My account is set up on autopay. Every month and every month this place tries to take the entire charge. The 2135 instead of the minimum amount due and has caused me to have hundreds of dollars in insufficient fund charges on my bank and insufficient fund charges with them. I don't know what's going on with this company. I don't know if they're just trying to get money out of us. Or what but I'm done with? I've had to call 3 months in a row
And instead of charging me the minimum payment, they're putting the whole credit card debt in my account.For twenty one fifty one or whatever it is, i'm sick of it

What's Up with these BS Credit Card Companies???!!?? How is it any time you dispute theri default is to side with the Merchant every time!!?? With not a shred of evidence except you did business with them. Again another shady mechanic did some Subpar Shotty and Questionable Work, that they wanted FULL payment for. When the Work isn't fully done or done so Subpar that you have yo have the EXACT SAME WORK completed by someone else. You painstakingly get Estimates for the work needed and the Cost for said work. Send it to these CLOWNS at Mercury and without notice, NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO LETTER, NOTHING...They side with the Merchant!!???!! When initially contacted about it a Manager for this Shady A Outfit says, "Hmmm there's something strange about this dispute. One day it was approved and the very next day denied with not much information." I say yeah the shotty work was done by an Outfit that is "Connected"(read into it what you will) it is very strange that it was approved then a day later reversed. The Manager Guy says I am going to take this up with higher ups. Call back today to get word that the "Higher Ups" said No to reinitiating the dispute and the charge sticks....which is the BIGGEST CROCK OF SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA I HAVE EVER SEEN..... THE COMPANY DID NOT DO WHAT THEY WANTED TO BE PAID IN FULL FOR..... and what they did do was SUBPAR AT BEST, and The Company I chose is forcing me to pay for a Service I NEVER RECEIVED...I AM STILL NOT ABLE TO UTILIZE WHAT THIS ENTITY WAS PAID TO REPAIR........ and The Credit Card Company I do business with sided with a merchant they are not in any type of fiduciary relationship with...So I will be getting rid of this SORRY A Company Mercury and will Steer Anyone that asks well away from a company that puts it's Client LAST... If you are new to Mercury cards (less than 6 months) "DO NOT" change/update any information or the fraud department will place a hold on the card without notifying you. I called customer service (F) to notified them of a phone number change. After verifying who I was and answering all information asked including questions which only I would know. The customer service rep stated all information was verified and I could use my card, FALSE!! Upon trying to use my card, it was declined. I called and spoke to customer service rep and a supervisor of the fraud department again verifying all questions asked and was told my card was on hold in the fraud department because of a change of phone number. It was related upon the fraud department verifying the change in phone number, the hold would be lifted in 7-10 business days due to the account being a new account. I was told since the code could not be verified which was sent to the old number (although I stated the old number) it was nothing they could do until it was investigated. What is a disappointment about the situation, is how is the fraud department going to investigate if the change is fraudulent? By sending another code to the old number without success or contacting me with me providing the same exact information given to the rep and supervisor. Since the fraud department believes there's fraud ongoing with the account, why didn't they contact me at the time it "APPEARED" fraudulent instead of being embarrassed upon being declined at the time of purchase. Calling and verifying all information asked by the rep and supervisor was worthless in trying to release the hold on my account. It doesn't pay to be honest!! Please don't change anything on your account with Mercury, it's not worth the hassle. If Mercury can't contact you so be it.

I haven't even used it, but I've been trying to close it for 2 months now. the first time I paid a fee and asked if I had paid everything and closed the card and they told me that I had. after almost two months there is some interest of $1.50 so now I paid that too and she told me again that everything was cleared and that it was closed. since they lied once, I believe they will again. I will never take this card again

They have held my payment since March 17 2026. Then, my statement does not reflect the the payment (3100), charged me interest on the whole amount and then easy pay pulled out their version of a payment 2 weeks early. Do not trust these people or this card.
Unethical and Potentially Fraudulent Company
This has been, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a financial institution. My credit is excellent. My credit card was originally issued by another company. Since First Bank and Trust took over the account, it has been a complete nightmare. My interest rate jumped from 13% to 36%, even though we have never been late with a payment. We had an $8,700 credit limit and, in February 2026, paid the account off in full.
However, the company did not recognize our payment because it was made from our home equity line of credit. They held the check and did not cash it, saying they had to investigate to confirm we were the rightful owners of the account. To avoid a late payment, we made a minimum payment. The company eventually accepted the payment in full, but then locked our account, claiming it was due to fraudulent activity. The payment was made on February 2, 2026.
Since then, I have been unable to access the mobile app, website, or even get through the phone system. Every time I call, I am transferred to a representative who apologizes and says they are investigating activity on the account. I am repeatedly told that the hold on my account will be released within 7 days, but this has been the case since February 6, 2026. We cannot even close the account while the fraud hold is in place. To be clear, there were never any fraudulent charges—just our payment in full, which inexplicably triggered a fraud investigation. We owe nothing on this card, have an $8,700 credit limit, but can’t use it or even close it. This has been a nightmare for almost 2 full months now. BE AWARE!!!
Given these circumstances, I am filing a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. I am also considering contacting the Attorney General. In my opinion, this company's actions are unethical and potentially fraudulent.
Paid my dues every month
Paid my dues every month, went to use my card again and it was over the limit because they decided to charge an annual fee of 150$ and raised my interest rate as well. Called, told them I'd never sign up for a card with an annual fee or the exhortbante rate of 33 or 36% fee that they also raised. Said I'm not paying that, go back to my original terms and I'll pay as usual. Customer service from India or wherever I couldn't even understand half of their dialect. So..they call 4 or 5 times a day. Every day. Relentless. This has been going on for over 2 montha. I went online and decided to take a settlement. Now after reading all these other comments of similar situations, I'm going to, as we all of should report this to the Ccc, bbb.
Unprofessional and Stonewalling
This was a great card until I paid my final balance. What this means is that the card was closed, I paid my balance in full and then was told by their App that I had a minimum payment due. When I called a representative said, well you will have to wait for our system to update in 30 days. When I asked to be connected to a supervisor, they refused. When I explained that I wanted confirmation from a second party, they refused. Normally, this would have all of the hallmarks of a scam. Stay away!!!

Bait and switch
The company offer me a card with no annual fee and high credit limit. I been with this company 3 years never been late always paid 3x the minimum amount due. I had 3 other credit cards that my usage went up a little. I have not been late on any of those cards. I get a letter from this company they rise my interest rate and added a annual fee because of my usage on my other cards . Nothing to do with them . They just penalize me for it , making it harder for me to pay them off. It is like they will try to trap you. I paid them off in 4 months completely then they reduced my credit amount. Do not get this card they pry on the needy and people who are trying to improve their life situation and then do a bait and switch on you. This is the worse credit card company I have ever used and ,if you close your account it will lower your credit score some they put you in a bad situation. I will close my account anyway and will ride it out. I only gave them a one star , because the customer service are pretty decent, I am sure they don't make the decision for this company.

****WARNING*** Dear Fellow Neighbors/Consumers,
I would like to take this time to share my experiences with Mercury Credit Card Services, in hopes to help others that may have, or will go through similar experiences that I am going through. I had received a refund from a merchant in the amount of $3508.17, Instead of crediting that amount back to my credit card, Mercury over charged my credit card for that amount, which then put the card over the limit, accumulating higher interest, and fees. Today is Saturday, March 21st 2026, I have been calling Mercury card services since 12/19/2025, in the attempt to resolve this issue, to no avail. Customer service, Dispute dept, and supervisors, all have not been supportive, or helpful. Infact they all seemed unaware and in denial of the refund, even after I submitted several documents that support my concerns, claims, and shows the refund amount that was submitted back to the credit by the merchant. They still refuse to acknowledge the refund, and continue to keep the $3508.17 as a charge to the credit card rather a refund/ credit on my behalf. Now my credit with them, sets at a higher monthly minimum payment, with higher fees, and interests charges. Be very carful when dealing with this credit card company. After doing some investigations, and research, it seems that this company has a history of similar activities such as this in the attempt to scam consumers/ customers out of money. Do your research, I wish I did before putting my financial trust in Mercury Credit Card Services. If you unfortunately find yourself in this situation as I have, PLEASE do not try to take on this big corporation alone get help, reach out to the Department of Consumers Affairs, or the FDIC for help. *******WARNING******

I do NOT recommend this card. High interest and when I had a dispute they were useless. Months of phone calls and faxes and they would ask me for nonsensical proof that even the reps didn't understand. I will NEVER use this card again.
Don't waste your time with the Mercury credit card
Let me tell you I had got the information from Experian advising me that I was pre-approved for the Mercury credit card I had applied they gave me a $2,750 credit limit which is fine I received the card and I downloaded the app and I went on to activate the card it gave me some error I received the letter also in the mail that same day when I received the card about supplying documents to the company which was very odd and crazy if you approved me why do I need to supply my driver's license a bill and Social Security card which is fine I uploaded it to upload Mercury card.com and I call the customer service number they advised me it takes 7 to 10 business days for them to give you an answer I said what in the world type of card is this that you don't give an available credit on the card after activate I turned around and told them don't worry cancel the card I don't want the card no more I've never experienced this before and I will not experience it or deal with it so I suggest the people don't waste your time don't apply because Mercury credit card is on some bull crap playing games with consumer

Worse card ever ! They will target you if in need , 3.5 years never late payment then , $150 annual fee from 0, rate raised to 36% !.. This should be Criminal you will never get out of it if your low on funds. You run the card up lowers your credit so you will be stuck , stars lined up I was able to get 18% rate balance transfer , happiest day ever cause I was close to just not paying it out of principle , I’m finally Zero balance card holder and will cancel card at my convenience, never to use this company again , STAY AWAY!

I was approved for a $2500 limit card. The card arrived activated it and was declined on the first purchase when on line in showed $2500 available. I called and they said I needed to send a drivers license color copy. Utility bill, Phone bill, and ss card copy. All for my protection. Mean while I have 15 other cards and never did this before. Were is this information going?? Why don't they say this before they waste your time. Predator bank.
