Walked in to Drum Monkey Glasgow warm welcome and as table service only TT done taken to clean table. Table service nice drinks perfect and service with a smile. Nice food

An absolute disgrace. Just because it's Friday pints went up by 2
58p. Shameful, greedy and despicable. They are going the way of O'Neil's in London. Becoming a disaster and certainly bring the hospitality industry into disrepute. Their corporate management should hang their heads in shame for their greedy and amateurish way of ripping off the punters. It's mo wonder that Wetherspoon pubs are so much more popular now.

Booked at the philharmonic in Liverpool weeks earlier, we sat at our booked table for over an hour, everyone else around us where being served, when we asked the waiter where our food was, he went to check, came back and said sorry it will be at least another hour, or hour and a half, we only ordered burgers, we had to leave for our concert, absolutely disgusted and wouldn’t ever return

I regularly go to The Victoria Comet. Very reasonably priced and staff friendly and helpful.

The Feathers, 18-20 Broadway, SW1H 0BH. Fab old pub, great decor, what a shame our Sunday dining experience was spoiled by totally disinterested staff who quite frankly did not give a toss,and seemed to regard paying customers as a disagreeable inconvenience. Fairly average food, with the exception of the fish and chips, which was revolting. The batter was way too thick, and had an unpleasant texture. Crispy batter is more traditional, and would have been far nicer. The pub was not busy, so why did I have to clear our dirty plates to a side table where they sat for over half an hour ? Nobody asked how our food was (as if they cared). Glasses on our table (and others) were not cleared the entire time we were there - nearly 2 hours. Nobody greeted us when we arrived, and nobody acknowledged us when we left, they were too busy gossiping, or on their phones. Very disheartening experience. Some lovely American guests were asking about menu items, and I cringed internally at the lackadaisical way they were treated by Nicolsons staff. I have run bars and restaurants, and if any of my reports had behaved like this, they would be on attitude and performance training pronto. Very, very disappointing overall.

The staff are very friendly and I always eat here when in York. Unfortunately this time the food was very average..the steak that was in the steak and ale pie was very fatty and disappointing. The buttermilk chicken pie had 2 pieces of chicken inside.

Oh my dear - what a dreary place - and I paid £8 for bits of smoked salmon and a limp piece of lettuce - all delivered in monochrome - come on chaps - chop chop - get some pride behind your delivery please

The food is Amazing,specially the bar snacks like Hollumi fries and Loaded chips.The team provides excellent service 👌! I hope they will be Recognised by the company for their hard work every day working in Masks, which is must be very very difficult!

Conan Doyle Edinburgh just finished meal, main pudding two large glasses of wine just over £23.00 food fresh and lovely delicious wine. Staff lovely professional and pleasant, will be back next time in Edinburgh 🏅🏅🏅

What a fabulous pub, traditional setting with amazing food. Their Pies have won awards and i can see why, having sampled a number of dishes on their menu (Toad in the Hole, Burgers, Sandwiches etc) I've always been impressed with the quality and portion sizes.

The staff are very welcoming and attentive as well.

Re Crown Bar restaurant Belfast
Service very slow staff not friendly making you wait for a table when restaurant half empty for no reason. When seated we were again made to wait before serving us.
Frist impressions not good.

Disappointed to find the Eagle & Child, Oxford, had no craft/proper beer yesterday and the conditions in men’s toilets were pretty dire.
First time had such a poor experience in this pub. Would have mentioned to staff but had to leave quickly and they had a high volume of customers to deal with. Have loved this venue over many years so a great pity. Hope it is back to its best next time?

Went into the Swan in Hammersmith on Friday only to find all the beer was increase in price by 25p on the pint! Was informed by the staff that this was Nicholson's "event pricing". There was no event.
This might be acceptable at Christmas or New Year but not at any other time. Totally dishonest and demonstrates not only the obvious greed of this company, but their total disregard for their customers.
Complaint sent to Jake Berry MP and copied to the BBPA and CAMRA.

Great value at The Conan Doyle

We are never disappointed with the quality of the food ,service and beer at this recently refurbished pub.

Just had a long weekend in Edinburgh and found that the Kenilworth in Rose Street to be very good indeed.
The beer is very well presented, the bar staff offering me a small sample before I ordered a pint which proves to me that they are proud of what they sell.
The food also is of a very high standard.
The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

The beer was pretty nice, they have over 12 cask beers. We ordered 2 burgers but they were very bad. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

That is one place i will never go again :/ went in for snack and drink seating area at back asked for a table then after we orderd was told we are not allowed to eat a starter here just main course "their were no signs anywhere to explain this just food area." the waitress told us we had to sit down stairs so i told her i can't use stairs walking stick at my side and was told very rudely why when i said i have bad led one leg do not bend still went on and said you can sit down stairs even my mate told her a few times can't use stairs she is disabled the waitress looked at me up and own and continued to try get us down stairs in the end my mate asked for manager as she could see i was getting upset after waiting 10min she come back without manager and said sorry if we sit we can have a drink on her,i wanted to go my mate said stay so we sat back down. made our order then 20min later brought only one order up and said they can't make the second it is off the menu =/ but said my mate could eat to garlic bread instead of a meal lol shocking!! so i finished my nachos which takes seconds to make and kept getting stared at by staff the manager come up to tables around us a few time would not make eye contact i felt really uncomfortable. So downed my drink and asked for bill so i could get out of there. fair play even though the waitress gave attitude and evils she kept her promise and gave us the drink but it does not count for the total embarrassment i felt as a disabled person just wanting a good time in london completely ruined my night. To top it off 2 young ladies were seated next to us most tables were empty they had just as bad treatment after ordering 1 meal and a few drinks the waitress served everyone that come in after them they had food just as we were leaving and were about to leave themselves the service was so disgraceful.
