Milford Golf Academy Avis

Great golf lesson again today with Robin. Patient and keen to iron out so of my faults. Given some drills to work on and things to note and watch put for. My golf is improving and will take the winter season to home those skills with some follow up lessons. Already see improvements just need to patiently practice and make notes on areas to improve each time.
Love the lessons are around the course and not on a range or in some room.
Look forward to see the improvements each time and setting targets to get my handicap down.

Great lesson with Robin. Looking forward to the next one!

Robin is such a great teacher, no jargon, no BS, just simple instructions.
It only takes him a few minutes to see what is wrong, a couple of simple moves and thought process, then boom 💥 sorted.

Frist shared lesson for my son and husband as an intro to golf. They loved it and will go back regularly. Robin is a fantastic teacher

Robin is a patient funny coach. Never takes life too seriously but is absolutely there when you need him. Always offering helpful constructive advice about your grip, your swing, the right club to use, the whole body stance & aim; the correct position depending on type of club, positioning etc.
Thank you Robin. A pleasure to have you watching our every move.

Absolutely loved it. Robin is very patient and he needs to be with me as I am awful. Hopefully as each week goes by I will learn more. Great fun and what a guy

Having not been able to play much golf over the last few months, I knew I was rusty. As ever Robin pointed me in the right direction (sometimes literally), and ironed out my issues.

A very enjoyable and productive lesson.

I had 4 lessons with Robin and he has transformed my game . I started with a terrible fade on my drives and long irons and very erratic shots in the bunkers and around the greens . I had my final lesson today and every aspect of my game has improved, including my confidence.

Robin McGarr is a fantastic golf coach who really cares about people and is fully committed to supporting their development. He's already provided my young children with various private lessons, in addition to running a number of extremely popular golf holiday camps. Many thanks for all your fantastic help!

Quality Lesson. My lesson with Robin today was hugely beneficial as we focused on certain parts of my swing. The importance of preparation was key together with the angle of my swing, all in all a great lesson which has now given me specific areas to work on and improve.

The best! My son Loves to be with Robin.

My kids words...

Thank you, Robin.

We had a junior lesson which my son really enjoyed; will be booking more lessons in future.

Great fun for three hours getting used to different aspects of the game.

It didn't matter if you were a beginner or a seasoned player.

Robin makes it fun and is full of useful tips. It's also a lovely course!

The best! The kids adore him. He makes golf engaging and fun.

My 6 year old daughter has been attending lessons with Robin, the golf professional at Milford Golf Club for the past few months.
He is an effective coach for young golfers as his patience with the children is clear, allowing them to learn at their own pace. He is personable and attentive, making an effort to know each child's name, which contributes to a comfortable learning environment. His coaching sessions are well-planned, incorporating skill activities that are both effective and engaging. Robin consistently provides encouragement and praise, helping to build the children's confidence. He is a solid choice for young players at the club.
