I’ve known Louis for years and have watched his journey from the very beginning — what he’s built with Pawfection is nothing short of incredible.

Both of my dogs have trained with Louis for protection work, starting as puppies and continuing into adulthood. The results have been outstanding. His professionalism, deep knowledge, and calm authority in working with dogs is second to none.

While I was away, my Female stayed with him for residential training. Issues like lead pulling, general obedience, and food refusal were all handled with precision and care — the difference when she returned was night and day.

Lewis at Pawfection had been the most dedicated and honest trainer we have worked with in attempts to fix confidence and reactivity issues with our dog. firstly i would like to take this opportunity to thank Lewis and his team, for supplying me with the appropriate Dogs and Training. to be blunt, he’s work ethic and standards are outstanding and I would have no hesitation in recommending Lewis and his team and his company to anybody that is interested in purchasing a canine protection dog. his warranty packages and follow-up procedures or exemplary to say the least. Iv been going to Pawfection K9 now for about 6 months twice a week for dog sport training, I was having issues training before, so changed and come to pawfection and they have changed the training for both me and the dogs made training plans for all 3 of my dogs which are now all excelling in dog sport and I couldn’t recommended them more highly. Couldn’t be happier with the progress.

Lewis is, without a doubt, one of the most dedicated and skilled dog trainers we've ever worked with. We originally came to him for protection and agility training, but what really impressed us is how well-rounded his approach is—he’s also incredibly effective with obedience training.

Our dog used to struggle with basic commands and was easily distracted, but under Lewis’s guidance, the transformation has been amazing. Now she’s not only obedient and focused, but also thriving in protection work and absolutely loving the agility sessions. Lewis has a way of bringing out the best in dogs, no matter their temperament or background.

One thing that can’t go unmentioned: the facilities are second to none. The training environment is spacious, clean, secure, and equipped with everything needed for high-level obedience, agility, and protection work. It’s clear Lewis has put a lot of care into making it a safe, professional, and engaging space for both dogs and their owners.

Where to start.. Lewis is a great guy very friendly and approachable, him and his team are very good at what they do! What a facility they have also..
We travel down from Newcastle monthly which takes us 4hrs there and back!! But well worth the drive as always and always a good laugh! They help from building puppies to fully grown working adult dogs and are very knowledgeable at what they do, they know there stuff… they’ll also give you advice if needed or asked, don’t hesitate to message or to contact him :)

After being let down with my Doberman as a personal protection dog I went to Lewis at Pawfection K9 and I explained what I wanted from my next dog
He told me he had a litter that he was training and it would be suitable so I went down and looked at the litter and watched all the pups work
They were all really nice ! but with me still being new in the game I couldn’t decide
Lewis asked about my lifestyle and what expectations I have and I told him
“ I work with horses so the dog will come to work with me every day and be on the yard with animals and people the dog will also live in the house with me my mum & dad but I also want to go out and do protection work and trails with this dog so it has to be level headed”

Lewis new exactly what pup would suit me and told me about each ones character and what sort of dog they’ll be when there older! to know this about a 12 week old puppy is incredible and takes years of experience

So I trusted Lewis’s decision and went with the happiest pup that also had loads of drive Lewis said “you’ll have loads of fun with this pup and she’ll turn her head to anything and will achieve great things”

I can’t thank Pawfection K9 enough for helping me with my dachshund. I somehow managed to find myself a genuinely vicious dog that I was terrified of. I was at my wits end and tried so many different trainers including “infamous” social media hyped trainers. No one was close to making any progress. I was at the point where I thought I may have to put him down. Until I found Lewis!
Lewis took my dog for 8 weeks! And he’s performed a miracle.
Me and my dog absolutely love life together now. We go into shopping centres, pubs, parks, he loves a good snuggle with people and hasn’t shown any aggression since.

Not only that but we have amazing recall and loose lead walking.

Pawfection saved mine and my dog’s life and I will be forever grateful.

The team at Pawfectionk9 are unbelievable. They go above and beyond for your dogs needs and also your needs, with tailored training for you and your dog they are unmatched in my opinion and I’ve been to quite a lot of trainers, there’s no other place I will leave my dogs for residential training!

Got a puppy from Lewis last year. I live over In Ireland and was worried about travel but he set up everything for me and helped me with everything along the way. Best puppy I’ve ever owned I would highly recommend!! Even went out of his way and did some training with us before we left
