Thank you for taking the time to provide your further comments. I am sorry that the level of contact you received caused you frustration, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify our previous response.
Firstly, I would like to reassure you that our Final Response did not state that we had only attempted to contact you twice. Our letter explained that our records showed two attempted calls on 9 October 2026, followed by one attempted call on each of 10 October, 12 October and 13 October 2026. We also confirmed that none of these calls were answered.
Our letter also explained that, where we have been unable to establish contact following an enquiry, our representatives may make further contact attempts at different times. However, once an individual advises us that they no longer wish to proceed with their enquiry, we will close the case, and no further contact attempts will be made.
I appreciate your concern that you continued to receive calls despite your subsequent request for contact to stop. To provide some further context, our Complaints Team was first made aware of your complaint at 12:15pm on 13 October 2026, which was after the final call you received from us that day. As such, the call had already taken place before the Complaints Team became aware of your concerns.
Unfortunately, as none of our earlier calls were answered, we did not have the opportunity during those conversations to establish that you no longer wished to proceed with your enquiry. Had we been able to speak with you and you had advised us that you no longer wished to continue, we would have been able to update our records and cease further contact at that point, in line with the process outlined in our Final Response.
Nevertheless, I fully appreciate that receiving repeated calls can be frustrating when you no longer wish to progress an enquiry. As a result of your complaint, your details have now been removed from our system, and I hope this provides reassurance that your request has now been acted upon.
I am sorry for the frustration this matter has caused. I hope the additional context above helps to clarify the sequence of events and our previous response.

Don’t think they want to sell annuities
Spoke to someone today about a possible Annuity and asked the rates. Said 3k per 100k approx on the info I provided . Completely wrong after looking into it. Think annuities aren’t something they want to sell. Very poor show.
