Project left incomplete despite substantial payments

VOLTEK hired Mobius Studios to develop a complete connected security product, including mechanical design, electronics, firmware, prototyping and a companion mobile application.

The project was structured around several milestones and we made substantial payments throughout the development process. However, several important deliverables remained incomplete or were never delivered.

In particular, the product casing was not delivered, the companion application was not delivered, the firmware provided could not be fully validated, and we never received a complete functional product ready for manufacturing or commercialization.

We followed up repeatedly and ultimately sent a formal notice requesting completion of the outstanding work. Despite this, the project remained blocked and communication eventually stopped while major deliverables were still outstanding.

The initial proposal appeared professional and comprehensive, but unfortunately the execution did not match what had been presented or agreed.

Based on our documented experience, we would not recommend Mobius Studios for a similar product development project.

Mobius Studios developed a new product launch video for me. From the initial interaction to the final approval, they were very thorough. They took care during each step of the process to be sure that I was getting the outcome that I wanted. They did multiple changes and iterations to be sure it was exactly what I wanted. Additionally, from our conversations they intuited what would work best on video regarding the product features that I wanted to highlight. In the end some of the additional elements that they incorporated were more than I had hoped for- they added a products deconstruction scene and a close up of product movements. I am very happy with the end result & will use Mobius again.
