Good paints, poor customer service
I am an architect. I am aware that Paper and Paper Library is now connected to Little Greene.
I wanted a Paint and Paper Library colour card to be able to specify these paints. I had difficulties ordering online so I made contact through the Chat, and was promised the chart. I waited several days but nothing was delivered so I called: I was told that, if the card had been promised, it would arrive, and it would come as a parcel so would take 5-7 days. I asked why a parcel for a single colour chart and was told 'because that is what we send'.
Days passed and I received a parcel which contained the wrong information - a Little Greene colour chart plus thick brochures and gimmicky leaflets. If I had wanted Little Greene products, I would have asked. It was infuriating that I had also had to wait for a parcel delivery which included brochures and gimmicky leaflets that I had not asked for or wanted.
I called again to ask for the correct colour chart, and eventually received this after about 10 days.
The delay caused inconvenience and embarrassment in my work activities.
Presumably you want to sell your products, so it is not helpful to your customers to make them feel as if you are doing them a favour by sending them information they ask for, and then take nearly two weeks to do so.

The paint colours on the website do not match the colour you get!
I recently ordered paint from this online shop, drawn in by the beautiful photos on their website showing warm, welcoming green tones on the walls of alleged homes. What arrived was nothing like that — instead of the soft green I expected, I ended up with a flat, dull grey. Even the people at the shop admitted the colour was completely off, yet they still refused to take responsibility.
When I complained, the only response I got (repeatedly) was that I “should have ordered a sample pot.” I understand samples can be helpful, but their product photos were so misleading that no reasonable customer would expect such a drastic difference. The paint wasn’t just a shade or two off — it was a completely different colour altogether.
I’m now stuck with an expensive paint I can’t use, and the company has been utterly unhelpful. Their customer service showed no empathy, no willingness to make things right, and no sense of accountability. I would strongly advise avoiding this shop unless you want to risk wasting your money on something that looks nothing like what’s advertised. Some lady called Penny kept saying send a sample so it could be tested in the lab to see if its the correct colour not understanding I am saying its not the colour advertised on the website!

When you compare our paint colour with a website image there will always be a slight visual difference because we cannot reproduce the high pigmentation you find within our actual paints on an actual screen image hence the actual colour purchased may not exactly match the website image.
Our images are for inspiration purposes and hence we recommend customers check their colour choices using sample pots within their own space, as the position of your own room and lighting can greatly alter how a colour performs.

We picked the Rose Cluster without hesitation. It’s perfect, it’s soft and creamy most of the time and then glows warm and peachy when the sun shines through. Such a happy and fun colour whilst also being sophisticated. This room makes me and everyone that walks in smile!

Scarlet n Red is the new red
Recently purchased the Scarlet n Red paint in the Architects Matt finish . Love love love it ! It’s an Extremely dense pigment it looks amazing in my kitchen . I was looking for a colour in between red and brown and this is perfect. I’ve painted some walls and my cabinet doors. The coverage is superb and the paints go a long way. I also purchased the ASP and the Eggshell for the cabinet doors and skirtings. This company has really thought the colours schemes through . Im going to be using it in other projects around the house.
