I bought a very smart Joules fleece jacket from Out of the City. It was good value and delivery time was excellent. A friend loved the jacket and she has bought one from the same site - I sent her the link, and she is equally delighted.

Happy with my experience
Very quick delivery and good prices in the sale, I was happy with my purchases so did not need to contact the company or use the returns process. Throughout the purchase the company kept me informed with the progress.

First Purchase, Now Stuck Waiting for a Refund
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience shopping with Out of the City.
This was my first time ordering from them and I purchased a Barbour jacket. When the item arrived, it unfortunately didn’t fit — it was actually too tight.
I tried it on briefly and immediately repackaged it to return.
The jacket I received did not have a tag attached when it arrived. However, after returning it, the company has now refused to issue a refund claiming that the tags were missing and that the item therefore doesn’t meet their return criteria. This is frustrating because I returned the jacket exactly as I received it and it was never worn outside.
I have contacted their support team to explain the situation and have asked them to reconsider their decision. At the moment, I am still waiting for a response regarding my refund.
As this was my first time shopping with this company, I sincerely hope this situation gets resolved soon. Otherwise, it leaves a very poor first impression and raises concerns about their returns process. I will update this review depending on how the company handles the situation.

It appears the jacket was possibly sent out without the label attached, which may have caused the confusion. Our policy regarding labels remaining attached is in place to help ensure that any returned products are unworn and suitable for resale for all customers.
Your refund has now been issued to your original payment method and should appear in your account shortly, depending on your payment provider.
