a very small, new business with extremely simple tax needs. For any complexity whatsoever, Mazuma will not provide the support that you need.

I love the reminders when I am falling behind on submitting documents. Working full time & having a business...I tend to forget a lot of things. Their team helps keep me organized so there's more time for me to help my clients.
