I've recently opened a kitchen with Oya. I found them to be very professional. The whole experience was easy and stress free. As a professional who has been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, I can highly recommend working with them.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had working in catering! These guys: Tom and Ashley and the crew. Placed me in a non vetted(so it seemed) bar in Islington that was run by low level gangsters (this is no exaggeration) where they(mostly the bar owners) lied about footfall and past food revenues to get me and my £3000 thru the door. Needless to say that the bar’s clientele scared off(it was a local meeting place for dealers and their patrons and local black market thugs) any potential new trade and both the bar owner and Oya did absolutely nothing to help. In the end I had to leave after the first month! as I was being threatened and harassed constantly. Oya made no concessions even though they knew my situation and a year on I am still suffering from the loss of over £3000! This basically ended my catering company as I never financially recovered. Doing my due diligence wasn’t enough to save me in this deal. I’d go out and find my own venue if I had to do it again. It’s not that hard. Check out the areas you wish to work and go approach bars yourself. I’ve heard this works and there’s no middle man to pay. I’m more than willing to discuss my experience in detail with anyone looking to work with Oya. BEWARE!

Awful company to deal with. Will rip people off and add little value for their ‘service’. Then charge a fee to both sides for the privelidge. Don’t bother

Extremely disappointed in this service. We used OYA Kitchen services and platform to help us find a suitable kitchen for rent. We found later into our tenure (amongst other breeches) that the ‘landlords’ OYA put us in touch with were in fact not the landlords, and only the tenants signing fraudulently as said landlord inside the contract that OYA provided. After contacting the actual landlord we were surprised to find out that the posing ‘landlords’ OYA had put us in touch with had been subletting the landlords space without his knowledge and collecting both rent and dine in sales unlawfully, with oya collecting a commission from all sides. OYAs lack of due diligence and complete disregard for who they supposedly vet and put on their platform open the way for instances like this whereby both the actual registered landlord and new tenant are at risk from fraudulent behaviour. Please be aware of OYAS terms of service before entering into any agreement. It clearly states that they are not liable for any legal discourse. Their platform must provide a responsible level of service to their customers, and if both landlords and potential tenants find themselves in precarious situations because of it then there must be some form of accountability from OYA to do the relevant Due diligence in order to save users from the possibility of fraudulent, unlawful actions and the financial ramifications that arise from it. Subsequently our business had to vacate because of this, and are now in legal action for serious breech of contract. OYA have been cc’d into all communication but we have yet to receive any response from them. Would advise potential users to search for a more credible and safer company and platform
