No responses to emails for over a month, no delivery updates to my order which was placed back on the 1st June. If you want your money to be taken and to just be ignored then use Mr Teak….

Easy to order, great price and swift delivery.
Bench exactly as we hoped for.

The product -a Blenheim table - was easy to assemble and now looks fabulous in our garden. The service from Mr Teak was excellent and friendly but the actual delivery to my house was something of a nightmare with no help from the driver. I am largely immobile and needed strong men to get it through our gate but the driver did not call me before arrival as promised.

We ordered a garden set at the start of May and were told it was coming. Finally told end of July it would be October.
Absolute rubbish communication unless you post something online. Phone line was cut off after I ordered which should have been a red flag.
Order now cancelled and refunded through credit card as not forthcoming on that either and I’m buying elsewhere
Worst shopping experience ever. Avoid if you can

We didn't realise that the pre-order lead time was going to be so long but the seat arrived by courier after about 6 weeks.
Upon opening the package we discovered that one of the tenons on the seat back had been damaged, probably in the factory and would not fit into the mortise.
I emailed them and explained the situation. The response was that it could be made to fit along withsome pva glue and wasn't vital to the structural integrity.
As compensation we were offered a seat cushion which we agreed to.

My brother in law subsequently squeezed a lot of pva glue into the cracked wood and clamped up tightly for 24hrs which did the trick. We were then able to complete assembly of the seat and Mum is very pleased with it.

The seat was ok but the assembly instructions were confusing and the letters used to identify individual parts were clearly incorrect.

These are lovely benches, but I think there is a need to improve notification about back orders. Also there was a minor issue about the four screws provided not being long enough, but we bought some that were longer locally. All in all, I could only give four stars.

As it says on the advert. One point to make assembly easier. In the assembly component list each item is identified by letters. On the wood components they have stickers with letter's on i.e. A to A, B to B and so on. But it doesn't highlight this in the instructions.

Arrived on time and was quite straight forward to put together.

Lovely garden bench. Well made. Would have had 5 stars but delivery took ages. When queried delivery, response was very quick.

The only reason to give this company any stars at all, is that the lady who answers their telephone is helpful and seems able to chivvy her colleagues into action. Aside from her help, there are no aspects of this company, its suppliers and logistics partner that don't need radically shaking up. The logistics company actual logistics are laughable, their "Help Bot" is completely pointless and their performance standards are way, way below par for the industry. Even Royal Mail now give 2-hour delivery "windows", whilst FedEx seem to think that between 8am and 6pm is an acceptable delivery time [and then don't even hit that].
The manufacturer of the product failed in three levels. The bench was broken and very visibly so. That means the builder passed it to the QC knowing it was broken, the QC-er passed it to the packaging department knowing it was broken and the packing operative packed and despatched it knowing it was broken.
Once the bench arrived with me, Mr Teak failed to answer multiple e-mails regarding the broken bench. Eventually, they made an offer of a 10% discount if I'd like to repair the bench myself! I suggested that a 50% discount might be more appropriate but, of course, got no response to that suggestion.
Eventually, I gave up all thoughts of a sensible discount and the prospect of getting a suitably inspected replacement and asked for a full refund. The Customer Service department did respond to that e-mail but failed to respond to any of many e-mails from me asking if they could confirm a particular day for collection. They completely ignored those e-mails until I reached out to the helpful lady on the telephone again. Even that took two go's at getting her colleagues to respond to me.
Lastly, of course, the refund wasn't forthcoming until I again pestered the helpful lady on the telephone, who, in turn, pestered her colleagues into processing the refund.
There are no circumstances under which I would do business with this company again. They need a massive reorganisation.

Good product,good delivery and fair price

Took longer than I had anticipated to receive the order, but when it did finally arrive was delighted with the Teak bench and the value for money.

The previous bench of this type lasted us 25 years, but cost £100 more, so I wasn't expecting too much. The bench on ispection had a chip out of one of the side arm top rails - but this was not a problem - a bit of filler sorted it as I was painting it anyway. Assembly was relatively easy - I'm 83 and not a big bloke, but I managed it on my own. Screws and bolts supplied were not long enough, apart from that everything slotted together without too much trouble.

Mr Teak bench is very well made and is very good on the eye however i did notice glue on the base of the spines hence why i have done 4 stars.

Teak chair was just what we needed and at a good price too.

Exactly as advertised, love it.

Tom and staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent service. Good quality product. Easy to assemble. Would recommend.
