Refuse to listen to reality

Couldn't tell you how many times I've answered the phone or informed them that I'm not the person they think I am, nor have I ever someone with that name.
Now today, I had received FIVE identical texts so once again, I go to their website to tell them that it's the wrong number.
I then get a sixthte text of the day! Absolute joke. This is literally harassment at this point...

The gentlemani spoke with was so lovely. He was extremely kind & made my worry disappear.
I’m very unwell at the moment. I’m having to rely on benefits. He suggested people that can be helpful in my situation He was very understanding & it was a different experience than I expected.
He is a credit to the company.
Because I said I could pay in full if they give me a discount I was gratefully given 25% off!
That’s another unnecessary worry out of the way.
I say thank you again to him & sorry I don’t remember his name

False claims!

According to EPFS, I owed money in the region of £12.47 to EE. I phoned EE to query this phantom charge. After a lot of digging into my account, the very kind gent from EE informed me that there is no debt or outstanding charge on my account. EPFS have been harassing me with phone calls and emails. EPFS are scam artists! DO NOT engage with them!

Good experience if you have to deal with them…

The agent I spoke to was very professional and listened to what I had to say. He was very polite and definitely a credit to the company. I received several texts reminding me to call them, and when they called and I was busy they were polite and apologised for the disturbance. When I got their letter I scanned the QR code and got onto the correct part of the website easily and made an agreement to pay which was done with out too much back and forth as I agreed to pay a sensible amount and the website agreed to it and went on to set up a direct debit mandate etc. easy and painless process. Highly recommend this stress free method.

These days Debt collection services are polite, respectful, and ultimately much more usable. I’m very grateful for this.

Broken website and dishonest fees

Their payment system was a nightmare errors, glitches, and no confirmation that my payment went through. Suddenly, I received a random "payment identification number" with no explanation.

When I called customer service, the agent cut me off, put me on hold for 15 minutes, and then dropped the call. It took multiple attempts to finally settle this tiny amount, wasting my time and causing unnecessary stress.

We are sorry to hear you had issues with our website. We will raise this issue and your concern about being cut off, as well as the hold time for a complaint investigation, as this does not meet the service standards we hold ourselves to. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

Regarding fees, please note that at EPFS, we do not add any fees or interest to the balances we receive. Should a late payment fee be applicable, this will be part of the creditor’s terms and conditions, and any payment collected on the fee is returned to the creditor.

Once the complaint investigation is complete, we will issue a letter with full details to the address we have registered against the account.

Very professional

Very professional, polite, caring and empathetic. They checked to make sure you had enough to live on and payment plans are available. I didn’t need this as I paid the bill in full. Only missed one payment with Plusnet due to poor health. All sorted now.
It was a pleasure talking to them.
