Some basic laymens instructions to get going …

It would be good to have a simple guide to introduce the purchaser to their new equipment.

E.g.I've used an iMac for 18years and this was an upgrade. I spent ages trying to get the screen to scroll as I used to. Finally I found out that moving the finger over the top of the mouse produced the desired effect!

There were a number of other differences that I found too.

iMac gone missing in the post

I sold an iMac via Mresell this was back in 2018 - the iMac did get to its destination no one is taking responsibility neither the delivery company nor Mresell. I have been bounced from one company to another and get really fed up and I am still out of pocket, this complaint has been going on for over 2 years - Mresell stating that they have changed the system I have all the evidence to confirm the sale etc but no one is listening to me - I am a key worker so don’t have money spare to replace the one I lost.

We understand your frustation and we are sorry that this was not solved at the time when it should have been solved in 2018. Since 2019 we have not heard anything about this from your part unfortunately. As we have mentioned we have changed the whole structure and the person who was in charge of this has not been working with us since 2019.

The iMac exceeded my expectations

The iMac exceeded my expectations! No issues with it so do not know what support / guarantee might be like if a problem. I am concerned about other comments suggesting you cannot call them and not responding to messages quickly... Hope I do not need to try...

Waiting for a response to Warranty Issue

We purchased an i7 on 16th December as we needed a machine urgently. We purchased additional warranty as well. The iMac was delivered promptly and was as advertised, however, the charging lead was missing and both the keyboard & mouse were flat so could not use. They promptly sent out a lead & all seemed good. The mac performed daily (Monday-Fridays as a works machine) until last week it no longer will open. Despite repeated calls, no-one takes the landline calls. An online complaint was responded to quickly, but that is all - just an acknowledgement. We have now lost 3 business days without any response or instructions from Mresell as to how this issue will be resolved.
I will report on progress (or otherwise) in due course.
Update 22/02/21
The initial problem was logged 12/02/21 after several attempts at getting support led to the review above, on 16/02/21 some advice and links to perform tests were received. These were carried out. After running these on 17th the mac started and performed normally, but would not start again on the 18th.
Replies to messages are now quicker and arrangements have been made to collect the Mac for investigation. On the strength of that I raise my experience by one star. I understand the additional pressures on businesses but communication is key.
Update 10/03/21
The device was returned and as we had to purchase a replacement device, due to the circumstances and the delay, Mresell agreed to make a full refund. This has now been received. I understand with the Brexit situation, export issues are adding a lot of problems putting pressure on customer services. I have uprated my review accordingly.

…Brilliant service

Sanna at customer services arranged for a refund of the import duty I had to pay to DHL on delivery. It was refunded to my account and will take a few days. The purchased phone is like brand new and we love it. Thank you Sanna and will recommend you. I really hope that the U.K. Brexit changes don’t affect your business. Difficult times.

I had ordered in January so the rules changed. The guys at mResell were fantastic, answered queries, help sort out where my package was and who had. Much more than the courier company would do. I can’t praise them enough. Excellent company to deal with.

Horrendous service

How do you justify having the audacity to even ask for a delivery charge when you expect me to pay for the import?! Logic would clearly dictate that if you couldn’t even get it imported into the country, you won’t be able to deliver the product I paid for to me!

Don't Buy From mResell If You Live In The UK (Not Their Fault!)

The iPad is good and mResell themselves were fine, but I really can't see how they are going to be able to continue operating in the UK thanks to the absolute cluster**** that is Brexit - I had to pay an additional £65 customs fees, nearly a whole fifth of the cost of the iPad on top. It made the total price way too expensive for what I received.

A slow clap for the 52%, now we get to pay more for anything not originating from the UK. Well done!

It was a great experience selling my device to MResell - they offered a great price for my device in the first place, paid the full quoted price when the device was received and answered a couple of questions I had very quickly and thoroughly. They were a pleasure to deal with.

No order Update☹️

Ordered an iPhone XS Max here on 4th of January 2021. Considering there are delays with COVID, I haven’t had any email about an update of the delivery. I contacted my courier and they said they were awaiting missing paperwork from Mresell that would allow the package to move forward in transit, I’ve contacted Mresell and still haven’t had a reply. I’m still currently waiting and would at least like some form of update about my delivery considering it’s alot of money I’ve paid.

I must admit I was wary of sending my…

I must admit I was wary of sending my 27” imac abroad especially when the instructions said to turn off “find my Mac” but everything went very well and I received my agreed sum of money. I would certainly use this company again because they are extremely helpful and have a quick turn around so you are not waiting forever for completion.

Fair, transparent and efficient throughout

I was very impressed. The initial valuation, working through the questions on the website, was really easy, and the price was fair. They emailed the mailing label, informed me when the machine was received, and after checking it in their lab, transferred the money. All very easy. All exactly as promised. When delay on my new machine meant I had to postpone the sale of my old one, they were responsive and it was no problem. I'm very impressed, and would strongly recommend to others.
