I chose money solver at the end of May…

I chose money solver at the end of May 2021 to help with my tax debt of $45,000+, I was told several times once I had made my first payment of the $5,650 they were charging they would file paper with the IRS to stop any further Interest and penalties from accruing, also they would file paperwork so that the IRS could not put a lien on my home, I was instructed to not speak to anyone from the IRS. After hearing from them a hand full of times since and paying my monthly payment to them, I received a call from money solver letting me know they had completed my case and it was time to submit payment to the IRS the new total was $65,000+. I could not believe it, when I asked about being told the interest and penalties were supposed to stop, I was told "Someone did not tell you the truth then, would you like to continue or should I stop and close your case." I am now in a much worse position and to make matters even worse they are calling and harassing me for the final payment of the $5,650. I told the collector what had happened and asked to speak to a supervisor, he apologized and said he would have someone call me, I never received a call until yesterday another collector asking for final payment. I am calling in the morning and demanding to speak to a supervisor, I want my money back to put towards the extra $20,000 I now have to pay the IRS because of money solver.

Not the Best Choice

I've had four different EAs this year. Every time there's a new EA, my IRS agent gets frustrated, understandably so. I also paid them to do my bookkeeping for the year. I kept asking for reports, and I was told they were behind. Finally, in November, I was told they were caught up for the year. So I asked for reports, only to be told they use proprietary software that does not allow reports to clients. What good does that rubbish do me? No good whatsoever.

When you partner with a tax relief company, you really need someone who knows what they are doing. I had to tell my EA several times that my LLC return was part of my personal return as it's a single member LLC. It did not instill a ton of confidence.

Audits and the audit process are scary events that have kept me awake at night. I went with another agency, letting my IRS agent know what I was doing and why, and he welcomed the change.

I signed up with Money Solver in…

I signed up with Money Solver in October, 2021 believing I had reputable staff to resolve my tax issues. I was under the impression I could receive a reduction in taxes owed. As of March, 2022, all they did was ask me for a copy of a CP2000 that I couldn't find but was available at IRS. I had two late returns (2019 and 2020) and needed IRS to accept the completed 2018 amended return. I had previously written IRS requesting they accept my
amended 2018 return. They (IRS) ultimately granted my request and this tax year was resolved no thanks to Money Solver. 2018 was rectified by my correspondence. I continued to depend on Money Solver to assist with tax years 2019 and 2020 thinking they could achieve some tax forgiveness. During this time, one of the "consultants" had submitted the 2018 she'd completed showing that I owed more money than my tax preparer reflected on my amended return. I didn't need her to redo the amended return but what she also did was submitted this erroneous return to me failing to reflect my legal name. When I called her attention to this she corrected a couple of the sheets and said it would be ok. I terminated my payments to them in April and they asked me to submit my 2021 return (which by the way wasn't in the contract). Our agreement was for tax years 2018, 2019 and 2020. I did send them the 2021 return in June, 2022 but the consultant about a month later said she hadn't received it. Oddly to this day the return wasn't returned to me by the postal service. Did she request the return from IRS since she alleged nonreceipt? Perhaps when I suggested she should exercise this option. The clock is still ticking meaning more late charges assessed by IRS. I received notification on 8/8/22 via email from Money Solver that I owed approximately $30,000 which included tax year 2021. The "consultant" sent a contract for me to agree to pay IRS $450-$500 per month. No other docs were sent for review.
This company is a scam and deemed to be useless, unresponsive and you're better off either finding a reliable service or interfacing IRS on your own. At least you can use this money to pay towards your IRS debt. Disastrous experience!!!

Is there any way to leave a 0 star???

Where to start;

They mislead you from the start - I needed help for several years of taxes. Was informed they would take care of it. Then after I start paying they tell me it was for only one year.

My tax Analysist (what a joke) has had me stringing along for several years now. I'm asked for documents so I send them, then they want more. After that I dont hear from him for several weeks and I get told that its because I didnt send the requested info - resend the info and then get told they need something else.

I get put on hold as I haven't provided the info. Resubmit don't hear from him for several weeks then I need to send more stuff.

This is a never ending joy - if its not bad enough trying to get out from under the Tax burden with IRS Money Slover makes it worse!!!! The only money solving here is what they charged me to do little to nothing @ a 63% bad reviews - Run - Run to a good service!!!!!

I could go on with the bad review as it has been a terrible experience!!!! I just don't to waste your time like they are still doing to me -- I think we are on 4 years now with no resolution!!

Also love how they give feed back we Have 100% answered your feed back call this number and waste more time not fixing the issue, thank you for giving us your money - have a nice day!!! What a scam -- are you offering premium car care insurance also or can I send you a check so you can inherit 100 billion from your dead uncle?????

I was so tired of dealing with IRS

I was so tired of dealing with IRS. I was desperate. I turned to this organization for help. I followed their instructions and submitted all documents. They worked quick and resolved my debt. They were always so patient with my constant questions and concerns. I am ever so grateful that I turned to them and am so glad I turned to them for help.

Absolute worst advocacy imaginable. Spent more than five thousand dollars for a few minutes with a "tax advocate" who, in reality, was no more than a shade tree tax preparer who got a kickback from the home office for a few reluctant interactions. As it turned out, she advocated more for the IRS than for me. To add insult to injury, after I paid almost 60k I thought I was finished with the IRS and had my problem solved, I finally get a call from my "advocate" telling me that i still owe 26k. Not a single cent of benefit from this "relationship." A word of advice to anyone considering this service: LOOK ELSEWHERE. I literally did most of the work myself. A good tax lawyer would probably charge less and understand the responsibility that a fiduciary owes to their client. Dear Consumer- YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

I had to wait almost 1 year for any…

I had to wait almost 1 year for any results. Results are extra penalties and interest because of the long response time. I owe more now than I did a year ago because of the response time. I would have done better contacting the IRS myself.

Do NOT do it you’ll regret it and they don’t care if you are in the worst financial situation of your life they just want their money even after not helping you with anything they promised!

I came to them after being promised they could get rid of all my fees and penalties so that I could pay it back a lot quicker. Then the two ladies working on my case continued to ask for the same information over and over and over but nothing came of it. Then they ghosted me for MONTHSSSSS I tried everything to reach someone emailing everywhere I could and calling numbers I could find and leaving voicemails then after I started to get crappy an mean another women reached out. She apologized that the ladies on my case moved on or whatever and I thought all was well. So then I send the information again but this time we’ve lost 80% of our income by now so we were then and still are drowning in more bills then income…. I was super hopeful this new lady would be the one to do what I was promised from the start… erasing my fees and penalties and preventing further ones(fresh start I think is what they called it) and since the IRS was already holding two of my bigger refunds that should have covered most if not all once the fees and penalties were removed. I was so excited to think we’d get our 2020 taxes after not getting taxes since 2013-2014 and well that didn’t happen… the lady set up a paper for low income people that stops them from seizing assets an such (that I absolutely could have easily done myself!!) but did NOTHING for the fees and penalties then I called irs and was able to remove one years myself which they said my tax lawyer should have already done if they were actually doing anything for me… so now here I am again with another big refund (over 14k) for 2021 still going off to the irs cause I could only take off one year myself and my “lawyers” said they “did everything they could” for me by filling out one paper that I could have quickly and easily done my dang self!! And now y’all still charge me this monthly payment for the service I signed up for but never received and this is the 2nd tax refund I should have been getting back with y’all’s “promises” and I’m DROWNING in bills with very VERY little income and just had my fourth child(had to return to work within a week of giving birth because my part time income is all we have) and I’m losing everything outside of the bare minimum I’m able to keep between my tiny income and maxing out all my credit cards(which has DESTROYED my credit I was in the 750s and now I’m in the lower 600 range) and y’all have the nerve to blow my phone up about a late payment needing payed to avoid legal repercussions or whatever and threaten that you report to my credit bureaus like my credit isn’t already bad enough…. I still owe over $4k and have no way out of these payments but didn’t get anything close to the service I was promised and calling constantly to remind me that I’m so damn broke I can’t afford to even pay attention ain’t helping… how about you do something helpful and pay off my account with y’all since you didn’t help and it’s taking a toll on my credit and I can’t afford the payments if I want to keep my rent, lights, car, and phone that I have to have for my children’s specialist and schools and my work… I don’t know why I’m wasting data to type this y’all don’t care and people like me that are desperate for real help will fall for the bull crap. I’m just sad and freaking mad!! I’m so tired of this all!! I’m a good person and I give everything an more to anyone in need but still always manage to ended up on the losing side and I give way more chances than anyone deserves! Shoot even now typing this I feel bad for putting a bad review on y’all but I’ve got to get this off my chest and no one wants to hear it on the phone so y’all can read it here and anywhere else I can find to post this with everyone else too
