I’m sorry for not responding to you earlier as we were not aware of Trustpilot until now.



I personally also love our Chlorella and Spirulina tablets for the convenience and knowing that they are 100% pure - we press completely pure powder into a tablet shape without adding any binders and fillers as many others have in them.

But, we do still get a lot of feedback that the powder versions are the freshest tasing ones people have tried - this is because ours is grown in mountain spring water and not surface water like many others. Also we test ours at every stage of cultivation and production to ensure no toxins or contaminants are present.

Our team of Nutritionists and Wellbeing Experts are really passionate and sincerely working hard to help everyone that gets in touch! I’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to them too!

Yes, it’s very strange that across social media we literally have thousands of amazing reviews and testimonials - life changing actually many of them - and then somehow here there are all these 1 stars which we were not aware of at all and we're not able to yet identify them as customers.

I’m sorry for not responding to you earlier as we were not aware of Trustpilot until now.

I’ve personally looked into the multiple email exchanges you’ve had with my team since your order and this review is very unfair and unjust to say the least.

You have indeed received your product and confirmed over email to us. Also you’re implying that you’re emailing us but we do not respond - we have exchanged 7 emails together.

You placed your order in the evening of 10th April and it was dispatched with Royal Mail the next day. You emailed us to say that your order had not arrived and that there was a problem with the tracking. Firstly, we held our promise and promptly dispatched your order without delay.

Royal Mail asks for a grace period of 10 days to complete delivery of delayed orders. We explained to you right away that if Royal Mail fails to deliver your order by then, that we would immediately have a free replacement sent to you.

Unfortunately Royal Mail failed to deliver by the grace period and we quickly dispatched a free replacement and sent you the new tracking details.

We also refunded you your shipping charges as a gesture of good will, even though this lost/stolen parcel was completely out of our control.

It was at this point you decided to leave this 1 star review. We had done everything possible to help you, replied and acted promptly and kindly.

My team followed up with you the very next day to ensure there were no problems in shipping to your address for your free replacement, and you confirmed you had already received it by then.

As I said above, this is a very unfair review. But I still wish you the best of luck.

The taste of our Spirulina and Chlorella very often comes up in conversation with customers as they are very surprised when switching to ours, just how much fresher and not fishy ours tastes. 


The secret to this is that ours is grown in fresh circulating mountain mineral water as our farm is located at the foot of the Tawu Mountains, away from any industry and pollution, surrounded by forests and national parks. Many others are unfortunately grown in surface water which can be very stale and even contaminated with toxins.

Thank you for also noticing the taste of our Cacao as it’s a unique variety from Ecuador called Arriba Nacional - considered the highest quality in the world by leading chocolatiers.

I will be sure to pass on your kind words about our Customer Service to the team too.

I’ve just read your review, thanks for sharing your feedback. I appreciate it, but 1 star seems a bit harsh.

I’ve personally checked all our communication with you and can see an email where my team promptly helped you with your question about your bank’s transaction fees. However, you’ve never contacted us about your taste complaint or wanting to make a return. We would have been more than happy to assist you had you done so.

Regarding your bank’s transaction fees, which I believe are in the range of 1%, so in your case $0.30. We have customers in 144 countries and are not based in the United States – we don’t claim to be, and our website does state that you may be charged transaction fees by your bank depending on your personal agreement with them. We don’t have any visibility into when and why these fees occur as it’s between you and your bank.

I’m really surprised to hear that the Baobab was not to your taste because we receive wonderful feedback all the time about how delicious it is, with a sherbet-y, tangy, citrusy, fresh flavour. Taste can be subjective, I agree, but also, when you buy herbs and supplements, you’re buying them for their health benefits, not necessarily the taste.

Baobab is traditionally known for its stomach-settling benefits. This is what thousands of other customers use it for every day with excellent results. Of course, we take your experience seriously and apologise for any discomfort you have experienced.

We offer a generous 30-day return policy and provide store credit even for opened pouches. This allows our customers to try other products should their initial purchase not meet their expectations.

We would have been happy to issue you a full refund if you had raised all these issues with us. We have a team of Nutritionists and Wellbeing Experts personally handling each case, no bots or AI, to ensure our customers are getting high quality assistance and advice.

There are thousands of positive reviews about Organic Burst across our social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook and if you check any of our posts or Stories, we are sharing testimonials daily from our customers.

We’ve checked all our records and can’t find you as one of our customers. We’ve requested more information via Trustpilot to try and identify your order but you have not supplied any details. This looks like a competitor leaving a negative review as other reviewers here have been pointing out.

Nevertheless, let’s address all your points.

It is completely untrue that there are no reviews anywhere else. Our social media is full of thousands of customer testimonials which we receive and share with the world daily.

Chlorella does not have any side effects. This has been proven through many studies and there is no food standards agency that has listed any side effects of Chlorella. It has been used for decades by millions of people all around the world completely safely.

What you have described are detox symptoms associated with the body cleansing and removing toxins from within. Those with severe build-up of toxins in the body may experience these symptoms, still very rare, but they go away after a day or two. This is similar to when people go on a juice cleanse or other detoxing programmes and procedures.

If anyone has any personal sensitivity and doesn’t want to continue using our products, we always offer a full refund.

The serving size of our Chlorella is 4 tablets and not 8.

It is possible to have more than 1 serving a day to boost effects and thousands of our customers do this every day without any negative effects. I personally have up to 20 tablets a day and have done so for many years now. 1 tablet is only 1/4th of the daily serving size.

There are many cheap products on the market but as with all things you get what you pay for. On rare occasions, just like with any food or supplement, they may not agree with someone due to us all having individual and personal sensitivities. These can come and go depend on our circumstances.

Yes we have a generous 30-day guarantee. For anyone with an experience such as the one you’ve described, we always offer full refunds or free product replacements by the choice of our customer.

Our 30-day guarantee works perfectly well, is very fair and totally simple to understand:

• If anyone has a poor experience we offer a full refund or free product replacement as mentioned above. No return is required in these cases.

• If someone wishes to return a non-opened product, we can also offer a refund upon return.

• If someone has opened the product and wants to make a return for general reasons, unlike most commercial businesses, we still offer you store credit so you can try another product on us.

Imagine you purchased a clothing item, ripped it and then wanted to make a return. It would not be accepted of course. But in our case, even though the product needs to be discarded, we still offer you credit.

Our goal is for our Bursters to get benefits and results, not to simply make a sale.

To feel dizzy and have headaches from just 1 tablet, which is only a quarter of a serving size, spaced out days apart, would imply something very personal to your system’s sensitivity.

Apologies for the late response here as I’ve not been aware of Trustpilot until now.

I’ve investigated everything with my team, and I’ve gone through all the past communication you’ve had with us, as well as the orders that you’ve placed.

I must say that this is a very unfair review. I’m also surprised as the messages you exchanged with us were overall positive.

I can see from our system that you started using Chlorella in September 2023 and indeed subsequently placed 2 more top-up orders for Chlorella, using it for about 5 months.

The negative effects you’ve described are not associated with Chlorella as my colleagues explained. It can’t cause anxiety and chest related issues as it simply doesn’t have any compounds in it that can do this. It certainly has no negative effect on the heart.

As per scientific research and food standards agencies, Chlorella does not have any side effects. There are millions of people happily benefiting from chlorella around the world with no problems.

Also, as you’ve used it for 5 months with only positive effects, it wouldn’t suddenly switch to give such negative effects after such a long period of use. This was something my colleagues also had explained.

I noted from the communication that you were taking other supplements at the same time, and I would recommend reviewing those in case these effects were from something else you were having at the time. You said you were using B12 and high doses of B12 can bring about similar symptoms to what you have described.

All in all, it seems there was something else happening, and sadly you attributed it to Chlorella.

Regarding your issue on Facebook, which seems to be what caused you to leave this review. Firstly, you’ve never been banned - I’ve just checked and you’re not on the ban list. However, you actually banned us. This is why you were not able to engage further with us and our team was even trying to reach out to you but was unable to, because you’re the one that banned us. This is how Facebook works.

The vanishing comment you’re referring to was a reply you made to a thread from another person. That person decided to delete their original comment, which automatically removes all the replies associated with it.

We don’t delete comments unless they are rude and offensive, and we answer every comment. We didn’t delete your comment.

Yes, many kids use Chlorella happily and with great benefit. We do not recommend it for children under 3 as they have specific dietary requirements (unless recommended by your family health practitioner), and those under 10 should have half the recommended serving size.

As always, we recommend you seek personalised advice from your health practitioner and paediatrician before commencing any new supplements.

Firstly, apologies for the long delay in responding here, we have only recently started using Trustpilot and we are now replying to old reviews that we were not aware of at the time.

I’m sorry to hear that you experienced those effects, this can sometimes be from an individual sensitivity to a particular food, or they could have been detox effects, which are usually very mild and resolve quickly.

In these rare cases, we usually encourage our Bursters to stop taking, or halve their serving size.

I’ve reviewed the communication you had with Emily and I can see that she has been very kind, helpful and has issued you a full refund already.

There seem to be a few inconsistencies with your experience. You have repeated that we state these as side effects on our website, but as Emily had explained, you are looking at a generic Google description, and not our website. The screenshot you sent us is of a Google auto-generated description from the Google search page and not from our website.

We do not have such incorrect information on our website. As we have already explained, Spirulina does not have side effects which is supported by published scientific literature and food regulators across countries are in agreement.

Equally we do not claim that Spirulina reduces cholesterol, and would never expect any of our customers to be vomiting up their food – we only wish to help our Bursters feel amazing! The health benefits we list on our website for each individual product are all grounded in scientific studies and we state where and when they were published.

We have only recently become aware of Trustpilot reviews, hence the late response. But we would now like to help. If you had contacted our team to explain your reaction and which of our prodcuts you bought, we would of course have been able to deal with this directly. Just pop us an email with your order number if you would like our support now.

I have to say, these are psychological effects that we have never come across before and none of our Bursts will ‘mess up your hormones in the wrong way’. Our Maca, which has the biggest impact on hormones, is an adaptogen, meaning it helps the body restore natural balance and does not contain any external hormones. It is a whole, natural food and we have a rigorous testing process that means it is free from any contaminants.

We receive thousands of positive reviews from our Bursters who are thrilled with their results when taking our Maca. For instance, their stress levels reduce, periods normalise, breakouts clear up and mood improves.

The vague nature of the review (not specifying which product) and the fact that Trustpilot has contacted you to request further information with no response, leads us to wonder whether this is actually genuine and at the very least it feels unfair when we would have immediately helped you had you contacted us in the first instance. Several negative reviews here appear to have been planted by a competitor, which really saddens us.
