I don’t even want to give these guys 1 star.

Tricking people into a membership and then charging monthly until they realise what is occurring is a disgusting way of operating.

This is a scam.

Do not trust this company, pay a little extra for products from a trusted source who are doing good in the world.

hidden monthly charges

I just noticed they started charging my credit card a monthly fee last month. They are claiming that signed up for a membership when I made my purchase. I searched their website trying to find information on this supposed membership, but I can't find a reference to it. When I tried to cancel and request a refund, they responded stating I did sign up for an account and ignored my request for the charges to be cancelled and to cancel the membership. It was bad enough the products I got looked cheap, but getting charged monthly because I made one purchase is a scam.

I ordered a dog coat on Dec 28

I ordered a dog coat on Dec 28. It just came today Jan 17 th. I understand it cam from China but that was not disclosed on the order. The coat a small for my dog even though I used their size chart.

Then there is the matter that this company has a pre checked box signing you up for “priority service”. What
Nonsense!!
I have been charged $18.33 and have disputed this charge. They emailed me to say they canceled this charge but it is still there.
I advise anyone dealing with this company to beware of

Total scam site and ship from China not US

Total scam site. Took nearly a month to get my dog coat only to have it arrive from CHINA with a in States label slapped over it. Plus, the $1 priority shipping upgrade I paid for has now become $18.33 TWICE on my debit card. They say it was a Membership agreement when I paid the $1 🤬 They say I was sent a confirmation email ....never happened. I am very Type A.

I ordered 2 dog jackets Dec 2, paid for 7-10 day shipping. Was told l paid for 13-15 day. Sent a screen shot to prove 7-10 day. Received a refund in shipping. However, it's been 25 days since l ordered. I've emailed several times with screen shots of the tracking, and it is obvious the pkg has been lost. I've requested full refund, but they have now ghosted me. Reported to BBB, and state Attorney General

I got my order yesterday

I got my order yesterday. The zipper was sewn into the seam. Also they charged me yesterday for the second time so I inquired and that’s when I found out about the subscription. So I wait a month to get the crappy product and have to pay for a subscription to buy your crappy products. I just got product yesterday and found out how bad it was. They take a month to get you product so that they can charge you twice for subscription. Scam.

BEWARE

BEWARE. As many of the emails state they are still doing this horrible practice. They trick people into signing up for a monthly membership and continue to withdraw funds from your CC or Bank account every month. There is small fine print at check out which automatically opts you into this membership. You need to uncheck the box before you check out or else you are automatically signed up.

I wouldn't even give you a one star. Shame on your company for charging a monthly fee. I can't sign in to cancel. Your system doesn't recognize my email. You can send that blanket response all day long and it still doesn't change the fact that your business practices are shady. CANCEL these payments IMMEDIATELY!

Payments keep being taken from CC.

They took payment and the bag arrived. Then they keep taking payments from our credit card. We tried getting in touch with them and they haven't answered our email. I feel like I have been scammed.

I don’t think this company even deserves a one star. I am getting the run around or maybe better put, I am being ignored. I placed an order on10/29. They claim it has been lost but have NOT followed through with reshipping. I am demanding a refund but they are not responding to that request. Run run run from this company.

Read ALL of the bad reviews! Run away from Oak & Hearth. They will auto draft the hell out of your bank account. Read the fine print on the check out page. You will AUTOMATICALLY be signed up for their “Discount Loyalty” program. Look at your bank statement, there’s a phone # to call. Call them and rip them a new A$$ hole. Don’t let them get away with this thievery!!

SHAME ON YOU

Purchased 2 bags from this company a once off purchase unaware that I had been signed up for a membership. Only realised this on reviewing my Bank Statement. Highly unlikely that I will ever see that money again ! Seems I’m not alone in this and a poor way to do business

Beware - membership scam attached to purchases

Just had the same experience as another writer. After purchasing an item, a 2nd charge appeared on my credit card. Called customer service and was told it was a membership signed up for at time of purchase. Not so! Charge is to be reversed - we'll see if that happens. Beware folks!

They are scammers. I bought 2 bags from them and they sent me an invoice for the bags. A month later they charged my bank account for $27.52au for a months subscription. But I didn’t authorised them to take any money for a subscription. They never sent me a invoice for any subscription if they had I would have canceled it straight away. I didn’t know anything about a subscription. They are scammers.
