BEWARE - They rent illegal storage locations and make you move!

I put my boat & RV into a Neighbor.com location and the owner got a letter one month later (from the city) saying all RVs, boats, etc had to be removed. I had left my rv & boat in FL and went to NE for the summer. Neighbor.com refused to help and said the owner of the property was responsible. The owner of the property was also unable/unwilling to help even after I explained that I needed storage for 6 more months and had no way to move my items from half a country away with no truck in FL. DO NOT USE NEIGHBOR.COM!

Francie was so easy to work with. She kept in touch with us to make sure we had no questions, and she followed through on everything she said would happen. Can I give her 6 stars?

First time here using the app, everythworked out well.. nice host, plenty of space.

Safe place to be at

As expensive as a commercial secure lot, then they make you buy insurance even if you have it.

Very interesting and helpful platform, a great idea. BUT...certain types of reservations, like driveways, are susceptible to fraudulent listings. With listers hidden behind Neighbor.com's AirBNB-like messaging system, it can be impossible to verify that an outdoor storage space list is legitimate, unless it can be independently verified with property ownership records. I was almost scammed by someone on this platform; if there had not already been 2 vehicles in the driveway I reserved when I arrived, I might have been accused of trespassing or squatting and my vehicle towed to God-Knows-Where. Neighbor.com refunded my payment "as an exception", but I can't see using them again until they can adequately address the risk of fraudulent listings.

This service is great, found a location within 5 miles from me, was amazed how many locations there were...

Anytime someone reaches out to inquire about one of my rental spaces. even if I cannot accommodate them. I always refer them to customer service; it's likely the best customer service app I've dealt with.

I had no issues with accessing or with the security of my trailer while it was on is property. I couldn't mention any reason a person would choose not to rent with him unless the price was out of budget. On that note, the monthly rate was fair.
