Scammers Awful experience

Awful experience. Still awaiting return of my deposit for complete failure to show any evidence of advertising my company in previous years, fortunately I never signed the contract, took them 7 months to Wang an awful advert out without my contact details together plus a video that was for a different company stating mine would be similar and I had to pay for it ! Completly awful. Mis- sold , I was told totally different information from the contract , and they refused to engage in answering my email questions including evidence of the contract they have with my local Golf club. Which my local Golf club no longer had a contract with them ( for the obvious reasons). Trust pilot please stop taking these reviews down ! They are rude and awful to deal with, lying, mis-selling, and definitly not worth dealing with from my experience and situation. All align chiropractic clinic. Please feel free to contact me. I am progressing this further.

Now my integrity is being questioned by this company!

Following my recent review, please can you point out what is incorrect?

Everything there is factually correct and I have both the call transcripts and call recordings as evidence to prove this.

Yes they are allegations, based on the truth, so please can you confirm what is not the truth?

I will swear on oath that the everything is factually correct.

Can you swear on oath that yournl sales representstive didnt say "Yes" to when i asked him if i could play in competitions - Just before I paid, which is why I paid!

Can you swear on oath that another representative didnt say "If thats been said then that definatelty shouldn't have been"

Yes we had call dialogue between me and The sales representstive but nothing was ever agreed or paid until younrepresentsrive confirmed that I can play in competitions (Call recording at 10:15). Payment was made in full at 10:24. Contracts sent over after payment at 10:41 and signed the next day as there was no mention of non-competition play.

Only when I went to the Golf Club was i told that I couldn't play in competitions.

When I spoke with another colleague to raise the complaint, they confirmed, again via the call logs I requested that "if that's been confirmed then that definately shouldn't have been confirmed"

I reiterate, when I asked the sales representstive, with the 16 rounds - if i could play in competitions, they categorically replied "yep, they are yours to use, there are no restrictions on them, we just ask to book atleast 7 days in advance" (Again this is from the call logs I have, and from my SAR request)

My main full-time profession is actually saving lives on a daily basis, and my integrity, honesty will always be something that I take pride in.

This review and my previous reviews are not fictional, made up or fabricated.

If naming a sales rep, and your complaints lead and members of your staff in factual evidence, then I am guilty of that, but that crime is nothing compared to misleading a sale, costing a young family, a front line public service worker and small business owner who is trying his best to support his family, into spending £2,964.

None of the services have been used by myself and on the 27th May, I even offered a reduction of £2,500 refund via email, which was totally ignored, and not even an email back!

Following my intial review, I have had 11 calls to-date, from other users, going through similar issues. The majority being your "automatic renewal policy" Where you dont make any effort to inform customers that their auto-renew date is closing in, giving them an option to opt out if they wish, but trap them into automatically renewing within the 3 months of the contract end date.

In your defence, you don't have to send them this reminder, and maybe by doing this, you would lose alot of revenue, but morally, this would be better to do and also shows a business that cares for its customers, maybe?

Please I fully 100% alow you to verify and prove my allegations and accusations are wrong, by replying to this review and I openly give you authority to share any information you have publicly on this platform to give you an opportunity to show that what i am saying is wrong!

This is your time to prove that my accusations and allegations are false, and discredit such an abhorrent review.

I respect you asking Trustpilot to remove the previous review, but please be mindful that this is a customers gift, to give honest, accurate and truthful reviews of businesses. Maybe the reason my review hasn't been removed as per your request, is because they deem it not to be inacurate, not to be defamatory, or not to be based on agenuine experience! - Trustpilot, please leave these reviews up and please contact me for the evidence to demonstrate that my review is absolutely the truth and factually correct, based on my experience.

For anyone who wishes to hear the call
logs and transcripts (redacting personal information ensuring i dont breach GDPR regulations), please feel free to contact me.

Avoid, worst experience I’ve ever had

Absolute waste of time and money

Promised so much, and then as soon as the were paid became absolutely pointless, went into the golf club recently and they’ve never even heard of me, or seen my logo, logged onto their app which they use for the courses, business not listed, when I questioned it (after they forced me to renew or pay their minimum daily fee to terminate (£1200))
They said that they had completed all their contractural requirements, which must have been basically get the money and don’t do anything else because I saw nothing from any of this, yes should have gone to the course earlier to check, but I guess you can’t trust anyone, they also offered a “free” golf course advertisement for another venue which has also disappeared from the app entirely, so guess they must have lost that course, but I was never informed of this either,

I was told I had the option to renew in 2 years, turns out if you don’t want to renew you have to cancel 3 months before renewal, and if you don’t, well, they will still have to charge you their minimum daily fee of £1200 to terminate, even after asking for a bit of lenience I was told well I do t have to offer the termination fee at all, so no compassion for my situation, this has all but bankrupted me, and no one at that company cares.

I asked them to reduce it if possible and Mike told me he wasn’t authorised to go any lower, begged to speak to someone who is authorised to which I was told “thats me” asked to speak to someone higher up and all he said was you wouldn’t get to speak to Richard Branson if you phoned virgin, so why would you speak to someone higher up here…at that point I gave up, said I would do the termination fee over 6 months (as they said I could) they sent me an invoice for the first one, and then sent me a link for a website to set up a direct debit which I couldn’t commit to incase the money wasn’t in my account, said I wouldn’t be setting up a direct debit, and they sent me another invoice for the next month, and then said it wasnt possible for them to just said invoices, like they had done for 2 months before?, then went on to threatened legal action if payment or direct debit not set up by 5pm, so borrowed the money and paid the rest and now leaving this review, will also be finding other review site to make sure no other company would want to risk this mess, in my opinion I would avoid this company if given the chance, I would have been better off putting the £4000 into a lottery, the result could not have been worse

I’ve never felt the need to leave a review before, especially bad, but the sheer lack of willingness to help or effort to do what they said they would, felt like I had no choice

I would give this company zero stars if…

I would give this company zero stars if I could.

Earlier this year, Golf Growth Group contacted me about advertising my business at a local golf club. The offer initially sounded promising, and during a telephone conversation with their representative, I was quoted payments of approximately £370 per month over nine months.

Although I signed their business-to-business agreement, I deliberately did not sign the separate finance agreement because I wanted time to consider the commitment properly. I then received repeated requests to sign it. When I reviewed the finance agreement, the payments were approximately £436 per month not the £370 I had been quoted. I raised this immediately and was again told that the agreed amount would be £370.

I still did not sign the finance agreement because something did not feel right.
Approximately one month later, £436 was taken from my business bank account by Premium Credit, despite me never signing the finance agreement. When I contacted Premium Credit, I was told that my bank details had been obtained from another agreement I held with them. I made it clear that I had not authorised this payment and requested an immediate refund.

I was initially told the matter would be investigated and that the refund could take seven working days. However, more than a month later, the money had still not been returned. Premium Credit then told me that Golf Growth Group had instructed them not to issue the refund.
After warning that I would consider legal action, I contacted my bank directly. My bank recovered the full payment on the same day without any difficulty. I subsequently received an apology accepting responsibility for what had happened.

Despite this, approximately four months later, Golf Growth Group continues to send me invoices and demand payment. They claim they have been advertising my business, even though I dispute authorising any advertising to proceed and have not been provided with satisfactory evidence that a service was delivered.

I have repeatedly requested proof of the advertising, including evidence showing where and how my business has been promoted. I will also be contacting the golf club directly to establish whether any advertising was ever displayed.
Based on my experience, I found the company’s sales process, payment handling and response to my complaint extremely concerning. I would strongly advise other business owners to carefully check every figure, keep copies of all communications and avoid signing or authorising anything until they are completely satisfied with the terms.

Significant Gap Between Sales Promises and Service Delivery

Our company entered into a marketing partnership with Golf Growth Group based on the strength of its sales presentation and the scope of services that were outlined to us. Unfortunately, our experience following sign-up has been very disappointing and, in our view, the service delivered has fallen considerably short of what was promised.

Once the agreement was signed and invoices were paid, communication became increasingly difficult. Numerous emails sent from mid-February onwards went unanswered, and the proactive support that had featured prominently during the sales process was no longer evident.

A particular concern was that the partner Golf Club, with whom we were advised we had an official marketing association, appeared to have no knowledge of our business or the arrangement. Repeated requests for Golf Growth Group to facilitate an introduction to the club's General Manager were not acted upon, leaving us to seek engagement directly ourselves.

In addition, several key elements of the package were either not delivered or could not be verified:
• A push notification campaign that we were informed would reach the Golf Club members was not received by the membership.
• Advertising that was stated would be displayed on screens within the clubhouse, including the main bar, lounge area and reception, was not in place. I personally visited the club to confirm whether the advertisements were being shown and found no evidence of this.
• We were advised that at least two networking events would be organised as part of the partnership, yet no such events took place during our involvement.
• Meaningful engagement from Golf Growth Group only occurred after we contacted the Golf Club directly regarding our concerns.

In summary, our experience was characterised by poor communication, a lack of delivery against key contractual commitments, and an apparent absence of coordination with the partner golf club that formed the basis of the offering. While the creative work produced was of a good standard, the broader marketing partnership failed to deliver the visibility, engagement and business opportunities that were promised. As a result, we feel we received very little value from the investment and would not recommend Golf Growth Group based on our experience.

If you like playing golf

If you like playing golf, I am not sure this particular package would be suitable for a keen golfer, or at least read the T&C’s very carefully. It will tell you that you will need to give 7 days notice for getting a Tee time. Also make sure you get clear advice on what golf courses are available to you in your local area because they do disappear of the database of courses that are near to you on the booking forms. The one that I wanted to play at and only signed up for has now stopped its affiliate program so now I don’t have a local course to play at. They never gave me an alternative course or emailed me to inform me. They were very active in their attempts to get me signed up. It has left a very sour taste in my mouth and my wallet is very light after the experience.

Hello Neil,

Thank you for your review.

We are sorry to read your comments, however we are aware of the customer and the account being referred to and have already been in direct contact regarding the matters raised.

The agreement entered into was clearly set out on a fixed-term basis with defined terms, including booking notice periods and access to the course network. These terms are provided prior to sign-up and confirmed as part of the onboarding process.

In relation to the course referenced in your review, we would like to clarify that certain venues may change availability due to decisions made by the golf clubs themselves regarding affiliate participation. Where this occurs, alternative arrangements are offered in line with the package terms. In this instance, the customer was also provided with additional exclusive rounds and alternatives negotiated as part of the membership benefits.

We do not accept the characterisation of our sales or support processes described in this review, nor the suggestion that services were not provided as agreed.

We have therefore reported this review to Trustpilot for investigation under their content guidelines on the basis that it does not represent a fair or genuine reflection of the customer experience.

We would welcome the opportunity to resolve any remaining concerns directly and ensure full clarity on the account and package deliverables.

Kind regards,
The Golf Growth Group

Sold the dream yet delivered nothing!

Sold the dream, delivered absolutely nothing. Customer services none existent, no interest in resolving the issue! The issue being they had taken months worths of payments yet failed to provide a single piece of advertisement! Emails ignored for weeks going on months on end, along with numerous voicemails not returned.
Only finally getting a response after cancelling the direct debit to say this must be reinstated yet showing no willing to provide anything that has been paid for and or offer any explanation and refusal to process a refund for the services sold and not provided. Reported to the fraud team, avoid at all costs!

AVOID!!! Total Scam Artists

As the title would suggest these lot are absolute scam artists that prey on small businesses. Rope you into a credit agreement that is never mentioned at the point of sale, sell you the world and provide nothing but an overpriced advert in a golf club if they even actually have an association with the golf club in the first place.

Like many peoples experiences you'll see in the 1 star review section, we received a call from that sold us the world... We have received nothing of what was sold to us on the original call, no "account manager" support as "Mike" never replies to anything and now nor do their customer service team, No app guidance, no check ins, no nothing. I would have been about £200 cheaper contacting the golf course myself and asking them to advertise our company.... And would you believe it, we are almost a year into the agreement and we still haven't had a single lead from this alleged "Marketing Partnership"

Do your research people, they are run by the Brayshaw's who seem to be pro's at these sorts of businesses. As many have already pointed out, a little look into companies house shows they have done this for years under several different businesses, all of which have either changed name, dissolved or are currently being taken to court. The big contenders are:

> W1G LIMITED (formally Whole in 1 Golf LTD)
> Golf Marketing Agency LTD (formally Digi-luxe media LTD)
> Pinnacle Media Partnership Limited (formally The 19th Club Limited)

It looks like they may have been partial to the odd fake trust pilot review as well as you will see from many of their other "businesses" mention above, their trust pilot reviews are only 1 star and it looks suspiciously like all of their good reviews have been taken down... almost like they weren't legit review 🤔

How these sort of people get away with this is beyond me. There are even golf clubs warning people to stay away from them because they have no association with them but are claiming they do.

Hello Billy,

Thank you for your review.

We are unable to identify the individual leaving this review as a customer in our records under the name “Billy Court”. As a result, we are unable to verify the account or the experience described, or provide any account-specific response.

The agreement you refer to was entered into on a fixed-term basis with clear contractual terms, including the services, benefits, and notice provisions agreed at the point of sign-up. We strongly dispute the suggestion that any credit agreement was entered into without knowledge or that key contractual terms were not made available. All terms are presented prior to agreement and confirmed as part of the onboarding process.

We also do not recognise the description of service delivery provided in this review. Account management support, booking access, and promotional opportunities are part of the agreed package structure and are made available in line with the contractual arrangement. We do not accept the assertion that no services or support were provided.

In addition, we strongly reject the wider speculative claims made regarding our business operations, alleged conduct, or references to other companies and individuals. These statements are not substantiated and do not reflect the nature of our business or our client relationships.

We also note that this review includes generalised allegations and commentary about other businesses and third parties. Trustpilot guidelines require reviews to be based on first-hand, verifiable experiences, and not include unverified claims about unrelated parties.

We would encourage the reviewer to contact us directly with identifiable account details so we can properly locate, review, and investigate the agreement in question. Without this information, we are unable to verify or meaningfully respond to the specific claims made.

We have therefore reported this review to Trustpilot for investigation under their content guidelines relating to disputed, misleading, and potentially defamatory content.

Kind Regards,

Echo'ing all the other 1 star reviews…

Echo'ing all the other 1 star reviews here as we're having an identical experience. We signed up, received absolutely nothing, gave notice that we would not be renewing over a month before the renewal date.

We are now being threatened with court action since we 'didnt give enough notice' per the terms and conditions that were hidden behind a hyperlink.

It is a completely illegal practice to not bring material clauses that commit a business to a multi-year, multi-thousand pound cost to the signers direct and overt attention.

We will be fighting this with our full weight. Avoid like the plague.
