Wrong information

When I took the policy out, I was told I could add my husband at a later date, but would have to speak to customer services. I phoned back today to be told i cannot make any amendments to my policy. Not happy i now have to take out another policy.

AVOID - Extremely frustrating – still no policy documents

I purchased travel insurance and have now tried five times to have my policy documents emailed to me, but they still have not been sent. Each time I contacted customer service I was told the documents would be sent shortly, yet nothing has arrived.

I have checked my inbox and junk folder and I am receiving other emails without any problem, so the issue is clearly not on my side. Being told to wait up to an hour for something that should be sent instantly is completely unacceptable.

This has been extremely frustrating and worrying, as I should have immediate access to my insurance policy after purchasing it. At the moment I have paid for a policy but do not even have the documents to prove my cover.

Very disappointing service and would certainly not recommend

worthless Emails

Completed the questions honestly with both mine and my husbands medical conditions, on completion they said they could not offer us insurance, (I have incurable but very treatable cancer). I have since had two emails from them asking me to pick up where I had left off and that they 3 cheapest quotes were below, no quotes were in the email because as they said they could not offer this to us. This is very distressing, I went to them after reading an article on the company and find it difficult to find reasonably priced holiday insurance. Why send emails that are not relevant.

Don't use - very unreliable and unempathetic

This company took my money after I had declared all relevant medical conditions for my travel insurance. When I contacted them to tell them about a change in my husband's conditions, they were extremely unempathetic (which is very poor for a company who deals with people with serious medical conditions) and more or less treated me like a criminal (they said we should have declared a condition that we did not know about when we purchased the insurance - if you understand that please let me know!).

So my advice is to not deal with this company if you think that your medical condition is going to change. We are having to cancel our holiday because of this company!

Just not acceptable

Multi-trip travel insurance with winter sports cover. I was contacted this morning by my travel company to advise me that winter sports insurance cover for Italy must include third party cover by law. I rang customer services to confirm this but they could not tell me and referred me to the underwriters, who also would not say and passed me back to customer services! I then spoke to a manager who was no help either. The policy booklet is totally silent on this.

This is most unsatisfactory when it's a legal requirement in a major winter sports destination (which has just held the winter Olympics, for goodness sake!). One would have thought that it should be a standard element of even the most basic level of cover.

RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: my point is simple. Neither your customer services (twice), the claims department nor the manager could tell me one way or the other whether the insurance includes third party cover or not. They just had no idea. surely it must or it would be useless but when this is a mandatory requirement in a country it's important to know for certain.

This ignorance of what the policy even covers did not give reassurance should a claim actually arise.

I used PayingTooMuch.com to find cheaper travel insurance, but due to my medical condition the quotes were limited and customer support was slow to respond, which made my experience disappointing.

Paid £299.14 but

Paid £299.14 but, they deny this. After paying they still kept emailing me offering travel insurance. When I said I'd taken out insurance with them they said not since 2023. I have a screenshot of my order and payment and I have given the details to my bank. I have already sent a copy of my receipt to paying to much and I have just sent them another one. The policy number is IM4115244942 Now they are saying that the policy number is from InsurerMe4 who I've never heard of. They are unbelievably dishonest.

Poor claim response

All the correct documentation was submitted and after several weeks ( 10 plus ) I received a "settlement"
The claim was incorrectly assessed and I complained by return on 4/12/2025
2 months later and I have still had no response to my complaint or offer to re assess correctly !

Last year I paid £666 for a multi trip…

Last year I paid £666 for a multi trip (annual cover). Visiting Canada USA and cruise cover . Yesterday I was quoted £1800 for the same cover . Nothing has changed with my medical history (only 1year older) the only thing that has changed is my address.

As I am sure you will appreciate, there are multiple factors that can affect the cost of a travel insurance policy. These include for example general price increases, the age of a traveller, their medical conditions (some conditions cost more to cover than others and how you've answered the questions), the medical treatment costs in the country of travel (medical costs in different countries vary, and change day-by-day), the type of policy.

Very abrupt,

Told them everything they needed to know,Out of the blue got a letter from my gp,To check up on slipped disc situation,Rang paying too much,to inform them it was just a check up,Customer service really bad,Treated very badly,Would not ever use again.
