Beautiful candle

£25 is alot for a small candle and more…
This candle has had a price increase from £25 to £30 which is very expensive for a small candle. I have emailed the owner as to what percentage is going to charity for addicts. His reply was that no money was going to charity currently and with the price increase is therefore inappropriate as the whole selling point of the candle is the donation to charity

It’s disappointing to see this review edited three times, each with a completely different reason for dissatisfaction. First, it was about the colour, then the size and price, then the charitable donation. Now, after we announced that our introductory offer will end in one months time, you’ve lowered your rating again.
To clarify once more: a portion of sales from each candle is set aside for our annual donation to a carefully selected addiction charity. At the end of each year, we will assess which charity in Scotland we feel is most deserving, as well as taking into account charities that helped me along my own journey.
We have only been in business for four months, so at this stage, our first annual donation has not yet been made. However, we have been putting money aside in a savings account, which is currently sitting at over £300. This will continue to grow as the year goes on, and the more successful Nera becomes, the more we will be able to contribute to charity!
The price increase to £30 marks the end of our introductory offer and will take effect at the beginning of April. You purchased a candle on 3rd February, during the introductory offer at £25, knowing both the size and price beforehand, as these details are clearly stated on our website. We think it is unfair to base your review off a future price increase that has not yet happened yet. You purchased your candle 2 months before the price increase.
Our prices reflect the true cost of producing a luxury, handcrafted product. Quality is at the heart of what we do, because in recovery, we learn that taking time and effort to create something meaningful is far more valuable than taking shortcuts.
I stand by the integrity of my business and the quality of my product. If you have any further concerns, I encourage you to reach out directly rather than continuously changing your review to find new reasons to justify your rating.

Braw candles
Prompt delivery, classy packaging & a nice handwritten thank you. Scents are strong & aromatic. I ordered 3 candles & will be ordering more to use as prizes for my animal rescue group's raffles. The candles are on a par with more well known brands at a lesser cost, and they seem to be burning more evenly than some more expensive candles I've purchased. I'm very fussy about my candles & delighted I've come across these. Some proceeds go to a good cause which is important to me also.
