I had a delivery scheduled in February, but the date kept changing, which ultimately resulted in both my house and annexe running out of oil. An elderly man living in the annexe was left without heating for a week in the middle of winter. The oil was ordered in good time and should not have been allowed to run out if deliveries had been made as advised. As a result, I had to pay a plumber to purge both heating systems.
After significant disruption and stress, they eventually arranged emergency fuel through a third party, but this only came after the situation had already become serious.

More recently I had to pay someone to wait at my house for two days, as someone needed to be present to accept the delivery. They also took approximately £700 with a promise of delivery within 10 days. I arranged for someone to be present, but they failed to turn up—no call and no notice. The following day, I was again assured delivery would take place, but once more they did not arrive. Both occasions they had called me the day prior and text to say delivery was due next day. When I contacted them, they were unable to provide any new delivery date.

At that point, I cancelled the order as I could not risk running out again and sourced oil elsewhere at a cheaper price.
Upon cancelling the order, I was not refunded immediately and was told it could take 5+ days for the refund to be processed.

Avoid at all costs.

In terms of your refund, we do process these straight away on our side once an order is cancelled. However, it can take a few working days for the banks to return the funds, which is unfortunately outside of our control.

Had a great experiance with the depot

Had a great experiance with the depot, we had been away and the tank had nearly ran out and they pulled out all the stops and moved some things around for me and got me my fuel

So sad after being with this company…

So sad after being with this company for 25 years we have decided to leave after ordering and paying on line for the oil
Delivery was not made on the day when it was requested nor any contact from the company.
After calling to chase delivery over 3 days was given a different reason and even being told I couldn’t have spoken to someone as there was no one there, even though in one call I was given the driver’s name
Asked to speak to the manager was told he was engaged but would call me but no phone call, in desperation I felt I had no choice but to cancel the order with a full refund and go elsewhere as I was being told different reasons as to why we hadn’t received the order also no communication from the company when the delivery would be
I am awaiting a reply from an email I sent but feel there will no reply after this week’s event from the company
Not been the same since they have changed ownership

A complete lack of respect to my property!

I was told my oil would be delivered Friday afternoon.
We were away Friday afternoon so i explained I would leave the gates open from 12:00 noon. They made delivery early morning by climbing over a wall passing the pipe through a hedge! They made no attempt to call to check. I called to complain and was told a manager would call me but guess what no call! A total lack of respect after a 30 years of being a loyal customer. I have video footage from cameras.

Two strikes - so far.

As a premium customer, the system for monitoring the tank level, and replenishing in good time, has failed me twice, most recently in February 2023.
I have pursued refills when I could see this coming, only to be reassured that there was sufficient until the planned refill. There was not, and the company will not entertain the costs of having the system bled (by Ford Fuels) following an outage.
My most recent refill has been uneventful, but I did chase it in ample time (again) to prevent another outage.

Friendly efficient service

The driver was very friendly, efficient and helpful. I would use Midland Fuel again as a result of this experience.
The delivery was five days early and luckily I was in and able to ensure access. Prior notification of an early due date will help in future.
