Horrible Customer Service
Ordered a grill and it shipped as promised. Order was delivered to wrong address by FedEx. I emailed customer service and received no response. Then I called and was told to work it out on my own with FedEx. FedEx has not helped and Monument refuses to issue a refund or ship a replacement product. They said I need to dispute the charge with my bank as I paid by credit card. Absolutely the worst customer service experience in my recent memory. I'll be heading to my local retialer and buying a competitor's product.
600°F Max. from New Eminence 425 & My experience with Monument Grills has been extremely poor to say the least ;(
My experience with Monument Grills has been pretty bad so far.
I have spent about 2 months now trying to get my new Monument Eminence 425 grill up to heat with little to no help from their Customer Service, Warranty Department and even their COO, Ed Riley.
Advertised to easily go to +700°F in a few minutes … my grill goes to about 600 in 20 to 30 minutes with all burners on high and lid closed. Well over 21 emails so far and numerous timed videos also sent.

Wrong initial assembly
After assembly by Lowe’s our grill was delivered but the electronics did not work nor the side burner. After multiple calls to Lowe’s and even being given a case number, they failed to respond. I finally contacted Monuments directly and after explaining the problem, despite it being Lowe’s responsibility Monuments sent someone over who rewired the electrical parts and made several corrective changes so now my grill works great. Excellent response to a difficult situation
Don’t buy this grill… i purchased this…
Don’t buy this grill… i purchased this grill for the 4th. Of July.. great until it rains, the grease tray and drip pan fill with water then overflow into the base and on the ground. A greasy mess all over. I rechecked the assembly instructions and checked the grease tray and drip pan for issues, but I didn’t find any problems. When I contacted the manufacturer, the told me to buy a cover! Well, this isn’t my first grill, and I have never had this issue. It appears to be a design flaw that allows water to run off the top, down the back and into the grill….. I recommend that you consider a different brand. So much for the Manufacturers problem solving…. Make me buy a cover that will need to be replaced every year…. I don’t think so!!!
Excellent quality grill and great…
Excellent quality grill and great customer service. I assumed l had a missing part during assembly and customer service was very courteous and helpful in finding the right replacement part and shipping it promptly via FedEx. The customer representative went above and beyond to take care of my request without me needing to jump through any hoops to get the part. I would highly recommend Monument Grills if you are in the market for a quality backyard grilling solution.

Horrible Customer Service and Tech Support
I bought the Mesa 415BZ 6 weeks ago and after 3 weeks the LEDs stopped working, so I called Customer Service. The customer service team rarely answers the phone and when they do I have to explain the whole issue once again. When I finally got yo a tech he was also clueless. So, I escalated and a manager shipped me a new battery pack for the LEDs which didn't solve my issue. On another note: I felt the metal was flimsy, the doors fly open when you are moving the grill and since they couldn't resolve a simple LED issue how could they possibly handle a major issue! I asked 4 times for a senior manager to call me and nothing, so I returned it and bought a Napoleon grill which I love!
6-1-26 My Response - I appreciate you acknowledging this review, but I honestly believe that’s not a question of a language challenge. It’s a question of actual experience sense of urgency and strong customer facing skills which your entire team lacks. Lastly, the communication between the Technical division and the front office is not existent. You have work to do and I wish you well.

Unsure of Cost Savings vs Quality
Re: 35633 Mesa Blue Gas Grill — In addition to plenty of time (it took 3+ hours to assemble), you’ll just need a Phillips screwdriver and box cutter, Band-Aids and antibiotic ointment (the metal edges are razor sharp), and a dumpster for all the cardboard packaging (equivalent to 4 residential garbage cans).
.
Pros and Cons: In comparison to my previous Weber, the Monument materials are noticeable thinner and cheaper and, presumably, not as strong or durable. However, there is a $200+ price savings with the Monument. The Monument also has 2 extra burners (including a searer), so more bells and whistles. While shipping was fast and free, the assembly time is a deterrent. Last, the Weber is mostly made by Americans in the USA, while Monument is made in by Chinese in communist China. Only time will tell how well my new grill fares.
"Significantly Not As Described" Poor quality and terrible customer service.
merchant’s failure to provide a safe product. While the original unit had functional defects, the replacement firebox provided by the merchant arrived in an even worse condition, presenting clear safety hazards that the merchant has since dismissed as "normal."
Revised Timeline of Hardware Issues
April 6–9, 2026: Purchase and delivery of the original grill.
April 10, 2026: Initial report made regarding regulator and performance issues.
The Replacement Phase: To resolve the initial claim, the merchant sent a replacement firebox.
Receipt of Replacement: Upon unboxing the replacement part, I discovered:
Safety Hazards: Multiple dangling/unsecured wires that were not present on the original unit.
Incorrect Hardware: The replacement firebox was equipped with the wrong burner, making it incompatible and unsafe to use.
April 28, 2026: I contacted the merchant (Representative) to report that the replacement part was defective and dangerous. The representative claimed this was "supposed to be" the condition of the part and refused further help because a claim had been filed.
Critical Points for the Claim
Gross Negligence: The merchant’s "fix" was more dangerous than the original problem. Sending a replacement firebox with dangling wires and incorrect burners is a severe breach of consumer safety standards.
Merchant Refusal: The merchant is now using the replacement’s failure as a reason to cease communication, rather than taking responsibility for sending a hazardous part.
Please be advised that I am writing to formally document a series of material breaches regarding the purchase and subsequent attempted repair of the Monument Eminence 425 grill.
As of this date, the product remains non-functional, hazardous, and "Significantly Not As Described"
under consumer protection standards.
FACTUAL BACKGROUND & TIMELINE OF NON-CONFORMANCE
Initial Delivery (April 9, 2026): The unit was delivered with defective propane regulators (manufactured by Laite), which was reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Failure of Remedial Action: In an attempt to cure the defect, the merchant shipped a replacement firebox. Upon arrival, this replacement component was found to be in a condition of gross non-conformance, featuring unsecured/dangling internal wiring and an incorrect burner assembly that was incompatible with the model ordered.
Refusal to Cure: On April 28, 2026, I contacted your representative, (customer service manager), to report the hazardous state of the replacement part. The merchant’s agent characterized these electrical and mechanical defects as "standard," which is a direct contradiction of safety protocols and the product's own technical specifications.
He also stated he was doing me a favor. I said excuse me! This is supposed to be under warranty and this has never been used or worked.
Bad Faith Refusal of Service: The merchant has explicitly stated they will no longer assist in resolving this matter due to the initiation of a financial dispute. This constitutes a bad-faith refusal to honor the implied warranty of merchantability.
LEGAL BASES FOR CLAIM
Breach of Implied Warranty of Merchantability: The product is unfit for its ordinary purpose (cooking with gas) due to life-safety hazards including unsecured electrical wiring and incorrect gas delivery components.
*WARNING* DON"T PURCHASE A Monument grill
I purchased a monument grill, I have it on my covered lanai and keep it very clean, after four months the stainless steel doors started to have spots on them, I always use Weiman Stainless steel cleaner and polish, They gave me the runaround and told me it was rust and that is not covered. So I too as another person on here spoke to a Supervisor (Jose) who is programmed to say one thing and is very rude, its clear this company sells junk Don't buy Monument, buy Kitchen aid, I had one for seven years and this never happened. This company is a scam and Lowes is in bed with them

Exceptional stainless steel construction - these materials are built to last without any rust concerns. The only minor issue I've noticed is the gas valve sensitivity with the 90-degree turn design; a 180-degree knob might offer better control. I've marked my 350°F sweet spots on all four burners with a Sharpie for consistent cooking. As someone who grills 4-5 times weekly for my low-carb lifestyle, I've been through several grills over the years. Honestly, I never expected to find this level of durability at this price point. Outstanding value for serious grillers. (Note: I don't use the rotisserie feature, so can't comment on that aspect.
Pro-level performance at a backyard price!
We've been using the Eminence 605 for a few weeks now and it's been absolutely fantastic. The dual transparent viewing windows are a game-changer—you can check on your food without losing heat. Ignition is instant, heat distribution is even, and the six main burners plus side burner give you tons of cooking flexibility. The stainless steel build feels premium and is super easy to clean. Honestly, it outperforms many higher-priced grills on the market. Highly recommended for anyone serious about backyard grilling!
Defective Materials and Poor Service
I bought the Meza 405BZ from Lowe's in 06/2024. Less than a year later, I went through the arduous task of deep cleaning the interior and exterior. After rinsing the exterior with dish soap and water, I followed up with Bar Keeper's Friend to polish the stainless steel. After the final rinse, the stainless steel had what can only be described as "swirl marks" in it. I did another round with Bar Keeper's Friend hoping it would remove the swirl marks but no luck. I reached out to Monument through their website. After several weeks of back and forth emails it became clear they were giving me the run-around. I called them directly and spoke to the supervisor (Jose) was extremely rude and condescending. He said their warranty doesn't cover "discoloration". However, their website as well as the manual clearly state the firebox is covered for 2 years. The grill receive little use and is ALWAYS covered when not in use.
Do NOT BUY
Do NOT BUY, DO NOT Waste your time! I was beyond excited to order the new Eminence 605, but am sadly disappointed now. The grill arrived in a fair amount of time in two big boxes that are pretty heavy. After getting these boxes to my rooftop on the fourth floor and getting over halfway through assembly, I got to the firebox and noticed some issues.
First, there was a large scratch inside. Second, the ends of the firebox were cracked on both sides, and a missing nut attachment made it impossible to screw in the sear section completely. Additionally, a missing clip was required to attach the AC adapter, and some of the pieces were bent.
For a $1400 grill, and almost $2000 with all the accessories I bought, I expect better, but things happen. Contacted Monument, and customer service was apologetic and agreed to send another firebox, no worries, no need to ship anything back, they're taking care of it.
The new firebox arrived 10 days later, and guess what - it's cracked in the same spots as the first. At this point, I'm over it. Although it does not affect the grill's function, my concern is longevity and whether it will rust in those spots, potentially becoming a problem down the road.
Contacted Monument again, this time stating that it has been 21 days since my order, and it's a considerable inconvenience. However, I can either return everything or just offer me a partial refund for the inconvenience, and I will take the risk of keeping the cracked grill. Their offer was $50 off, and they will send some paint to cover the crack, as it does not affect the functionality.
This is not acceptable on a $1400 grill, so I requested a return, only to be told I must have the original boxes and pack it all back up as it was initially, which I no longer have, as I was told on the first issue, "not to worry" and disposed of the boxes. Additionally, assembling the grill took 6 hours; disassembling and repacking it to the original pack would be almost impossible. Return denied.
Now I'm 21 days into this, stuck with a $1,400 cracked grill. I should have gone with what I know, which is Weber. This grill is cool, but I'm now concerned about its durability and how they will stand by their warranty for any issues.
Make your decision wisely before you purchase. Inspect everything down to the last detail before you begin assembly. Otherwise, you'll end up where I am, hours of wasted time and a cracked grill.
For starters I purchased a D610 Denali…
For starters I purchased a D610 Denali but I was missing a cart part and I had to fill out a form and then they said we will get back to you in two till three days. I don’t call that customer service I call that we got your money and we will get to you later. I have never had to wait days for someone to decide when they can send my part. I am totally disgusted and don’t even have my grill together. I will make sure to file a complaint with Consumer Reports since they recommended Monument Grill.
Beware of the parts dept.-I gave them…
Beware of the parts dept.-I gave them the part # for a 4-burner grill igniter & they sent me a 6 burner grill igniter-I guess they expected me to rewire it myself, which I did. I thought it was a specialized part, exclusive to Monument grills, but seems to be a generic replacement which I could have gotten for a much lower price w/free shipping elsewhere.
Less than 3 year old unit purchased…
Less than 3 year old unit purchased from Lowes. Glass View Window useless as it smokes over first use and difficult to clean. Blew a hole in one burner tube. Flame spreaders rusted out. Sent me new burner tubes with integral spark lighters. Impossible to remove face plate
in order to connect spark lighters to switch, so I gave up after three hours of attempted disassembly. Now I have three spark-lit burners and one I have to light with a lighter.
Bad design. Not user serviceable. What good is warranty if user can not replace part?
Weber much better manufacture.
Buy Monuments grills you will be happy
The grill is easy to clean.
Burners are even not much flare up
Enjoy the led lights and sear grill and side burner
Love the grill and pricing very competitive
I have the Denali 605 Pro
I have the Denali 605 Pro. I had a Weber for 10 years. I love the window, all the surface space, the rotisserie, and the look of the drill. The wing holder slots are awesome too. For the price, it is certainly a deal!

Absolutely recommend Monument Grills
Absolutely recommend Monument Grills. I have the black Denali 425 (propane tank) model and love it! Used to be a Charbroil owner (previous three grills) and did a bunch of research on mid-grade gas grills and chose the Denali 425. Assembly was straightforward and easy and grilling experience, temp regulation and consistency has been outstanding. Haven’t quite figured out the temp probes yet and the best spot for placement in different types of meat but overall very happy with my purchase and will be staying with Monument going forward.
