PayAngel is a scam. They closed my account and refused to give me a refund after a week. They kept on telling me they will get back to me. Nobody should use PayAngel. It’s a scam company

I wouldn’t even get pay Angel one star this is a ridiculous app trying to send money to your family. I didn’t even use the app trying to send money to my family and they did not accept me with my drivers license or my passport. What kind of app is this? That would do this I would think twice very seriously about using this app

Sent money for over 3 hours money did not reach recipient tried to reach them on phone no response, no response on whatapp there no response. This is poor service

Worst company ever
Worst company ever, I sent money on the 3rd of may 2025, it was updated on the app delivered. The person got incontact with me as of the 6th of May no Money yet. I sent the messages to confirm if it indeed it has been delivered they said, so did not know who to belive I called mtn with the reference number to find out if such money has been delivered to the rceipient account only for Mtn to inform me the rceepient had not received the money. Been calling them since, sending messages as well non has been replied I would be reporting them to the FCSC as as this issues has caused a lot of friction between the recipient and I am stressed and it frustrating. Money does not grow on trees.Payangle a Good name is better than Riches! You all should be ashamed of yourself.

Escribí esta reseña para rectificar mi opinión anterior y dejar claro que finslmente se comunicaron conmigo expliqué la situación y en menos de 24h me devolvieron la transacción fraudulenta. Me estafaron pero no fue PayAngel sino un sinveruenzs que usó su plataforma de pago y mis datos

The company sent me a text to say money was delivered to my bank but 24hrs later i am still waiting for the money and they are not in anyway helpful in tracing the money. This is the third time I've been disappointed by Pay Angel ,so not send money through Pay Angel you will be disappointed. I will be complaining to the financial ombudsman.DO NOT SEND MONEY Through Pay Angel.

They can be a nightmare
There is a long story and a short one. I will stick with the short one. I have used PayAngel for over a year with no troubles. However, my last transaction a week ago was a nightmare. It’s by a miracle that it was eventually resolved. They have country-specific regulations, and I advise you to ask them on WhatsApp for everything you are uncertain about before transferring. Especially if it is substantial. Customer support is a mixture of d bag. None of their listed contact number for my location is a valid registered number.

The worst app to use for sending money be warned. I sent money and after that they blocked my account claiming I hadn't provided sufficient documentation. Which I did. They kept saying they'll unblock my account. 5 days later. Still the same story. Avoid payAngel at all cost.
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company! My experience could not be worse. After registering and uploading my passport, I proceed to transfer 500eur paying with my debit card. The day after I submit documents to confirm my address and proof of my income (salary). I make another transfer for 1000eur. Both shows as “sent for payment”. Without any explanation, I get an email saying both transactions are void and when I try to enter my account it says it’s blocked! Don’t waste your time with amateurs like this. Worse of all, I have to wait several days to get my money back?

I have used 10 money transfer companies to ghana. I send over $15,000 a month. I needed to add one more because of volume. This is the worst company there is. I would sue the owner if I had the time. Customer service is a joke. They dont answer the phone, they dont return phone calls or emails ever. They hold your money on the flimsiest excuses. They are 100% unreliable and undependable. If you need to send money, dont use Pay Angel as you are wasting your time completely. If I had looked at this site I would have known not to try it, but now I kow
The Worst Money Transfer Service I’ve Ever Used
I am curious to know if anyone has shared my experience where your money has been taken out of your account by PayAngel only for them to block your account followed with an observed instruction to contact customer service which of course is impossible because you cannot get to the app. What made matters worse my son is in Nigeria counting on me to get him money for specialist medication to treat his stomach ulcer. I regret using this service I really do.
