Oxigen Environmental Avis 

I've spent 6 weeks trying to get Oxigen to take away put bins having cancelled the account. They kept ralaying via phone and email they would come. Never did. The bins had been left out and they said they were not. They had been there already. The address must be wrong. They would come back. (All fabrications) Followed up again and again. Reminded them with photos, emails and Eircode and still nothing. Followed up again alerting them I could not keep blocking the small terraced footpath due to accessibility and health and safety and I had new bins to be put out which would mean 4-6 large wheelie bins blocking this small space. ( I am not always there to take in and out. Also difficult due to back injury to drag around). The cancellation of the account arose as a result of a similar situation when they ordered a bin (without my consent by another party while I was away even though I am the account holder) and said to leave the older bin out on multiple occasions. Which I did. Repeatedly. I got so done with it and their noise levels and leaving the bins thrown every which way on the small path for the short period I had signed up to them I decided to leave. Their repeated let down and vague apology emails with failed promises of standing by any action resulted in a phone call telling me they were 'stretched thin' (for 6 weeks?) and that it didn't matter what I said and the beautiful ending from the person on the phone was 'it is what it is'. Great motto Oxigen. And lastly, while this didn't bother me, it's just an FYI, they are also more expensive than my new company who have been a pleasure to deal with.

Skip arrived late and not collected when requested. Otherwise all great

The company kept rising the price every year for 5 years until I end up paying 35 euro for a service that was offered by others for 23 . When I cancelled, I was immediately offered a similar price. When I refused, they punished me by leaving me with their bins not collected for 3 weeks. This is the opposite of what consider rewarding loyal customers.

I have been using Oxigen Environmental for my bin collection service for many years on a monthly plan with weekly collections. While the regular collections are generally fine, they occasionally miss scheduled pick-ups on certain weeks without automatically crediting or refunding the missed service.

For example, two weeks ago, my green recycling bin was completely missed. I left it out for an extra day hoping they would collect it, but nobody came. When I rang their office today to resolve the issue, customer support promised to process a refund for the missed collection week, but this has still not been fulfilled.

It is frustrating to pay a full monthly charge when the full service isn't delivered. Oxigen is a reliable company when things run smoothly, but they need to improve their responsiveness and ensure promised refunds for missed collections are actually processed promptly.

Skip is still outside my home,when I have requested for it to be picked up.I have had to cancel workmen coming with diggers twice already,Very inconvenient .

Great service. Easy to book. Office easily contactable and answered any queries I had. Delivery driver was great to communicate when dropping and picking up skip. Would use again.

Came on designated day. Very helpful driver/operator. Would like to have had more certainty re time but very helpful person in office gave a good indication. It would have been useful to have had less lead in time for delivery (nearly a week), as we were under time pressure. Also had the skip for an extra day after reporting it ready for removal. This wasn’t a huge issue except that our skip was on the public path and it was a concern for me that it could be accessed for fly-tipping of prohibited material overnight, such as mattresses, which we would have had to remove or pay for. Thankfully this did not occur - only minor “additions” were added, possibly due to busyness of road at its location. Thus the extra material was an irritant rather than a disaster! Would be happy to use Oxigen for a skip again.
