Munster Joinery Avis

We bought a new house 3 years ago.
Munster Joinery supplied Penny Farthing the windows and doors.
We have had catches on windows break, mainly kitchen and bathroom that are used most for ventilation .
Our front door is a major issue. We reported this to Penny Farthing who gave us Munster Joinery contact details.
The door is cracked all over, like an egg tapped by a spoon.....This level of quality after 3 years is unacceptable. We have been advised the warranty on the door is 5 years.
We have also been advised that the issue has happened as door wasn't sealed.
However Munster Joinery wont visit and access the damage to door or contact us. No reply to emails and requests for a visit.
They advised we need to rub the front door down and paint it??? A 3 year old door and it's not wood...
We are frustrated and upset, we feel let down. How can this be normal for a front door after 3 years? The focal point of a home.
Makes us query the actually quality of the front door..
Unfortunately due to our experience, we would not recommend Munster Joinery products or service as we have had none....

We were replacing the windows in the front of the house and were dealing with Sean Barrington. Sean was very precise in his dealings, making several visits to ensure accuracy.
When the windows were being installed everything went to plan and there was no problems. I would recommend Munster joinery.

All good. Ordered and they came within 3 weeks. Simple professional and fast. No problems from start to finish. Very happy.

After contacting munster joinery, about a refit thier rep Therese Fitzgerald contacted us to arrange a house visit. She explained all options open to us,even had a example of new frames ,after that munster joi nery delivered on day arranged followed days later by sean carmody and his excellent crew.the plastering finish around windows and doors was to a very high standard. From the time the first phone call was made everything went like clockwork.

Ronan O Hare was my rep for the renovation project currently under construction. Ronan was extremely helpful from the 1st phone call to meeting up and running through the options with budget quotes and the doing final measuring and submission of the order to head office. Everything was well prepared and we received our delivery of windows/doors circa 3 weeks after order which was Brillant. Overall very happy to date with the Munster joinery service and product and dealing with Ronan was a really easy process.

Great experience from start to finish, Stephanie M was amazing throughout, she was on hand to answer any questions we had and she has a wealth of knowledge too. The products were great as well , looking forward to looking at them for years to come

Adrian o keefe was our representative who measured, discussed, quoted and came back to us to ensure we were ordering what we required, he and the entire munster joinery team were extremely helpful during ordering and fitting of our replacement windows, we have no hesitation in recommending munster joinery we were delighted with the entire process.

I got the full house upgraded with Munster Joinery windows and doors, half in 2025 and half in 2026. In both cases they were excellent at all stages of the process. I was very happy with quality, service and value. Stephanie, in the Kells area, organised the process for us very well and explained all the issues.

Quickly provided a competitive quote, Informed me of the date of installation and they then came on that date and installed them without any glitches. The Local Rep Adrian O'Keeffe was great to deal with. Would recomend Munster Joinery

We just got new windows fitted and the whole experience was brilliant. The company was really easy to deal with from day one. Colm Daly was really knowledgeable, patient and he listened to what we wanted, walked us through the best options and kept us in the loop the whole time. The installation went down without a hitch, and the new windows look amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We would highly recommend Munster Joinery for the service we received. We have been really well looked after by Martin from consultation to follow-up after fitting. And the fitting team were excellent.

Quality delivery from start to finish. James Hickey was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with our self build. Lead time for windows and doors was only two weeks and great prices also.

James Hickey was fantastic from start to end. Would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable & helpful especially since we had plenty of questions around ICF.

Top marks to Colm Daly our first point of contact with Munster Joinery, he was so helpful and knew what he was talking about giving very helpful tips regarding window styles, I couldn’t say enough about the gentlemen who fitted our windows - Liam, Danny and another man whose name escapes me - very friendly, helpful & efficient, excellent at their job, they did a great job, no broken tiles, all gaps filled in so well, cleaned up very well afterwards and we have beautiful new windows,
Chloe in the office was also very helpful
I’m just waiting for our grant application form to be filled in and signed off and I hope the efficiency I’ve experienced thus far will continue with regards to that

Very straightforward and a quick turn around from measuring to fitting. All went smoothly thanks to James hickey

Sean BRERETON was v knowledgeable, easy to deal with and patiently answered all my queries. I was really impressed with the service provided by him. Would recommend Munster joinery to anyone going on my experience.

Very Happy with Windows we purchased from sales Rep Niall !
Excellent service and communication throughout! Couldn’t recommend Niall or Munster Joinery enough

If I could give zero stars I would. Waited 18 weeks for windows to have half installed. Wrong measurements for the other half and they won’t provide us with a date for the remaining installation and it’s now two weeks later. Non existent customer service. Had heard extremely poor things about this company prior to using them however reviews online seemed okay so decided to go with them as prices seemed a bit lower but raging we didn’t pick another company now.

Ordered a composite door from Munster Joinery through Brian O'Dywer. The door is of extremely quality and the tradesmen worked efficiently to replace a 30 year old door and install the new one with very little disruption. Would highly recommend Munster Joinery.

Excellent service all round….
Robert did an amazing job sorting everything out…
Delighted with my 10 new windows
Would highly recommend
