Think I’ve found the best Indian food!
Having been disappointed in the past with ready prepared Indian meals and them not living up to expectations, I gave these guys a go. Wow! What a difference - this food is really devine and very authentic tasting. Both meat and vegetarian options are so very tasty and full of flavour. I am so happy to have found this source of Indian deliciousness. There is a good selection to chose from too. I am a big fan and have recommended them to my friends. So very good which is why I keep coming back.

a bit mixed
Some very nice dishes - bhajis, parathas, pork belly (in spite of a couple of cubes of fat). The other veggie dishes were a bit disappointing, especially for Indian food - notably the Paneer dish, which was a quite small amount of cheese and a large amount of what tasted like tomato soup.

Not been here before, great find
Not been here before, found it near top tiles in Taunton. Brought two mains and rice, really good price. Flavours were not to disappoint. Really lovely curries, smelt fantastic and tasted even better. So good to have found somewhere that cooks south indian dishes.

All items I ordered were very tasty . But Railway Lamb Curry and Grandmas Fish curry stood out.

A little disappointed
The meals were fine. From the description, we expected something more like the 'Cook Shop' style, e.g. a genuinely home-cooked vibe, perhaps including a note on the packaging showing who cooked it, at what time etc.... evidence that it is carefully cooked in small batches. I was surprised that proper coconut milk is not used, but rather a processed/powdered form or similar reconstituted form. For small batches, I was hoping for a recipe that I would use at home. The cooking times in the microwave were underestimated for us - it took far longer at a higher wattage. There seemed to be a lot of packaging for the environmental promotion of the company. Probably won't go for it again. Good idea, but not quite there with the execution yet.

Thank you for the ideas about sharing more of this 'home cooked vibe' with customers as part of the delivery box, and the idea about recipe cards - definitely food for thought.
As far as packaging is concerned, we need to ensure that orders reach customers fully frozen so we do need to use robust thermo packaging, but as this is all cardboard based, it can be recycled easily. The film on the top of the lids and the freezer pouches can be recycled with soft plastics, and the cardboard base of our compostable containers is made from 95% recycled paper pulp - hope this helps.
What’s not to like..
