I purchased two bookshelves from Mhastar on Cazaar, and I am deeply disappointed. The shelves arrived with white paint stains on the sides and dark brown paint on the front, making them look absolutely terrible. We paid £200 for both, and as a "gesture of goodwill," we were offered a mere £15 refund—what a joke! Avoid this seller at all costs; it's a waste of time and money.

Giving these guys one star is beyond me, but it’s the only way I can put my report on. I purchased a car for my grandson and it won’t smash me for the first few months. Then the charge on the battery seems to have gone. We put it while the vehicle is still in warranty, but the range just as bad as this company didn’t do anything about it. In fact they didn’t even respond to our emails. When they did. They said they would pass it over to these guys? Who then said tough is out of warranty now.

I wouldn't give them 1 star!

I have just spoken with Faryal at MH Star. Her customer service is utterly appalling. The bistro table I ordered is damaged. It has dents and scratches on the pillar and table top. The table top also has rust on it.

I requested a full refund. Faryal kept saying "partial refund". I clearly stated a full refund is required and will be given. She then said I would have to deal with the disposal of the bistro table!

She kept talking over me too, and trying to make out she couldn't find my order! I advised her I would be contacting Wilko about MH Star and their appalling customer service and to ensure I receive a full refund.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MH STAR. EVER!

Worst seller ever

I ordered two Halloween decorations from MHstar through Wowcher on 2/11/24. I redeemed the voucher and paid the shipping costs which then confirmed the order was being processed. On 4/11/24, MHstar Team advised the order could not be fulfilled, and that a refund would take some 7 days to reach my account. Disappointing they take your money for goods plus shipping immediately despite not having the stock and then it takes 7 days to get your money back.

I am shocked this company has such bad reviews. Ive bought items that they sell from Amazon , Ebay and Temu. Its always fast delivery and items delivered, good quality and as advertised.

I had an issue with one of my pawhut cat wall sets where it was missing a part. They promptly replied to my emails and sorted the issue out. Offering to collect the item for a refund or 25% off for the trouble.

All the staff I have spoke to have been helpful & friendly.

I have no issue following their stores , especially on ebay because they sell lots of pet furniture, cat trees, beds etc at refurbished price . Which has always been perfect too.

ordered a electric ride on car for the grandsons xmas and got the best deal through ordering from the range,once it was ordered i notice it would be coming from mhstar so had i look at their reviews and was really worried when i read them so thinking the worse i looked elsewhere incase the order fell through.3 days after the order i was imformed the car was on its way and would be delivered by amazon ,and 2 days later the car arrived so what more can i say but thanks very much for the best deal and speedy delivery,cant fault them for that,well done mhstar

Do not use this company they are total waste of time
I was gifted a new lift and raise chair
Rang them for a new remote gave them all the numbers off the hand book that told me they was waiting for stock to come in but would not supply because I did not have the order number
Even after I explained that the person who brought it as a gift for me had passed away so now the chair is scrap
And now to add to this I got a email on 15/10/24 to say they do not supply the part
But yesterday the guy told me that they was waiting for them to come in but I would need the order number which I had explained why I don’t have
This company should not be allowed to trade in the uk

Saw previous reviews and was worried I wouldn't get my order. To my delight I received my parcel exactly on time, having plenty of updates on where my order was and what time it was to be delivered. 5/5 to the company

Please be careful about buying from Wowcher I received 2 chairs on the 9/9/24 I spoke with mh-star this morning. I told them that the reason I got the chair, and all he kept saying I would need to pay for the chair to be retuned please be careful if you are ordering from any where please ask 1st who is delivering if it’s mh-star. Beware

Bad company don't buy from these on amazon items don't arrive and refuse refund

Ordered a glass top patio table from B&Q but apparently this item comes from M H Star uk …. The box arrived within 2 days very good but it was far too heavy for a one man lift…. When we came to open it bits of glass were falling out the bottom of the box … we contacted B&Q who put us on to M H Star uk who as yet not contacted us …. I think B&Q should think again about using this company … Not a happy Bunny ….

I ordered an item on the Saturday attempted to cancel the item on Monday, no reply attempted again Tuesday, no reply. Item dispatched Wednesday, the courier company required a signature which they did not obtain but still left the delivery in back garden with the gate open (the house is on a main road). I complained to MH star they want to charge me £50 to collect the item! The courier service are telling me to contact the supplier I’m going round in circles with no resolution! Will NEVER order again!!

Ordered a item from these crooks from the range marketplace, never again please do not order from hear as if u wish to return the parcel then you have no hope honestly this is the worst company I've ever dealt with

Order an item from this company then read the reviews and thought what have I done, but my item was shipped and delivered within 3 days, amazing price and amazing service, tracking provided, loads of poor reviews but my experience was second to none.

Delivered items via Amazon then history of delivery completely disappeared was not what I had ordered and could not return without paying outrages return fees which was more than the discounted purchase. All I can say they reduced prices as they are going out of business and don’t need the hassle of returned products.
Also disappointed with Amazon who completely removed this company from the list of my orders

It is apparent from other reviews that some have not had the best of experiences. My own however was positive. After a product failure, I received similar responses to others offering either ‘new parts’ or a ‘partial refund’ but did not feel able to accept this. After requesting either a replacement or a full refund, a new replacement was received. I was also told to keep the faulty item for spares.
Rightly or wrongly, it does seem that the company operates an initial process of negotiation in their dealings concerning faulty items prior to agreeing to any settlement. I must also say that my communications with various members of their staff were courteous, and eventually positive.
