Pawfection K9 is the place to go if you want the correct foundations for your pups 100%! So far all my pups that I've bred have been their for foundation work, and I recently went up for work with my Keeper Cobra and New addition Linka who had some nerve issues, Lewis quickly understood how to work Linka and got her going nicely! Both pups have finished teething now, so I will be back up soon for follow up! 💯

I met Lewis back in 2021 when I got my first Dutch herder, jax, he was a rescue & was found in a forest, he came to me absolutely feral!
I knew i wanted to do protection with him but had no idea where to start.
When I met Lewis & his team they were so welcoming & gave me so much guidance & knowledge on what to do with jax.
They introduced me to PSA which is a protection sport & so we joined their PSA club, since then, Lewis has built jax up to be a much much stronger dog & helped us overcome issues with Jax’s protection & obedience, to this day we still train with Lewis weekly & we are now competing in PSA For Jax’s level 2 title.

I started going to Pawfection K9 with my dogs for some training in the sport I was doing. The knowledge that Lewis has of dogs and how they learn is something else. I travel a 500 mile round trip to train there because I quickly saw huge progress from the training I was getting from my local trainer. Lewis is straight talking, honest, and truly cares about progressing each dog he sees. You can see that in his face when he is working with them.

The facilities were top notch with everything needed for the dogs to be worked and the place is always clean and welcoming.

I cannot speak highly enough about the training services provided at pawfection. I brought both my dogs for both obedience and bite work sessions, and the transformation was superb. Lewis is knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about what he does.

His approach to obedience is clear, consistent, and was tailored to suit both my dogs.
For bite work he was able to be versatile to input the control, confidence, and then building drive in a way that’s both powerful and consistent. I’ve seen huge improvements not just in performance, but in my dog’s overall focus and confidence.

We had a situation 2 of our dogs weren’t getting on was becoming a big problem

We sent them to Lewis for a 8 weeks
They came back different dogs, now both dogs are living a happy life at home now so we thank him for the work and now up to us as owners to carry the training on

We’ve been to see Lewis at his ground a couple times now and what an amazing place to train dogs, it’s tidy all the equipment is well maintained and clean, and his knowledge is amazing.he is very good at explaining and breaking down bit by bit what he’s doing and the reason for it which really helps you as a handler understand your dog. And what the dog needs to improve not only in bite with but also with obedience, you can really tell he’s passionate about helping people and their dogs achieve their goals. Decoys and trainers are well experienced with all breeds, and the results are proven in the real world and the sport world. They also breed great dogs and train phenomenal family personal protection dogs.

I attended a protection session with Lewis as my friend is a regular there and I just happened to have the day off. The grounds are lovely (something I place a lot of importance in) and it was fascinating to learn from Lewis and watching his mind work. It was also interesting watching him problem-solve with my friend’s dog and he is always super friendly and approachable. Put me at ease right away which I think is so important for someone new to the game!
