Terrible Customer Support
In 2020, I ordered two custom sized rollers from this company, as a test run to see if I was ready to order 40 custom rollers for my own home.
I was so excited! Reasonably priced custom automated shades.
Upon arrival, I saw my shades had creases. I wrote support and Emelie wrote back, accusing me of creasing my own shades by not following directions. Wow! I was very clear with my process and that I had read all their directions at the time.
No responsibility was taken. I replied back, and got not reply in return.
Then, shortly after, they released a better smart controller that integrates with HomeKit and other things. I inquired about replacing it with an upgraded controller/motor and was told it cannot be done.
Thankfully I didn’t buy all 40! Felt like an unappreciated customer. Wasn’t trying to take advantage, just wanted a decent product.
Now that a couple of years have passed, I’m hopeful this small company has gotten their customer service act together.

Our shade had a few problems at first. We contacted customer service and got prompt responses. We worked with Emelie, a customer service representative, for quite awhile and through many prompt email exchanges she helped us to resolve all the issues with the shade. Very pleased at this point.

OmniaBlinds ordering process was simple and easy. The lead time was extended slightly due to the Christmas and New Year break, but then arrived much quicker than promised. Great quality product and easy to install. Motorised blind works a treat, opening and closing every day automatically and still working on the first charge more than a month after installation.

Great product & support service. One of my blinds had a draining battery issue and they quickly sent me over a new motor. They were very helpful and prompt at answering all my questions.

Great customer service. Got free samples and then good follow up from a representative that made sure I had what I needed. Great updates on progress and shipping. Easy to install DIY and looks great. Connected with apple home with no friction.
I still haven't received my order
I still haven't received my order. Going on 8 weeks now. I also never rec'd communication that my order would be delayed, I had to send an email to your company to find out my order "should" ship next week (we'll see). That is NOT good customer service.

OmniaBlinds, Smart Roller Blinds done right!
I ordered my smart roller blinds from Omniablinds.com on January 2nd and received them January 25th. On their website they say it’s typically from 2 to 5 weeks for delivery, so approximately 3 weeks in my case. The fabric colour and material was exactly the same as the example I was sent a few weeks earlier. I ordered 20 samples, they sent me many more to choose from and it was no charge for the samples. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to get actual samples in your hands to make your decision before ordering your blinds. Colours on the website are just not exact. I had everything needed to install them in the box minus the screws, which makes total sense since they ship all over the world, everybody’s needs will be different. Installation went as planned, some measuring and four screws later, the blinds were installed. Charging took about 6 hours, but you can plug them in and still test them as well as set them up in the Eve app and Apple Home app while it’s plugged in and charging. One nice touch I do want to mention, was that I received these blinds at the end of the day. Not long after I did, I got an email from a Customer Support representative to ask if I was satisfied and if all was ok with the delivery. This was at roughly 6 pm my time (midnight Sweden time). Now thats taking customer service to another level. I’ll definitely be getting another set of OmniaBlinds for my bedroom next.

Avoid
Blinds were fine.
Be warned in the UK you will be stung for import charges. For 2 blinds we had to pay an additional £131.00. As it’s a retail site you would expect any charges to be included or at the absolute minimum be warned by Omnia blinds of the likely cost. Omnia blinds know if this and choose to ignore it and are not sympathetic to any complaints in this area.
Had we known the extra charge we simply would not have purchased from this company.

Stung for extortionate import charges
Quality of blinds were good, excellent choice and all installed with ease, however, they don't tell you that in the UK at least you are stung with import charges, so for 4 blinds we ordered we were charged an additional £260 on top of the blinds. When challenged, they simply didn't care, saying we agreed. If you check the small print, it does say, buyer responsible for any import charges, however, charges of this amount, really should be communicated at the point of sale or at least an estimate. If we had known this, simply would not have bought. Buyer beware.

Amazing Product, Great service.
One of the rods arrived bent, they sent a brand new replacement, no questions asked. Blinds also work well and look great. Can’t say enough about their great service.
