recently purchased the MediAlarm247 personal SOS alarm for my elderly mother, and it has been a game-changer. The device was incredibly easy to set up, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. 

What truly sets MediAlarm247 apart is their outstanding customer service. From the moment we placed the order, the team was attentive and responsive, ensuring that we had all the information we needed. 

The SOS button provides both my mother and our family with a sense of security, knowing that help is just a button press away. The fall detection feature adds an extra layer of safety, which is invaluable.

Saleswoman pressurised my mother into…

Saleswoman pressurised my mother into signing up and giving over her bank details. Mum tried to object and said she wanted to discuss with us first but the woman just spoke over her. Afterwards mum very upset. Said she felt quite scared. I’m absolutely disgusted that a firm purporting to provide support for elderly, vulnerable people would employ such tactics. Also curious as to how they obtained her details right after she had been referred by our local care services for a care line. Local authorities have confirmed they do not work with this company.

Rest assured, we conduct regular compliance checks to ensure our agents follow the correct process. If we have any reason to believe a customer may have an illness or be vulnerable, our team asks multiple questions to confirm they are happy with the product and making the decision themselves.

Our process typically takes around five weeks from initial contact through to the exchange of goods and payment. During this time, we send several letters, along with direct debit instructions. This ensures transparency and helps us safeguard vulnerable customers.

dodgy Direct Debit

This company sets up direct debits for people with dementia and who do not have full access to their bank account details - not very legal I think.

We’re sorry to read your concerns and want to be clear, we would never knowingly set up a Direct Debit for someone without their full understanding and agreement, and certainly not for a person who does not have the capacity to give informed consent.

We conduct regular compliance checks to ensure our agents follow the correct process. If we have any reason to believe a customer may have an illness or be vulnerable, our team asks multiple questions to confirm they are happy with the product and making the decision themselves.

Our process typically takes around five weeks from initial contact through to the exchange of goods and payment. During this time, we send several letters, along with direct debit instructions. This ensures transparency and helps us safeguard vulnerable customers.

If a Direct Debit has been set up and the customer wishes to cancel, the Direct Debit Guarantee ensures they can receive a full refund immediately. Our lines are open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and if we miss a call, we will always call back promptly.
