Misleading information and refusal to refund after D7 consultation
I paid for Portugal D7 visa consultancy from PAN Immigration.
Before making the payment, I was given information that led me to believe that my situation was suitable for the D7 route. In particular, I was told that having around 45k EUR in savings would be sufficient, that my active employment in Dubai would not be an issue, and that I would only need to spend approximately 30 days in Portugal to maintain my residency.
After paying, I discovered that my circumstances did not align with the requirements as they had been presented to me. No D7 visa application was ultimately submitted. I was later offered a D8 route instead.
I requested a refund starting from 24 July 2026, but my refund request was refused based on a no-refund clause in the contract.
My concern is not simply that the visa route did not work out. My concern is that the information provided to me before payment gave me a materially different understanding of my eligibility and the requirements than what I later learned.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering their services independently verify the visa requirements and eligibility with official Portuguese sources before making any payment, and carefully review the refund terms in the contract.
I am leaving this review to document my experience and to make other potential customers aware of what happened.
