These soft socks are the bee’s knees and the cat’s whiskers rolled into one! They are soft, seem to wick moisture, cool in summer and definitely warm in winter. The only slight downside is that if you have any tight shoes you may find these aren’t the perfect partners. Full marks for this entrepreneurial company. Don’t believe the risk of scam warnings. They are bona fide- the dogs best bone!

I bought cashmere socks so not cheap.i have circulatory problems and they were very tight.i asked for a refund as they were not fit for purpose but although they came from an address in England I had to return them to New Zealand.what a swizz very poor service so be warned not a way to conduct business,

Bought alpaca ankle socks to replace old Paco ones that I've had for years and very happy with. O&J ankle socks were at least an inch too short and poor grip so fall down and need pulling up. Won't be buying from O&J again

Terrible customer service when they cannot explain clearly the buy 2 get one free, total ripoff.
It said very clear on order buy 2 get one free, but no that’s not how it works. These are also made in China which is stated deep in website but for the price, again ripoff!

I ordered the “buy 4 get 4 free” deal for myself (ankle socks) and they are so soft and warm! I ordered the same special for my husband (calf high) and he loves them also. We had 1 sock that had a small tear at the toe seam after about 2 wearing. I emailed the company to let them know. They immediately replied and offered to refund or replace the item. I was very pleased with their fast response and offered to make it right. I recommend this company and their socks! 😀

Alpaca socks were completely new to me so I just bought a few for my husband’s Christmas stocking filler. Now totally sold on them and bought for myself and my sons. They are so comfortable, warm, supportive and hard wearing. I would highly recommend them, they are a delight to wear. Shipping does take longer as they’re from New Zealand but well worth the wait.

Was looking forward to receiving this great product, which when I did receive my socks I have to say they are so comfortable, just as well I purchase a pair for each day of the week.

It took a long time to get the socks, but when they arrived they were worth waiting for excellent quality, I will be ordering more. Jo

I love these! Bought few months back for Christmas presents. My brother loved them so much I've ordered more for his birthday.
My job role means I'm on my feet for 7-8 hours and I have to say the socks have felt so comfortable, warm and soft. A great thing to help prevent achy feet after a long day at work!

I was looking for wool socks to wear on the Camino Frances in May. Everyone was talking merino; then, I found Olive and Jet and learned about alpaca wool! The socks are well structured to stay in place around the foot, are not too tight at the calf and have just the right amount of cushion on the sole. I have been wearing them while training and am so delighted that I ordered a few more pairs for myself and a couple pairs for my sister who is accompanying me on the journey. Temperature regulating, moisture wicking, no odor (even after multiple days wear) and soft as a cloud - a perfect combo of hard working piece of clothing which feels luxurious. Well done! PS I would love to see some fun colours.

As a former marathon runner, now as a senior walker, I have neuropathy in both feet and ankles. I have tried every kind of socks but they all felt like course sandpaper until I found Olive & Jet. I have tried wool, merino wool, cotton, cotton blends, and they were all so uncomfortable, until I found these alpaca fiber socks! I used to have to change my socks and shoes at least twice a day because my feet were so painful, but now with these alpaca socks from olive and jet I can wear my socks and shoes all day! What a relief!

These extraordinary socks have changed my sock drawer for the better! I was initially a little dubious of their claims but, if anything, they have understated them! These are warm and comfortable, anti bacterial and wear and wash perfectly. There is no shrinkage at all and I have now got myself up to eight pairs, that I love!

Best socks ever!! So very comfortable and I can wear them more than once without washing in between. Sock draw now full of Olive and Jet Marino wool socks… all my old ones are away to the charity shop and I can’t imagine wearing anything other than my beautiful Olive and Jet Marino wool socks … 5 stars for sure!

Have bought a dozen pairs both in black and gray, and they are now my go to daily wear, soft warm and comfortable. Will be getting more once they release more colours.

When they advertise Buy 4 Get 4 free doesn't mean you will get 8 pairs of socks in that order. This is not good advertising. Always email them 1st for any questions.
If they do not respond within 5 working days, walk away!
And no, they do not send from Christchurch, New Zealand, because if they did, my socks would have arrived within 3 days, not 10!

My wife bought me 2 pair of these socks and HOLY COW, They are the ONLY socks that i can wear in the winter that don't leave my feet a soaking mess. I've tried Merino wool, thermal socks, NOTHING worked until Alpaca.

I ordered 3 more for myself but i wasn't paying attention and ordered the wrong size. Angus, the customer service guru told me to send them back and they would ship new ones, no fee. They shipped me 4!! These guys are GREAT.

The socks are thin and they can be slippery, so keep that in mind. But if you need something to keep your feet WARM in the winter, these are the only socks to buy!

I purchased one of their advertised deals. Buy four get four free. I thought what a great deal for Alpaca socks... Delivery time was quite good considering it came to Australia from New Zealand, customs etc. This is where the good finishes and the not so good starts. Hence the one star for delivery.
I bought the ankle socks and wished I hadn't.
The first time and the second time, using different socks, both times the heel consistently rides under the foot in sand shoes. Not only does the heel slide under the foot but the entire sock moves sideways in the sand shoe. So obviously no support/grip to hold the sock in place when wearing.
Nobody likes a lump under their foot; therefore, the socks are not fit for purpose. Zero stars for the socks themselves.
Size wise I wear a size 11.5 US sand shoe, so using Olive & Jet's sizing chart bought the XXL size socks. So I would say be very cautious of their sizing chart.
I'm thinking of washing them in hot water hoping they'll shrink after all they're useless now so what do I have to lose... Oh yeah money.

The courier arranged by these guys delivered to a address that was unattended over the weekend and then told me it was my problem and to contact the courier company to find the person that stole my goods,

Buyers be careful

I purchased two pair of the Alpaca socks. Waited some time for them to arrive, then found out that there is more acrylic than alpaca product in the fabric. I paid over $30 each, and it is a complete rip off. I am not sending the socks back because I can't be bothered with the back and forward correspondence it would take to retrieve even a part refund. I had suspected this would happen, even before I read previous reviews.

These socks were marketed as tougher than merino with a 90 day comfort guarantee. Neither claim is true. I have merino socks that are a couple years old with no issues. When I contacted the company after about 8 weeks stating my socks were badly worn, I was told there is no 90 day guarantee it is a comfort guarantee. You are only permitted to try them with light use around your home for a day or two. Pardon? Save your money.
