We spent a week at Villa Bayad in April 2026 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family - we had a sensational time!
The Villa was perfect for 3 couples and 2 teenagers – everyone had their own “house” where we could enjoy some privacy but get together in the main building for drinks & meals and by the fabulous pool.
Komang and his team were really wonderful – nothing was too much trouble - and Sri’s cooking was exceptional with a wide choice of Balinese and Western meals.
The Ministry of Villas booking process and subsequent communication was very good & Prita did a great (and patient!) job of organising activities for us all.
We can highly recommend this Villa which is about 90 mins from the airport and 30 mins from Ubud.

Diana from Ministry of Villas could not have been more helpful. She sent us numerous options and always answered our questions promptly and looked further when we focused more on what we wanted. I could not speak more highly of Ministry of Villa's service and especially Diana.

We stayed at Villa La and Villa Li as a team of 9 for 7 days and 6 nights for a work function, and we were extremely happy with the entire experience.

The villas are spacious, clean, and very comfortable — ideal for both work and downtime. The location is excellent, with convenience stores, cafés, massage places, and restaurants all within easy walking distance.

Security was very reassuring, with a 24/7 onsite security guard, and the butler service and wider team were outstanding. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Gede, Ayu, Wulan and the lovely manager lady who I forgot her name, along with the rest of the team.

We ordered breakfast and lunch through the villa, and the team also helped us source stationeries for our meetings, which made running a work session very smooth. When a few team members unfortunately caught Bali belly, the response was quick and caring — the team arranged nurses for medication and drips, regularly checked in on us, and even provided complimentary ginger herbal tea to help with recovery. That level of care really stood out.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay and exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely come back and stay with them again, and would highly recommend these villas for both group stays and work retreats.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my dad's 80th with his wife, 4 children, their spouses, and 8 grandchildren! Beautiful staff, great good and happy memories. We could not recommend it more highly - you will not be disappointed!

We had a great break at Villa Sila on Koh Samui in July. The booking process through Diana at Ministry of Villas was smooth and efficient, and where we had a request -such as installing a temporary fence around the pool for a young child – they were all accommodated. The villa is as beautiful as the images, right on the beach, looking across to Koh Phangan. The beach is safe. There are rocks in the water directly opposite the property, but swimming is easy 50 metres along. The pool is fabulous, with a shallow end perfect for children. But the standout feature is the quality of the welcome and care from the staff. During our stay, the house manager Goon and her a team responded to every request we made, from organising travel to the menu for dinner to the excellent breakfasts, with genuine warmth and desire to host us as guests. The team keep the property spotless, discreetly clearing up when we were outside, and Goon was a great source of ideas for visits at Mae Nam and beyond. A great stay made possible by a great team!

I recently stayed in Villa Uma Santai in Canggu with our group of 9. This is the perfect place for an ultimate getaway, a retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. It was so lovely waking up to the luscious surroundings and being able to take a dip in the pool when we wanted. Staff were always attentive, making sure that the villa is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Breakfast was delicious (chef Eddy catered well for our dietary requirements). The villa is within walking distance to other cafes and restaurants. Traffic in Canggu is hectic at peak hour, but the villa was tucked away in a quiet pocket so we weren't affected by noise. It's also really close to Pererenan Beach which was a nice walk to the beach in the morning.

The staff are always on standby ready to help, with a smile on their face. Thank you so much to Mr Dudu and your team for the wonderful hospitality! Also special mention to Prita and the team from the Ministry of Villas for your prompt support and help in making sure that our stay was perfect!

We received excellent help/service from Ministry of Villas while preparing for our large family holiday to Samui. From initial contact to final preparations, the team was responsive and detailed. Even on the day of departure when our flight was delayed, the MoV team coordinated closely between our group and the villa team on the ground and kept us assured that the ground transfers and villa team were kept updated of our schedule. When I started on the journey of looking for a Bali villa for 2 families, I was skeptical of Ministry of Villas as I had found it by accident when searching the web. I was very wary about being scammed.
All my worries proved unfounded, as the Ministry of Villas team provided exceptional service and were always helpful with my many questions. I even had Sara (co-founder) ring me at one point to allay my fears and explain why the transactions work a certain way.

From my initial enquiry, Diana helped find an appropriate villa and helped through the booking process, then Novi and Ari took over as the concierge team who patiently answered all my questions on visas, to meals, to local attractions, and transport.

This service was above and beyond what you would get with a travel agent. I would highly recommend Ministry of Villas if you are wanting a seamless and easy experience in booking a villa for one or multiple families.

They then allowed us to make a booking at one of their magnificent villas. When we had to check in a day late thanks to Jetstar, the team had everything under control for us to come a day later. This really helped. Can I also call out Nila who assisted with the many questions and queries in a timely manner. An asset to your company. I will be using you again when we next go villa hunting :-)

I never leave reviews about anything but for the first time feel compelled to do so because of the extraordinary level of service I have received to date from Alistair, Sara & Qhorin, my Bali villa specialist.
I have not been easy to deal with. I am organising a very large family holiday for first time Bali goers. We have been clueless on how to navigate the villa rental process & have had so many questions Google would have trouble keeping up with answers!!!
That said, I have received personal phone calls from Alistair, Sara & Qhorin & timely responses to every email. They have answered every question with patience & professionalism even going so far as to speak highly of a competitor when I asked a direct question about that particular company. That is integrity!
We have been to-ing & fro-ing as to which company to use when Sara advised me "to go with my gut" That is what I will be doing!

We chose a villa from Ministry of Villas because we had a large group of 28 people. It wasn’t easy to find villas which can accommodate that many people. We were initially considering booking 2-3 villas but the Ministry of Villas staff found me this property which could host all of us.

It was nice to have the entire company staying in adjoining villas, it made everyone feel special to have their own space, yet have a common place to gather. Not to mention that the compound was fairly secluded among rice fields but right in the best spot of Seminyak.

There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and massage spots within walking distance to the villa. It was also near enough to visit the beach clubs, beaches and other areas like Canggu if you need to.

The villas were very spacious, gorgeous and everyone enjoyed hanging out and swimming in the pool. Everyone loved chilling out in the villas’ common areas as well. The villa staff were absolutely a delight and helpful and made our stay very comfortable and homely.

The Ministry of Villas’ staff were accommodating and made sure to coordinate any special requests we had. The CEO Alastair himself personally attended to us to make sure any misunderstandings or issues we had were ironed out. It was very nice of him and I felt that we were in good hands.

I would go with Ministry of Villas and their villas to have a good time in Bali. I cannot recommend them enough.

My family and I have recently returned from an 8 night stay at Villa Windu Asri organised by the amazing team at Ministry of Villas. We initially approached MoV with no idea of where to stay with our large group (13 people) but lots of prerequisites regarding the accommodation due to having children in the group. Lola found us a villa that perfectly suited our needs and budget. The booking process was seamless from start to finish and the customer service was 5 star. Once we had settled into the villa MoV arrived with a welcome gift to check on us and even assisted on the ground when one member of our group became sick. Every step of the way we received VIP service and I would highly recommend using Ministry of Villas to book your next trip!

The Longhouse villa was a hidden gem and a sanctuary in Bali, with a truly magical experience. The amenities are beautiful and very unique; however, it was the staff at the villa that made the final touch of perfection, and I will always be thankful to every single one of them for making our time there a pure enjoyment and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Every single room at the villa has a special and unique character, so choosing one room over the other is almost impossible. Everyone was super happy, together during the day, and well separated at night. The pictures barely do any justice for the magnificence of this estate. It really made our wedding special, easily accommodating 36 guests for night of joy and entertainment.
I'd like to extend our special thanks to the villa manager, Rudy. He went above and beyond to make our stay extremely comfortable, and was the key person in making things happen. The wedding organizers had quite a few issues on the day of the wedding, and I honestly can't imagine what would have happened if not for the Rudy's help pulling it all together and engaging his staff in fixing essentially everything and making sure the wedding went smoothly. There was not a single request that he couldn't do, all we had to do was ask, and he made sure things happened. I was amazed when he brought us the 220v-to-110v power converter we forgot to take for our video equipment, had it installed and tested. Just an amazing level of dedication...
Heppy, the villa butler, is another super special person that all of us are very thankful for. She stayed up late with us almost every night to make sure everyone was welcomed and everyone felt comfortable, including our visiting guests. She followed through every single request with a great level of integrity and service, surpassing all of our expectations. From finding local fruits that were not in season, to making sure everyone was greeted and welcomed the moment they came in. Her dedication to the villa and guests is unbelievable and we can't express enough appreciation for everything she did for us. Even after we left the villa, and forgot some items, she had them delivered to our hotel the same day we'd requested, on the other side of the city, in a very nice package. Just another small but significant example of her dedication...
