The delivery came a day earlier than expected, so I wasn't home when it turned up, but the delivery driver phoned me and we talked through where to drop it, and he done it without having any problems.... Voir plus

Delivery
they are not serious, on the website they show you that there is free delivery in certain areas, and then they call you to tell you that it actually costs £40 delivery....the most horrible experience, I do not recommend...

We always appreciate feedback but in this case we think this is a little unfair and melodramatic!
We try to make our delivery zones as clear as possible with maps and details at the basket and checkout pages as well as our delivery page. We're sorry that unfortunately your order was a good way outside of our free delivery zone and indeed just outside of our normal paid delivery zone. We made a polite phone call to make you aware that you could pay a delivery charge on this occasion or cancel the order for a full refund.
In this case we don't feel we could do any more.
Calling it "the most horrible experience" though? We'll just put that down as a bit of a histrionic outburst which we will forgive.
We are sorry though that you were upset about the order not going as expected and hope you managed to source the sand more locally.

Ordered half a ton of gravel
Ordered half a ton of gravel, paid for it and chose a delivery date - only to be told on the day of delivery my address was too far away. Surely this should have been made clear at the time of purchasing?

Please accept our apologies for your inconvenience. Unfortunately you are in Hereford well outside of our normal delivery zone. We do try to make our delivery zones clear on our checkout and delivery information pages to prevent this but sometimes we appreciate you may not always see our delivery maps. Of course we would aim to tell someone in your situation that the order won't be coming and issue a full refund as soon as possible but on this occassion your order got missed for processing which we're sorry about and we didn't inform you until you were expecting your delivery.
We are always looking at ways to improve our ordering process and your feedback is appreciated.

Fence experience
This is the second time I have ordered fencing etc and both times they were delivered promptly. The delivery men were lovely and very helpful. No complaints at all.

We're sorry that the product wasn't up to the expected quality. Timber is a natural product and sometimes this can slip through the quality control net but if we have a chance to swap it out we will. After reaching out to you we know you were under time constraints to use the material but we hope to see you again soon.
Excellent Customer Service
This company has a good list of stock but it’s their excellent customer service that marks them out from their competition.
Always helpful, friendly and flexible they will do whatever they can to meet the required delivery schedule with excellent communication throughout. Special mention for the delivery drivers who are always really polite , cheerful and helpful.
