Wasn't thrilled from the beginning and now questioning company practices
To begin with I wasn't thrilled about completing an application via mobile, but I was able to get through it although it was a clunky experience. Right now I am on the phone at 4:58pm waiting for customer service to pick up to explain where I can find my account number so that I can register and review my account on my laptop. So far it has been 9 minutes. I was able to find the initial text message that allowed me to go in and find my loan agreement, but the account number on the agreement apparently isn't the account number needed to create your account online. Loan agreement has 12 digits, but to register you only need 9. Yes I shortened it by either skipping the first or last 3, but that didn't help. I am now on hold for 13 minutes.
Okay, the whole initial application and trying to register has been absolutely annoying and a time waster, but something I found disturbing is that when I looked at my loan agreement on my mobile device the "Loan Date" has now changed to today's date, although the effective date should be the date of signing. hmmm, I was hoping to get into my account on my laptop to double check that PatientFi actually has the correct documents.
So my honest opinion, is that I really am not confident this company has the correct controls in place to ensure my information is accurate and safe. Frankly, I would have gone another route to pay for my procedure, but instead thought I would take advantage of the 0% financing. Lesson learned.
Well, it has been 21 minutes now on hold, I think it time to call it quits.
10/18/2024 - I will call in later today with my information. To clarify, my loan was onboarded, I signed papers and have already made two payments. My concern is that when I pulled up my loan documents on 10/2/2024, those documents showed an effective date of 10/2/2024 and not the day I originally signed the document.

Very Pleased With My Experience
I was very pleased with my overall experience using PatientFi. The application process is easy and when I was told that they needed further info to process my application, they called me right back and we took care of that portion so that I could move on in the process.
Alfredo was helpful and polite, answering any and all questions I had regarding payment plans.
Personal immediate and kind attention
Today about 3pm I learned that my procedure scheduled for the next morning has additional costs and payment needs to be arranged before the procedure. I called PatientFi, spoke with Eder and after a few moments he told me I wasn’t immediately approved BUT he said he will be there until 7pm and he would do what he can to see if he can get an approval before then. He called at about 6:30pm and told me I was approved. I’m very impressed that he made it a priority to assist me . THANK YOU!
