How I wish we’d read these reviews first. Ordered a McDonald’s on the app from the newly refurbished Lea Road, Wolverhampton branch last night. Daughter received two phone calls from the Uber driver asking for directions. After tracking him my daughter could see he was nowhere near our road and had gone elsewhere. She phoned Uber who said he had followed guidelines and they couldn’t refund her the £17.15 charge because he had delivered but couldn’t make contact. He most definitely hadn’t turned up and the delivery option was to be left outside because she was poorly. Spoke to multiple people myself this morning on the Uber number and basically feel like they are accusing us of being liars and now out of pocket and very determined never to use them ever again. Disgusting treatment.

Several items missing and one item incorrect. MCdonalds blame the delivery service used, they blame McDonald's, so ultimately nobody wants to take responsibility and address the issue and we're left short of money and food.
Absolutely disgusting service and given how many other people experience issues you'd hope they would sort the issue.

Just had my 1st Mcdelivery
Just had my 1st Mcdelivery. Length of wait was accurate. Car delivery details were wrong, wrap as good but fries were luke warm and extra sweet chilli sauce that I ordered and paid and was listed on the bags sticker for was missing.

I ordered food through McDelivery it was a Saturday night and I expected it to be busy. It took an hour and twenty minutes to arrive and it was stone cold. I understand it's busy but I didn't expect the food to be freezing cold. It would appear they made the food when I made the order and left it there for an hour till it was picked up. With the prices they charge for the food and the delivery I'm disgusted that I had to spend time reheating all the food in the microwave. You should be ashamed.
Shockingly awful service
Delivered the wrong order so had to go and fetch it myself. Driver left my order sitting in the counter.
Tried to contact them for a refund of my delivery charge and they were completely useless. Refused to refund.

Do not order from Mcdelivery!!! Food arrived after 3hours when it advised it would take 45mins. Hard as a brick and freezing cold, inedible and went in the bin. £35 worth of food!
Mcdelivery promised a refund within 15days, 4week later and all I'm left with is no money back and a headache. They refuse to send emails confirming refunded, when they do "send" an email it's not received. Refuse to let me speak to a manager and constantly fob me off.
They direct you to McDonald's, but McDonald's won't help as you ordered Mcdelivery (through their app!!!!) they just pass you around the houses not taking any accountability. How are we in 2024 where a company can't email, send receipts, issue a refund, and have basic customer service. For a global company this is mind blowing!
I honestly wouldn't wish dealing with Mcdelivery on my worst nightmare.

Food arrived stone cold. What should have been a 5 min drive turned into 30 mins as the driver picked up other orders!!! Called Uber and said my food was stone cold. He said 30 mins is perfectly reasonable and that was it?! End of conversation. The fact my food was inedible was irrelevant!!!

If I could put no stars I would!! Between uber eats and mc Donald's app in for the retail park in St albans UK, every single order is wrong, cold or thrown together!! Uber customer services will never refund even if you got an ice cold meal LITERALLY not even leuke warm.
It's a shame the mc app won't allow me to choose the mc Donald's 10 minutes the other way in london colney.

The result is I’m over £20 down on cold food for the kids and I’ve ordered an Indian as they are hungry.

Same as all the other reviews ordered 25pounds worth of food.. followed the guy on the app he had one other Dodd drop to do then next second ours had said DELIVERED.. but was clearly not..!! Ended up walking to the McDonald’s restaurant as my son is type 1 diabetic and they were NO HELP in the slightest I had to order and pay for more McDonald’s food..! McDelivery or McCrookery? Dishonesty will be your downfall
I ordered for the first time yesterday as we were at work and had very little time to sort something to eat, I ordered through the mcdonald's website and it's told that the delivery would be in 15 minutes. The front door was wide open and we were moving things around the front door so was never out of earshot.
It gets to 25 minutes and we are wondering whether delivery is so I go back to the website and it said it's been delivered, I try to find some information on it and I can't find anything that tells me where my order is, so I try speaking to the virtual assistant chat bot, which was absolutely useless. It did not understand what I was trying to say and rather than putting me through to somebody that would help it just kept putting me back to the beginning.
I find a number for uber eats who apparently deliver this, I called expecting to just either get told where my delivery was, that there was some kind of mix up or get a redelivery.
I call and I'm left on hold a number of times and I'm getting frustrated because the whole idea of this was that it was the save time, I explained to the person on the phone that I can't just be waiting on the phone, they did not offer to call me back they just kept me on hold.
When they finally came back to me they told me that they were enabled to give me a redelivery or a refund, when I questioned this they said that they had proof of delivery. When I asked what proof of delivery they did not answer me initially, but later on they explained that they apparently had a photo, but they would not describe this photo at all. They also said that the driver had tried to contact me twice but I had not received any calls.
I asked him to send this proof of delivery and they have said that they are not able to, and that I have to take it back to the mcdonald's chat bot.
Feeling very frustrated I walked the length and breadth of the industrial estate I work on, to see if anybody else had taken delivery. No other places on the road were open apart from a self-storage place.
My phone the local mcdonald's that would have delivered this and they told me that uber eats are the people that should be dealing with this, yet we ordered through the mcdonald's website so our "contract" is with mcdonalds, placing me in a position of perpetual run around.
Something that was supposed to be saving us time had me messing around for over an hour with no resolution.
Absolutely do not recommend, I feel that I've been had by crooks, and I do not expect to be in this position when ordering from a company like mcdonald's. And for that I'm absolutely astounded!

Would never use again. Ordered and no food arrived, spent 10 days going between Mcdonalds and Uber eats both parties just kept repeating that it was the others responsibility, so have essentially had my money stolen without even an apology.

Ordered via McDonald’s App and no delivery arrived, advised that Uber Eats where the delivery company and to contact them , over one and a half hours to get through to be told that the delivery was attempted as the driver was in the car for nine minutes outside in the street, and that text and phone calls had been made ( no texts no phone calls ) no body came to the premises and knocked the door we have cctv on the premises and on checking a car pulled up in the street for approximately one and a half minutes and drove away without anyone getting out of the car , even with this information I have been told by Uber Eats that no refund will be made, I have been robbed,
Beware Using McDelivery Takes Away Your Customer Right
Obviously McDonalds is currently in the news for more severe abuse, but I simply do not understand how the McDelivery app is a legal thing within the UK. It has to be close to one of the biggest abuses of customer rights that advertises freely under such a recognised brand.
School's out for summer so the kids ask for McDonalds. You place an order and the order is missing half the items and the stuff that does arrive looks like its been stored at the bottom of a rucksack for six months trekking across the Australian outback.
In the UK customers are supposed to have the ability to raise issues with any order easily. Here's where McDonald's and the McDelivery service take away those rights. You got a problem so you'd contact McDonalds right? No, Despite carrying the McDonalds name and logos and giving customers the express and misleading impression that it is McDonalds, they say it's the responsibility of there delivery company - in this case Uber Eats. Bare in mind I could have ordered direct through Uber eats, but was convinced by the "WE ARE MCDONALDS" livery on the McDelivery app.
The concept that an ordered solely picked and so brutally packed by McDonalds staff being wrong is somehow the fault of a delivery company is a odd concept, but that is clearly a risk Uber accepts.
So McDonalds direct you to Uber, but Uber have no record of that order because you placed it (as directed by McDonalds) through the app that says McDonalds and not Uber. This means that the only way you can contact Uber is by phone. You contact Uber via a 24/7 phone line not realising that the 24/7 refers to your wait time rather than the availability of customer services. Over an hour of listening to the most abysmally distorted hold music that is probably a breach of the human rights convention and seems to only exist to deter you from waiting in the line for... Well more of the same. No-one ever answers.
Over two hours and haven't fed the kids so a credit card dispute appears to be the only way to access your basic customer rights with McDonalds's delivery app. Genuinely some of the emails I receive telling me I've inherited $45 million from a wealthy widow seem less shady that the McDelivery setup.
Mcdelivery was missing a few items
Mcdelivery was missing a few items, the bags were sealed, phoned the uber driver who was very friendly and stated he delivered what he was given so I need to contact the store. I am not going to waste any more time, that's life, you take a chance with online food orders, 90% of McDelivery is fine, really annoyed they deliver several before me when I paid for a taxi. A recent delivery by cycle was the hottest ever! How complicated can it be to have a warming device in the car boot, another example of McLacking customer service.
