Broken jar of olive
They indeed replaced out-of-stock goods. But in my case, they replaced my goods with 2 jars of olives, of which 1 jar broke. Glasses and juice are all over the basket. So I cannot give the otherwise beautiful basket as a gift.

Regarding the items, we do substitute out-of-stock goods with items of equal or greater value to ensure your gift is sent out on time. We apologize that the specific substitution and subsequent damage fell short of your expectations.
Our policy is to provide a refund for the items damaged during shipping. Please reach out to our support team with a photo of the damage so we can process the refund for the broken item and the affected goods.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Was is promised is not delivered
What was received was vastly different then what I purchased. I understand their was substations allowed of equal or greater value but this was not the case! Artisan crackers were replaced with Breton crackers, there was Doritos in the basket (to replace what? who knows). The 2x high end chocolate bars I paid extra for weren't included at all and there was no plush at all. When I complained to the company they said this was legitimate and no refund would be provided. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Very nice gift basket.
The basket was well designed and very appreciated We gave that as a thank you to our neighbor for the care she gave our dog during our absence. She was delighted in receiving the basket that included chocolate and a bottle of wine packaged separately in the box.

A company that has a concern for a job well done and customer satisfaction. I made a mistake several times on my order, and with a very short deadline imperative at the desired delivery date, customer service did everything to arrange me, and in the end my gift arrived on time to its recipient, who was delighted!!! Special occasion RUINERS! They will substitute everything in your order for low grade food
First, delivery was a full day late.
Second, what showed up was nothing that I ordered.
THEY SCAM YOU IN THE FINE PRINT SAYING THEY CAN SUBSTITUTE ANYTHING YOU ORDERD WITHOUT NOTICE OR REFUND.
This is straight from the email they sent me:
Furthermore, you agreed that you are not entitled to refunds or compensation under such circumstances, as per our refund policies: "NOT AS DESCRIBED & SUBSTITUTIONS - Where a package is 'not as described on our website' and/or we have substituted item(s) in a gift/gift basket that are in compliance with our 'substitution policy'.
They substituted every single thing I picked out especially for my recipient with low grade quality food.
I purchased a bespoke basket where you personally pick every single individual item, and they should’ve told me at the time of ordering that they did not have ONE THING I purchased. For example I picked two different salamis, and they sent my recipient beef jerky. I purchased blue cheese and cheddar, and they sent Brie and Camembert.
As for their reply below, their offer was 100% not satisfactory.

Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry that our repeated calls about your address felt like an inconvenience. That is certainly not our intention, and I apologize that our efforts to reach you came across as unprofessional, especially while you were in a meeting.
Our team's priority is to ensure every delivery is successful, and we reach out to customers to avoid potential issues. In this case, the address you provided on your order unfortunately pointed to the middle of the road in our mapping system, which made it impossible for our driver to deliver your package. The representative would have been happy to offer a callback at a more convenient time, and I am sorry that was not an option that was utilized.
We do need to stress the importance of providing a correct and complete address, as an invalid address can lead to a failed delivery and the package being returned to our facility. In such cases, a reshipment would unfortunately incur additional fees.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will use your feedback to improve our communication process.

The worst customer service experience, i ordered flower to be delivered on specific day, the order didn't get delivered, and the customer service's reply was alway "wait, it will be delivered eventually!!", i suspect this whole website is a huge scam, calling my bank to report a fraud, and also calling VISA to report that

Do Not use Montreal Baskets
I ordered a Christmas Gift Basket for my 95 year old mother in Montreal that i was assured would be delivered on December 24, 2024. The basket was never delivered. When I contacted Montreal Basket on Saturday, December 28 - i was told nothing could be done until Monday, December 30 and that someone would call me that morning - no one did. When i again called them they said they could deliver the Basket but could not guarantee a delivery date as they were "very busy" or they could cancel the order and give me a refund. I told them to cancel the order. Will never use Montreal Baskets again - terrible service - no concern or apology for ruining my elderly mother's Christmas.

Gift basket is not what you order
I ordered a gift basket and included payment for an extra bottle of Baileys. The chocolate covered raisins were opened and the bottle of Baileys did not come with the order. Read the small print as they say they cannot promise that the order will be what you ordered. Absolutely the worst company. Totally unacceptable service.
