A Daily Habit That Actually Helps

Shapa has been a great tool for staying aware of my health in a simple, sustainable way. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the daily weigh-ins help keep healthy habits on my radar without feeling obsessive or discouraging. Instead of avoiding the scale, it actually encourages consistency and awareness. The added incentive of earning Vitality rewards is a nice bonus that keeps me motivated to stay on track. Overall, it’s a straightforward, encouraging system that makes it easier to stay mindful about health every day.

monthly cost not worth it and poor customer service

I used the scale years ago and recently got a new scale and rejoined the app. The app has no new changes in years. It looks outdated and for the monthly price you don't get many features. I have emailed 3 times asking if I can resent my achievements since I am starting over but have received zero replies back. So customer service is poor. I wanted the brown scale but only the black scale was available. I like the scale and seeing a color trend instead of weight but at some point I will switch back to a regular scale because the monthly price for so little in return is not worth it.

Selling such a beautiful product and…

Selling such a beautiful product and worst ever customer service and handling . despite their lack of ability to deliver the product in 6 months . These guys have audacity to say we dont refund but can issue you a coupon . shame on customer service executive . poorest of ever service

Disappointing. Shows little to no data at all.

Ordered an oak colored scale but received a black on. A month later, it is still not sorted out. The scale is adverstised as "numberless", but I am a bit disappointed at how numberless it is. Since it scans body composition, I thought it might show, or at least give the option to show, body fat percentage but you have to request that information from customer support. The app is pitiful considering you have to pay for a subscription to use it.

Subscription

Our first Shapa was under my ex-husbands name. Everything was transferred to me about 5-6 years ago after he left our company (we later divorced).

Every year, it seems we struggle to fix the problem with getting his name off of the device (even emails). Renewals/subscriptions are a problem also. I even purchased a new Shapa scale to prevent this but still continue to struggle!

I renewed my Shapa subscription on Vitality in Dec 2025, but my app tells me that I still need to renew. My subscription email was sent to my work email, but also my ex-husbands personal email.

I did send 2 emails now about this to the company, with still no reply. Maybe its due to the holidays or plant shut down, but it's rather frustrating. No out-of-office replies were sent, so I assume someone was there to help.

I used to refer Shapa to everyone we knew - now not so much. They hear my frustrations and complaints. I'm not sure I will waste my money on Shapa going forward. Time will tell.
