Paws At Peace have been wonderful at such a difficult time, having to say goodbye to my elderly rescue dog Marley. Kim attended Marley, she was gentle, compassionate and didn't hurry me or make me feel rushed in the process. He passed in my arms at home which was lovely, pain and stress free. Marley had a beautiful and dignified passing and Kim, Sam and the team helped me through that, I can't recommend them enough.

I was very apprehensive about having my beautiful dog put to sleep at home due to a very upsetting incident years ago when we lost another pet.
Kim was outstanding put our minds at rest fussed my dog and had everyone at ease .
Quite a beautiful moment when Angel past without any pain or stress to her .

Paws at Peace helped me say goodbye to my beautiful Westie, Henry, at home, and I honestly cannot thank them enough.
Henry had been my shadow for over 11 years, and the thought of him being scared or in a clinical environment at the end was unbearable to me. Kim and Sam made it possible for him to pass peacefully in his own home, calm, safe, and surrounded by love, and that means more to me than I can ever explain.
From the very first phone call, right through to the after-care messages and the card I received afterwards, I felt genuinely cared for. They were so gentle and compassionate, not just with Henry but with me as well. They allowed me to just be myself in my grief without feeling rushed or judged, and they handled everything with such dignity and kindness. It felt less like a clinical procedure and more like being guided through one of the hardest moments of my life by people who truly care.
Henry was such a happy, gentle little dog — full of love, always curious, always wanting to be close — and I will always be grateful that his last moments were peaceful and full of love, just like he deserved.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paws at Peace to anyone facing this heartbreaking decision. What they do is incredibly important, and they do it with real compassion.

I cannot think of any way at all of ending my beautiful Maisie’s life better than through Paws at Peace . It gives my husband and I great comfort to know that we did everything we could to provide Maisie our dog with the very best ending possible in the comfort of her own home asleep on my knee . What more could we ask . A very big Thankyou to this company . Abbi and Kim who we dealt with were supbeb . Couldn’t ask for better !!!!!!!

A truly amazing team who were caring and showed the up most understanding and compassion when we had to have our little old cat, Miss Kitty put to sleep. Having had a terrible experience when our previous cat had to be put to sleep at home, I was very anxious. Kim talked me through what would happen and Abi came to the house and was so kind. She allowed Miss Kitty to pass with dignity. I will be forever grateful!

Fantastic. Kim and her team are amazing. From start to finish they are caring and sympathetic and understanding of the situation the family of the pet is going though. The care they give to me and my family when we had to get our dog Chester put to sleep was amazing, we can't thank them enough

The staff were so amazing. They treated our 14 year old German Shepherd named Georgia with the utmost respect and kindness. They were so loving and supportive of us during this horrible time. Losing our beloved dog was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do but somehow it felt like a very beautiful passing. I can’t possibly say enough to express our gratitude. They also sent us a beautiful card with the kindest words possible, and we will cherish that forever.

Shadow was diagnosed with Cancer last March , For 10 months she fought it and was as well as could be , still walking around the field , eating and drinking ,
Coming towards the end of Jan the Cancer was getting the better of her , Stopped eating , We always said she would pass with dignity
Shadow hated visiting the vets so we made the decision to have her last minutes at home
Kim was fantastic , she explained everything and it was so peaceful

What a fantastic and friendly service in our time of need. Having recently had to make to tough decision of euthanasia for our family member Enzo our cat of almost 18 years. A call was placed to Sam who was incredible supporting in a difficult call to make.Sam helped to arrange a home visit by Kim the following day to support us in a peaceful and highly respectful manner to lay out beloved pet to rest as well as arranging a local pet crematory to be in attendance. Nothing was rushed on the day by Kim who was lovely and supportive in our final moments with our beloved pet,performing the procedure in Enzo favourite place in his home. We can't thank Kim and paws at peace enough for the support. We had a follow up card, text and emails for support us through this tough and emotional time. Can't recommend paws at peace highly enough. Genuinely lovely supportive individuals in difficult times. Highly recommend.

Amy helped our cat Smudge find relief from cancer today. She was extraordinary in her patience, her ability to explain and support both us and Smudge through the process. I have had a number of cats and now deeply regret not having been able to offer them the Paws at Peace end of life experience. Amy is truly worth it.

Sadly we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Boo, our rescue puss, aged 14 years. Having had a chronic bowel problem for some months her quality of life was diminishing. Paws at Peace (Kim) had been recommended to us by a relative. Kim was so understanding, caring and professional in every aspect. Boo fell asleep peacefully at home in her own familiar surroundings, it was the kindest thing we could do for her and we are so grateful for the service from Paws at Peace. Many thanks Kim x

This service was excellent. They were compassionate, understanding and professional throughout. They visited our golden retriever Mabel at home and they made her feel comfortable and relaxed. As far as Mabel was concerned she just had another visitor to give her love. I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful end of life process. Paws at Peace informed our vet so they were aware of what had happened. We even recieved a condolence card later that week which was a lovely touch.

I am so glad I found Kim and Paws at Peace when I made the heartbreaking decision to let my 16 yo cat go to sleep for the last time. From the first phone call (where I could barely get any words out) to the day I said good bye to Boo Kim gave me reassurance. If you are in any doubt, pick up the phone and speak to them. Thank you

Because our labradoodle Billy had cancer for two years we had a lot of time to think about how difficult it would be when the time came to let him go but Paws at Peace helped us send Billy on his way so peacefully and gently that we will be forever grateful.

Couldn't thank Kim and the team enough from start to finish of the worst day of our lives when are beautiful boy had to be put to sleep, unwavering support, utter kindness and patience made this a little easier

Losing our golden labrador retriever, our beautiful boy, Archie, was utterly heartbreaking, and I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to fully express how thankful we are to Kim and Paws at Peace for the care they gave us during such a painful time.

From the beginning, Kim approached everything with such warmth and sensitivity. She explained each step carefully and kindly, helping us feel supported rather than rushed or frightened. That reassurance meant more than she will ever know.

When Kim came to our home, the love and respect she showed Archie was deeply moving. She created a calm, peaceful space where we could simply be with him, say goodbye in our own way, and know he was comfortable and safe. Being able to let him go at home, surrounded by familiarity and love, was the greatest comfort we could have hoped for.

What touched us just as much was the kindness shown afterwards. Kim checking in meant the world and reminded us that Archie truly mattered. It wasn’t just a service, it was genuine consideration and care.

Archie found vet visits incredibly stressful, and I’m so grateful we were able to spare him that final anxiety. Choosing Paws at Peace allowed us to give him the gentle, dignified goodbye he deserved.

Saying goodbye to our sweet little Sooty was the toughest day of our lives, and we can’t thank Abi enough for coming to our home so Sooty could fall asleep for the final time exactly where she wanted to be — with us, on her sofa, safe, warm, and loved.

Sooty was our little shadow and constant companion: 100% love, with not an ounce of negative energy in her body. I can’t put into words the joy and love she brought to our lives, so it was incredibly important to us that her final moments weren’t spent travelling in a car (which she hated) or feeling stressed in a strange vet’s office.

Sooty let us know that she was ready to say goodbye just after the New Year, it was the moment we were dreading but we knew it was time. From the moment I submitted an online enquiry to my phone call with Kim and the final visit from Abi, we felt completely understood and totally supported. I can’t thank Kim, Abi, and Sam enough for the service they offer. Sooty’s final moments were heartbreaking — but also peaceful and beautiful.

It was time to let our must wounderful Jasmine our fur baby (an akita age 14) cross over the rainbow bridge.
We were so very privelged to be her mam and dad.
And we can truthly say one of the hardest things myself and my husband have ever been through.
We cant thank kim and the team enough . Kim came out and was so kind and caring to both Jasmine and ourselfs and her communication and calm personality was second to none. We would strongy recomend.

It was one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make, when letting our beloved rescue staffy cross Elsie go, but we are so pleased we put our trust in Paws at Peace. Kim was very professional, compassionate and explained the whole process to us. Elsie's passing was very peaceful and stress free which was of utmost importance to us and why we chose a home euthanasia vet in the first place. We would not hesitate to use Paws at Peace again if we found ourselves needing this service in the future.

For such an awful time, Kim was incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate.

After submitting a request on the website in the early hours of the morning, Kim called me and gently helped me understand what the next steps would be, which immediately put me at ease.

When she came to my home, she made both me and my lovely little four paws feel completely comfortable and calm. She gave no warning signs to my dog Daisy at all. Daisy was never good with vets, and after having such a traumatic experience with my previous dog, I wanted to do everything I could to make this right for her.

Kim sedated Daisy so gently that she didn’t even realise it had happened. She then went peacefully and silently to sleep. Knowing that Daisy passed so calmly was incredibly comforting and helped make an unbearable time just a little bit easier.

I can’t thank Kim enough, and I really can’t express strongly enough to anyone reading this how much better this experience is compared to a vet visit. Being at home, in familiar surroundings, allows your dog to go to sleep naturally and without fear.
