I had an issue trying to add my beneficiaries and after contacting Mercer they were able to advise me how to do it using 'apple' products and to log in using chrome instead of safari. All worked great... Voir plus

My worst performing company pension scheme
This is a company pension scheme therefore selected for me. It’s the only one of my drawdown pensions that is currently losing money. I tried to use the online chat, but like other reviewers, the app disconnected me a few times. I gave it a two star rating and they very kindly arranged a follow-up phone conversation, pointed me to the funds that I had a choice of investing in and said they hoped things are better. However, it remains the worst performing fund that I have.

Safari / Chrome log in

Pension transfer cherry picker
Several years ago I transferred my pension (part crystallised) to another employers pension. On asking to rejoin after a change of employment back to original. I'm told not possible!

Can't connect to own accounts
Primary function of this app is to collect and present financial info from elsewhere. It is often slow to reconnect or refresh connections with some external accounts, and no connection is possible to some accounts which are run by the same enterprise.

In the main I love Mercer Money.
In the main I love Mercer Money.
But I do have a lot of account disconnections. I do then have inability to reconnect so have to archive them and start again, losing my history in the process. Additionally, I have the need to contact helpdesk 'a lot' to keep the account running. It seems to be getting worse, not better. I do hope it's something the company can get a grip on. Otherwise - I love this app....!

I had no problems accessing my pension…
I had no problems accessing my pension pot. when I had prob with the site, the web chat person, was so helpful in fixing it. the follow up call I had about accessing pension was great. Speedy emails, all done very quickly. Unlike Lifesight, whove messed about from beginning to end. still waiting to hear from them.

The rock bottom benchmark
I have a workplace pension invested with Scottish Widows but managed by Mercer Master Trust and it's been a nightmare from start to finish and I wish my employer had chosen anyone else.
The app is awful in the sense that are too many parts to it. On a daily basis I'm asked to verify transaction categories that I don't understand, it's a clunky interface, and I can't actually manage my pension in it, I need to go to Scottish Widows for that.
The worst part for me, is that I'm trying to transfer out of it into my current workplace pension and they've been impossible to deal with. I've completed and signed forms that ask the same thing over and over again yet I haven't made any progress at all. I'm a data protection advisor, so I understand the need to ensure privacy is protected and that fraud isn't taking place, but the steps taken have been so inefficient it's almost as if it's deliberately difficult to discourage me from moving my money.
2 stars because the investments haven't performed badly.
This is a benchmark that all managed workplace pensions should use to do better than.

Company pension scheme,poor so not really choice. The App is terrible and the chat to an advisor ( chat it) is absolutely terrible as well. Take so long to reply to anything and when you get emails it’s oh we’re sorry but who gives a toss attitude.

App has excellent functionality
The App has excellent functionality to capture all your financial information, regardless if it’s held directly with Mercer. I use the app frequently to track pension and other product performance. It has suffered from some connection availability issues, however this isn’t in Mercer’s direct control. Any issues have been responded to very efficiently by their Customer Success team (big thanks to Stephen). Would certainly recommend.
