So far, we are unimpressed. We paid for the pro plus survey expecting the report within 2-3 days. We are on day 3 (the report has not arrived yet after making 4 phone calls, all assuring me the report would be with me today) and still no report. I appreciate that delays can happen but this is holding up our purchase. Do not offer a service within a time frame and then fail to provide.

Whenever I spoke to somebody on the phone, they were helpful and promised to follow up and let me know what communication was going on so all is not lost but I really do not appreciate the dishonesty in advertising of the timeframe.

After being told the report would be sent over by the end of the day and still not having it in my inbox by 7pm. Quick enough to call and email multiple times before the service but slow to follow up once the money has changed hands.

It's early stages in the process for us but the initial service we received from Zack Tarling, Sales Manager has been exceptional. I contacted Novello to request a house survey quote and within an hour had a call back from Zack, who outlined the differences in the survey levels and clarified any areas of concern we would like to have addressed through the report. Zack followed this up with a same day email of the quote and an easy booking link. I did contact other Chartered Surveyors on the same day to request comparative quotes, but only one responded, 4 days later and much higher rates. Through my search of reviews, Novello were my original preferred choice anyway, so I made the decision not to wait for the additional quote and have booked Novello today. First impressions are very high and off to a good start.

After gathering quotes from a number of other Surveyor services in the area I was blown away with the affordability of Novello, cheaper than others around the area and great customer care from first contact.

Our Surveyor was David C who was honestly way beyond our expectations. The survey report was of an extremely high standard and was broken down in a very accessible way. On top of that David would always make himself available to run through the report and answer any questions we had and was happy to offer his personal opinion or advice. The turnaround time was very quick both times, with David delivering prior to the agreed timeline.

Even in the first instance when speaking with Raymond upon booking our survey the customer care was really above and beyond, casual, friendly and reassuring.

We were originally going to instruct Novello for a Level 3 Plus survey. We advised that we were still waiting for our mortgage offer. We had several calls and emails from the sales representative chasing us for our response after repeatedly advising them that we would get in touch once we received our offer. On the third or fourth contact, we asked them to remove our details from the contact list as their chasers were becoming very annoying, pushy and demanding. The sales rep confirmed our details were removed. I have now just received yet another call and another email from the same person asking for an update. This company has been spamming us and bothering us non-stop and has acted completely unprofessionally to the point that we would never instruct them for a survey. Please stop contacting us. Thank you.

Ahsan provided clarity on the condition of the property; I would highly recommend this service. I recommend the drone survey as it provided great information regarding the condition of roofing. Overall this experience has been brilliant.

very prompt survey and very thorough. Ryan must be working very hard. Survey 19th March, prompt report and able to have conversation with Ryan and replies to emails are prompt. Helpful in exchanges with vendor of the property we hope to buy. Vendor shocked that surveyor spent 6 hrs at the property and disagrees with some of the findings. This is good ammunition for us in negotiations. Thank you for your thoroughness!

Very detailed survey (level 3), including drone shots. Surveyor was open to follow-up calls, which helped to better understand the defects raised in the report. Report was completed in timely manner.

Arranging a survey was quick and easy. The survey was carried out in a timely manner and the report was issued the next day. Lee Hodgson, who carried out the survey, was on hand to answer any questions and was polite, informative and a pleasure to talk to. Would happily recommend them!

I’m really disappointed with the service from Novello Surveyors.

I paid upfront for a Level 3 survey, which was completed yesterday. Well, I assume it was, I’m yet to have any confirmation. As stated on their website, I was supposed to receive a call after the survey to go through the main findings before the full report - this never happened.

I had to chase multiple times the next morning, and despite explaining I wasn’t asking for the report (just the promised call), I was given inconsistent responses. There was no proactive communication.

I spoke to Lucy, whose attitude was dismissive, unprofessional and lacked any sense of accountability. I couldn’t be assured that I’d get the call today. There was no apology until I pushed for one, and even then it didn’t feel genuine.

Overall, poor communication and a failure to deliver a key part of the service I paid for.

Had zero issues with Novello from first getting my quote to the day of the Survey. Danny Price was great, gave me a call on the way to the property and following the surveys completion. Report following was exactly what was needed good detail provided.

Danny was really informative, he called on the day that he went to survey the house and later when I wanted some clarification on a couple of things he was more than happy to discuss them with me and talk me through his findings.

We paid for a survey to be completed on the Monday and it had been booked and completed by the Wednesday. The report came back the following Monday which was incredibly quick! The report is very thorough and informative, exactly what we need. We would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks!

Lily the person who did my survey was fantastic. She was helpful and really good, and happy to go above and beyond.

My only gripe is that I feel Novello is super response when you are trying to book with them, but after the job is done they are slow to respond. I feel like they can improve their post survey communication

Novello were very helpful on giving us a level 3 pro survery for a house we are looking to purchase in watford. They booked in the survey the next day we paid. The report was very detailed and gave us new information on things we didnt even noticed when we went to see the property. they did a 4k drone of the roof , this notified us of the moss build up in the valleys of the roof. we recieved a 48 page report showing us clear pictures and advise. Ali was very helpful. thank you.

I recently had a house survey done with Novello, and Rafaquat carried out a Level 3 survey. He explained all the findings clearly and in simple terms, which made everything much easier to understand. I also had a follow-up call with him to go through some of the details and recommended remedial actions, he was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly.

Overall, I had a great experience. I highly rate Novello and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
