The people are just stupid. They claim their form is for albera form ,but you cannot fill it out if you print it out because 10 pt lettering will not work . and then you need to scan it to upload it I have pointed out that they quoted me a low premium for all insurance . and then increase it to a ridiculous amount later even though I am a safe driver and have had no at-fault accidents for a lot of years since I started driving with studded winter tires .This seems like a classic case of "Bait and switch " They are just trying to screw everyone with ridiculous rates which are not justfiable .
Never get pcinsurance. Agent name Areeza was not knowledgeable and she will be unable to sale any insurance products.
This company is a complete scam. They charged me some random NSF fee just because their system failed to take the payment — even though I paid it myself the very next day! Instead of fixing their mistake, they blamed me and tried to make me pay extra.
Then they told me I can’t cancel my insurance, and if I do, they’ll take my deposit and charge me a penalty on top of that. What kind of business threatens customers like that? Totally unprofessional, rude service, and they don’t care about people at all.
Every time I called, I got a different answer from a different agent. Nobody takes responsibility, and all they do is try to squeeze more money out of you. Avoid PC Insurance at all costs — they just want your money and will find any excuse to charge extra fees.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This company should be investigated for their shady practices.
Avoid at all costs. Worst brokerage I have ever dealt with.

Every time I receive and update there has been something on my application that needs adjusting which takes 3-5 business days to review by the underwriter.. and its done via email so you cannot talk to anyone.
This is my fourth “review” of my application and I still haven’t received a policy.
Loyal PC member for decades. This process has completely changed my view. Will not be renewing with them, if I ever get a completed policy back….
This process started in July 24th and it’s now August 15th and it’s still not complete.

Anyone living in the residence with any form of criminal conviction (i.e spouse DUI X10+ years ago) will prohibit you from getting home insurance. That's right, the hardened criminal spouse, lock them up! With an 840 credit score and zero missed payments for anything in those same 10 years doesn't mean a thing. No rationale given other than "the system won't let me proceed". Lame... Not even a question asked by another insurance company.
They told me that the process will take 3 to 5 days and until now(8th day) They haven't emailed me yet. I called them several times to ask but they couldn't give me a proper answer and worst of all they told me to shop around to someone else if I couldn't wait because it will take to 15 days process.
We were told that once we provided all the required information, it would take 5 business days to receive our auto insurance. It’s now been over 7 business days, and we’re still waiting—with no clear updates unless we make the effort to call.
We urgently needed this insurance because we recently purchased a vehicle and can’t register or drive it until coverage is active. Unfortunately, the process has been nothing but stressful. Each time we thought everything was submitted correctly, we were told something was missing—but no one bothered to notify us. If we hadn't kept calling to follow up ourselves, we would still be waiting in the dark.
To make matters worse, they initially collect all your information over the phone, which takes over half an hour, only to send you an application afterward that you're expected to fill out all over again—often with confusing or unclear fields. You do your best, but then they send it back for corrections. Why doesn’t the agent just send a completed version for review and signature based on the conversation you already had?
The entire process felt like a waste of time, with poor communication, lack of follow-through, and unnecessary back-and-forth. For a company that promotes convenience and simplicity, this has been anything but. We’re extremely disappointed.
Last year I purchased a car insurance via PC Insurance: I shopped around, the rate I was offered was competitive. I got a policy form Travellers. This June I received a notice that PC Insurance will no longer sell third-party policies and will exclusively sell Aviva. I knew that was a bad sing (had a similar experience with Onlina before). Well, PC Insurance/Aviva did not "disappoint" - they hiked the premium by twelve hundred dollars for a worse coverage that I had.... Well, bye-bye PC Insurance, bye-bye Aviva, hope I will never see you again.
After 1 year, they increased my premium by 25%. No claims history. Find something better. Do not use PC/Aviva.

Pc Financial Insurance Brokers Inc. 14 years , No tickets no accidents. NO NOTHING. I never missed a payment , so never late in 14 years. My renewal was June 2025. They up my premium to over $700 dollars more a year. OVER $700. Someone must of been high that day! ! Long story short. I cancelled my truck Insurance with P.C. before the renewal date and am now with another company. And a premium that is lower then it has been in 30 years. What company wouldn't love 14 years of free money? Then decide to lose a customer over greed. That 20 thousand in premium s I paid all those years. Now they get nothing from June 15 2025 on.
My auto and home insurance have doubled! I reached out to them to ask them to send me a letter of experience and nothing was requested until a week later. Looking now to shop elsewhere for better rates.
I had two houses insured under one policy through PC Insurance (policy number 500363050 - Economical) and decided to sell one. We provided them with the policy number and address and asked that the one address be removed on a certain future date (545 Browning Avenue for 08/28/24). They responded telling us that it was removed immediately (as of 2:38 PM on 8/19/2024). It took a bit to fix that mistake. Then on Sep 5, 2024, I emailed a PC Insurance representative to ask why I no longer had ANY house insurance showing on my online account and if they had cancelled the entire policy, including the house we live in. They didn't answer, and on Sep 10th I tried calling PC Insurance to find an answer to this critical question. After 40 minutes on the phone waiting for someone to pickup, I finally went onto their website contacted them through CHAT. And yes, the house we live in has had no insurance since the date they cancelled it for the other address. Someone called the next day and made me sign a "No Loss" letter which I did and still I haven't received confirmation that the house insurance is back on, let alone any apology or answer as to how this could have happened. Now I have to call them again and wait on the phone for anywhere between 30 minutes and over an hour before anyone picks up. Worst experience ever.
UPDATE - On Sep 16, 2024, we still had no response from PC Insurance and our house had been uninsured for almost 3 weeks. I decided to find insurance from someone else and called PC Insurance support to tell them not to bother re-instating our house insurance since we still had no idea when they would get back to us. I asked Richard, the representative I spoke with, to carry that message forward and to email me a summary of our conversation, since the phone call was recorded by them but I had no evidence about what was said. Richard said that he would. I also replied to the their representative Lisa (who had required the "No Loss" letter almost a week ago) and summarized my discussion with PC Insurance representative Richard where "we don’t want our house insurance policy 500363050 reinstated through PC Insurance and that we also don’t expect to incur any cancelation penalties since it was a PC Insurance mistake and not prompted through us."
No Surprise - I did not receive any email from Richard, as promised, summarizing our Sep 16th discussion. But Richard did call back two days later on Sep 18th saying that our house insurance was now reinstated. When I reminded him of our discussion on Sep 16th, he kept on asking me what date I would like it to be cancelled, including if I would like it to be cancelled back to the original cancellation date of Aug 28, 2024. I reminded him that we never made that cancellation and that our last direction was not to reinstate, and not to levy cancellation fees, since it was PC Insurance who had it cancelled by mistake in the first place. It felt like he was trying to get me to say that I want it cancelled so that the cancellation would fall on me, and not on PC Insurance.
In the meantime, we have arranged for house insurance through someone else, who actually picks up the phone within a few rings, instead of a 30 minute to over an hour wait. I have no idea what is happening with the PC Insurance reinstatement action and whether we will be penalized.
I was looking to get a quote but was put on hold for over four hours. I finally thought the wait was over, I then received a message that their phone line was experiencing technical difficulties (untrue) and asked me to call back. When I called back, the recording said their office was now closed. Instead of helping a customer who waited over four hours they abruptly disconnected their phones and even disguised that their phone lines were down. Terrible service!!!
Terrible. Rates are not great. Agents aren't knowledgeable. Customer service is non-existent. Yes, you can get Optimum points, but does not make up for the hassle of dealing with them.
