This company as come a long way in the last 3/4 months. i bought a sim via RWG mobile which used Now ie /EE about 2 years ago. it was a bit hit and miss at first. the calls took a long time to connect and sometimes did not connect. i gave up at the end,i had about £4 credit on the sim card in a old phone and one day last week i turned the phone on i could not belive the sim was still active and i was on 5G .with wifi calling and volite (4g calling all active ) so i went to make a call .And it was ringing before i put it to my ear i am always looking at the best sim only deals i have saved my friends lots of money they call me the Sim only Specialist lol .so take a look at Now Mobile not Many let you do a £2,50 topup these days and they seem to have excellent uk customer service well done to you all involved

For my wife its worse because she does not have a bundle so she just wants to know her balance but when dialling 669 it just cuts off. Also cant use texts to get answers either! Fed up and both ready to move to another mobile company!

I have been a RWG customer for 3 years with no cause for complaint until now. RWG has been taken over by NOW mobile. I haven't had cause to complain until now..
I lost signal about a week ago, and having received no reply to my emails sent to both suppliers I have been calling the NOW mobile customer services. Each time I have been on hold anywhere between 5-20 minutes and when the phone is answered I get the same excuse 'we are improving our network and as soon as this has been completed service will resume, when I ask when this will be the same response is made 'tomorrow'. It appears that NOW mobile haven't heard that 'tomorrow never comes'!
Is there anyone in NOW mobile UK that can explain why I cannot get a signal and what you are actually doing to rectify this problem.
A reply from NOW mobile told me I was complaining about the wrong company. I am NOT. I'm a RWG customer who are now owned by NOW mobile. Going into the second week without a signal on my phone, I would go to another provider except that NOW has over £20.00 in credit of mine.
This morning I received an email to say they replied to my review but I cannot see anything.

However, when I contact customer service for help in this matter my call is redirected to NOW mobile customer services hence when I say that no one is doing anything I refer to NOW mobile customer services. Since my last post I went online, (30th March), NOW mobile chat and talked to a lady called Sam who said she would send me a new SIM to determine whether the problem is damage to my current SIM, as yet this has not been received. This will be a month or more with no signal from my NOW mobile SIM. I am waiting for a very important hospital appt which I hope I have not missed. If NOW mobile cannot supply a new SIM then please supply PAC number and a refund of my phone credit so I can go to another supplier.
Finally today I have a signal with a new sim sent after I contacted NOW mobile online chat service. Why the call centre could not have sent me one 5 weeks ago I dont know. But at last problem resolved and I'm happy

Was tempted by good deals and signal coverage by EE, which is great where I live, but they dont care about their customers, old and new.
Been trying to order a sim card and create an account since January. The verification code never arrived even after following the steps provided me by their advisor through a live chat. They told me they sent the details over to the relevant team to fix the issue as the app has the same exact problem and I was told to keep checking their live chat every day for an update. All I get is lies that there’s maintenance going on and it should all be resolved by the end of day. Going with that logic, that maintenance would be going on for 2 months now.
I gave up today. If there’s so many issues before I even got a sim card I’m scared to think what would happen if I wanted to leave their network - would probably never receive the PAC.
They dont care that new customers cant even sign up or order a sim card so its obvious they wont care if there’s an issue for people who already have their sim card. Clear message that with this attitude this company wont last long so to those who are their customers - switch now and avoid yourselves trouble in the future.

Had rwg SIM now it's now mobile that gave me 50 minutes free every month and now I can't phone out. It says you have no credit. When I never needed to top up as it was lifetime free 50 minutes. I am not dead so why have my minutes now disappeared. Can't get hold of them to get resolved. i have emailed them no reply. now is not the name on my mobile connection so you should fix it

Have tried requesting PAC since Monday 16th March via website, SMS, online chat and calling. All failed to provide PAC.
Under Ofcom General Condition C7, they are required to provide a PAC within two hours.
Ofcom also informs you that "Server updates" are not a valid reason for delay.
Under ofcom General condition C7.36 , requests for PAC to be provided no later than one minute (via text) or two hours (via phone).
Calling them, I'm told they can't provide PAC due to server update. Asked for this to be considered as a complaint , they can't give be a complaint reference number. Ofcom is the next step
Response from Now Mobile not acceptable, and as advised by Ofcom raising dispute with relevant ombudsman.
Response received by email (with PAC) I've responded back to Now Mobile as it did not address my complaint fully

Their email and phone helplines are unresponsive - emails go unanswered, and the phoneline doesn't connect.
And now, after trying to claim my review was about a different network (not true), they have commented on this review saying I'm welcome to contact their helpline or live chat... as if this isn't exactly what I've been trying to do, and what has been completely unresponsive!

I was with Joe today. He was super helpful. I wasn't able to change the password to get logged in. In a matter of 15 minutes, I changed the password, logged in, made a verification for my email, confirmed plan, switched my number. Thanks a lot... I mean, peace of mind.. thanks again ..

Required a new SIM card to reactivate a number on RWG PAYG. Emails were unresponded to. The new contact number went through to Now Mobile on each occasion the operator claimed they were struggling to hear me due to a poor line (I tested it by leaving myself a voicemail and it was fine?!). Thereafter, after checking the poor reviews on here, followed advice and directly messaged Now Mobile via the webside instead. Over three sessions they were helpful, I was able to get a replacement SIM & they had this connected to Now Mobile. Wouldn't call them again though would have no hesitation using the helpful direct messaging service based on my experience.

Good things about Now mobile is that they take some mobile vouchers, and also have a £2.50 plan for light users.
However, according to my phone, eg. I used 29.69 MB half way the month, taking into account that data saver is on and most app have restricted usage, that I mostly tether or use WiFi, all of sudden my 1 GB is gone! And their app doesn't seem to display data usage wherever I tap, so you don't have a clue where your data is gone.
How data charges is calculated is anyone guess, text calls only displays one week usage only.
For some unknown and clearly unfair reasons, I don't get the extra GB for auto-renew plan if I want to use credit from my account, I asked clarifications a few times, latest was 30-July and they still haven't "checked" as promised.
Customer service may feel good for very basic issues, but otherwise is pretty bad: to have a SIM replaced it took me over a year, the problem I had was surely due to a bad portin issue, but their game was to blame my settings and any of the phones I tried with this SIM. They DO NOT listen, and care less.
The new tested sim I was finally sent showed no problems and they never apologised for the amount of time they wasted me with their inefficient system and poor customer service.
It uses EE network but it's at the end of the queue, it's service at times doesn't perform as well as the ones my friends use with similar SIMs also on EE.

We have 2 year deals for my wife’s phone and mine with RWG who have switched my EE provider to now about a month ago and since neither phones can no longer make any calls because it connects but impossible to use due to constant breakup and garbled speech. I’m certain it now only connects using their emergency 2g connection because it just will not dial out if I choose 3,4 or 5g. What a disaster.

I asked NOW to port my old number to them and they told me it would be done by midnight Friday august 15th,,,......NO IT WASN'T....WHAT A SHAMBLES OF A START.....STILL NOT PORTED, and WHERE'S MY OLD NUMBER BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO CONTACT ME ON IT INCLUDING MEDICAL SERVICES.......WHAT A DISGRACEFUL OUTFIT this NOW Pantomime is....I thougt very wrongly they were good..... So far so bad - paid for and ordered a PAYG SIM. Received the SIM but it wasn't active (said not registered on network)and when I logged into my account there was no credit.
Complained to customer services who said they "have to check with relevant department" to see if I paid (never mind that I have the credit card statement to prove it). In the meantime I just have to wait and can't use the SIM.
No apology either for the appalling service.
