I’ve tried the rest and now found the best no chargeable extras and very reasonably priced Stuart and Kevin explained everything regarding Blossom on pick up and the attention to detail on the interior bedding etc was fantastic we had a wonderful hassle free trip round the NC500 and and will be hiring again and would recommend them to my friends they are not only Miles Away they are also Miles Ahead

From start to finish, Miles Away Campers have been amazing! Kevin and Stuart answered every question that we had. You can tell that they are both very passionate about the industry.

We hired out their new motorhome Blossom and what a beauty she was! The interior was gorgeous and finished to a very high standard. Very reliable vehicle for a long road trip. They provided everything you needed for being on the road (camping chairs, camping stove, bedding on each bed, kettle, kitchen essentials etc) the list goes on! These extras are on top of a fully functioning kitchen and bathroom that you have in the van! The little extras such as WiFi, dvds & fire stick for the TV etc were also just brilliant.

We searched just about every company around Scotland and Miles Away Campers were the highest rated and if you book with them, you will not be disappointed.

My partner & I have just returned from a lovely bank holiday weekend in Iris, which we were able to take our wee dog along in as well. We visited Fort Willian, Arisaig and Glencoe. It was a lovely to drive, very smooth and it was great being able to stop off where we liked with all that we needed right there in the campervan.

We had been looking to hire a campervan for a while but had always put it off as we were apprehensive as we had never hired one before and when looking into it there always seemed so many extras to consider. However we saw an advert on social media for Miles Away Campers and on contacting them we were put at ease straight away. I used the chat option via the Website and they were very quick to respond and very pleasant when doing so, even going the extra mile to advise about campsites along the way etc.

When picking up Iris there was a warm welcome waiting and we were shown every detail of the van, with a handy manual too incase we needed to look back once on the road.

There has been alot of effort put into the amenities available - from the mini fridge, gas hob, kettle, cutlery and even personal touches such as complimentary drinks/snacks to the box for outdoor cooking in the better weather. It was also nice to be provided with clean, fresh bedding which made it feel more cosy rather than having to take sleeping bags. Being able to settle down in the evening and watch a DVD was also an added bonus.

I can't wait to plan another trip and we will certainly be hiring from Miles Away Campers again 🚍. Already recommending to friends 😀

Honestly so thankful I found Miles Away Campers! I've rented from them twice now and both have been two of the best weeks of my life.
The vans are clean and easy to drive. The bed is simple to put up and down, sink and stove easily accessible, bedding always clean and smells fresh!

The owners Stuart and Kevin are great people who will help you in any way that they can to make sure you have a great experience!

I ran into other campers on the road that asked me if I might know how to fill their water tank because whoever they rented from had not shown them how... that will NOT happen with Miles Away. They explain everything in great detail and if you have any questions while on the road they answer in a timely manner!

We cannot recommend this service enough! My partner and I rented Daisy because we were attending a wedding in the Scottish Borders and it was such an amazing way to spend a weekend. Daisy might seem small but it’s got so much space inside. The bed is super comfy (in fact it was the best sleep I had in ages), plus there’s so many great features like the sink, hob and plenty of plug sockets (which made it easier to get ready for the wedding). My partner (the driver) particularly liked the automatic controls and the other features you can make use of while driving. All in all it was a great wee experience and Kevin was super helpful and kind getting it sorted for us. We will definitely be using Miles Away Campers again when we go on our next adventure.

Me and my wife hired the camper for a few days break in the highlands and it was amazing .the camper itself was very reliable and simple to drive it was also spotlessly clean.right from the inquiry to the handover the service we received was very professional.Kevin was very helpful and informative as to how everything worked.I would recommend milesawaycampers to anyone and I will no doubt in the near future hire again.

We’re recently back from a trip in Clover doing the NC500. We had the most amazing experience with Miles Away. Clover was a dream, spotless, and the perfect size for us 2 adults and our dog Mac. Collecting the van was super easy and Kevin showed us how to use the infotainment, popping up the roof, and where all equipment was kept.

We’re now looking forward for booking many trips with Miles Away in the future😁🤞🏼

Myself and my brother hired clover for the weekend to silverstone for the moto gp. These vans are brilliant absolute everything you need. It drove down and back an absolute dream. It had everything we needed on board from cooking facilities to television. Kevin was very helpful by showing me everything in the van before we set off so we were comfortable using it ourselves. I will be definitely hiring again.

My partner & I hired Iris for 3 days, with our little dog, for trip upto Glen Coe via beautiful Scottish Lochs & scenery.

We were somewhat apprehensive as we have never hired a campervan before, but were put at ease straight away. When picking up our keys we were warmly welcomed by Kevin, who took the time to show us every detail of the van, with a handy manual too. Great communication from the owners from initial booking - nothing was a bother and no question left unanswered.

The drive was smooth, with an easy to use gear box & Bluetooth adaptations for our phones. We had the luxury option of pulling up on the side of the road with a cuppa to take in the views as we wished, and set off again no bother. A hassle free trip. Handing the keys back again we were met with a welcome smile.

I can't wait to see Miles Away Campers grow and develop as a business, and we will certainly be hiring again 🚍⛰️👌

Would highly recommend this - we took a spontaneous last minute booking on Daisy and had the best time exploring so many parts of the stunning West Coast of Scotland (from Glen Etive to Applecross and Torridon) stopping in so many beautiful spots for pics, food, refreshments and overnight camping. The campervan was spotless and so well equipped with everything we needed including very comfy matresses, bedding, crockery and cooking utensils, fridge and table and chairs for eating outdoors. Its size meant it was easy and comfortable for me to drive, the inside was a great size too and the pop up roof created lots of additonal space! The booking was made effortless by the owners and all done within about 20 mins of my initial enquiry to their FB post! Thanks so much to Miles Away Campers!🚙❤️

These campers are absolutely superb! We took Iris for 3 days and visited the west coast. It was our first time in a camper and Iris seemed quite luxurious compared to many of the old VW vans we've seen advertised. Very comfortable. Very clean. Everything you could possible need such as chairs and tables to sit outside were provided and I particularly liked the complimentary beer and Prosecco provided - and of course we are able to chill them to perfection in the onboard fridge. At night we slept well on the fold out bed with mattress topper, duvet and comfy pillows. And in the morning we had no issues with sunlight as there is decent blockout curtains throughout the camper. It's a very comfortable drive and easy with the automatic gear box. I can't recommend this company enough. We will definitely hire from here again! Service with a smile guaranteed!! I recently hired a campervan from Miles Away Campers for a 3 night trip. The van was brilliant, had everything you need for a trip, and was spotless - even though it’s dog friendly there wasn’t a dog hair in sight (until my dog got in anyway!) Stuart that runs the company was so helpful answering my many, many questions and the van was sitting, shining in the sun ready for us to collect. He was also really flexible about pick up and drop off times which helped us out a lot.

We stayed in Iris, 2 adults and a Labrador. Tbh it was a bit of a squeeze, however there is the pop up roof which becomes a single bed (or fits 2 wee kids) which they can provide extra bedding for. So if you have a larger dog, take the extra bedding and someone can sleep in there if it’s too snug. They are also looking into adding on a awning too which would be perfect!

Very professional, helpful and friendly family run business. If you’re thinking of a trip, I’d 100% recommend these guys!

My partner and I hired Daisy at the beginning of July. From start to finish the whole experience was superb. Kevin and his Dad Stuart were top class. From the intial and clear communication, excellent service right through to the immaculate and comfortable camper. I can't fault anything. We slept great and enjoy all the facilities. In my opinion Kevin and Stuart truelly care about offering the best experience possible and for me and my partner thats exactly what we got.
I would highly recommend anyone to Milesaway Campers and hope to hire again soon.

We had a great experience hiring a campervan from Miles Away. Booking was really easy on their website. I also called with a couple of questions, Stuart was so friendly and knowledgeable. Stuart and Kevin were so accommodating in arranging a pick up time that worked for us too.

The van itself was great, it was immaculate (inside and out) and had everything you could need. The little touches like the tea/coffee basket were lovely. We all had a great sleep in the van, all the bedding provided was cosy, comfortable and smelled lovely (fresh laundry smell, which I love!) Our wee girl absolutely loved the pop up roof bed, it was surprisingly easy to put up and bring back down again.

This was our first time travelling in a campervan and I would definitely book with Miles Away again in the future. Highly recommend!
