at least they are 100 % consitantly unable to cook a steak !! and thats their speciality
how every time i've been they can never get it right
and the staff atitude is just as bad
awful all round and very expensive
they don't care
don't settle for second rate quality and service

It was very busy being so close to Christmas but our waitress was outstanding. The service she provided was second to none. How refreshing not to be addressed as"guys" and to have someone interested in what they do.The food was excellent with lots of choices. My only disappointment was there was no goats cheese starter available. The atmosphere was lovely and the restaurant very festive. It was a very pleasant experience.

Restaurant looked beautiful. Very atmospheric/Christmas theme. Was a special family occasion and took a chance on M&C as we haven't experienced good food there in a while. . But the food was really poor. Ordered a ribeye, medium as would suit the cut. It arrived very rare and took five minutes before I could get the attention of waiting staff to ask for it to be cooked to medium. Waited over ten minutes for its return, by which time my family had almost finished. It was still rare, although tough to the point I couldn't cut it easily with a steak knife, and it bled into the rest of the food. Not the first time we've had poor food here, but will be the last. Certainly not helped by the manager (?) busy messaging on his phone when I was trying to get his attention. Then
continued to message/read a message as I asked for the steak to be cooked to medium. May expect this if ordering a steak from a pub, but this is a steak restaurant..

David Miller and his team are extremely professional and hardworking. No matter what obstacle has been in the way of our sale he was there to see it through with clear communication and good advice. He very much held our hand the whole way through from negotiations to completion and we don’t know what we would have done without him.
