Replacement wheel exceeded my expectations
Needed a new wheel after accident damaged the front wheel on my Avaris . New wheel supplied with disc rotor, taped and new tyre ready to go at very competitive price . All correspondence what handled efficiently and courteously . A great bike ready to go again . Thanks .

Recovered experience
Update on my experience… start was challenging, I had a price match was taking a while you get approved. Rex did a great job with communication, keeping me informed with updates, once approved Rex did his best to chase delivery which was kept with in there promise of 3-7 days! Love my bike, slightly concerted about a noise which don’t sound right so Rex on the follow up call asked me to send me a video so he can help. Also Rex kindly going to get back to me confirming the warranty on the bike. In all the experience was good! I would recommend using pedal and chain! Thanks again

Fantastic, trusted company
Great communication between customer service and myself, freindly, honest and very helpful, quickly resolved an issue with the third party Courier Company and my Hygge Step through arrived in a timely fashion.
I haven't tried out my new bike yet, so I will review the actual bike after my first ride. The bike itself is very well made and looks stylish, I love the fact that rear and tail lights are integrated.

I had high hopes. They were dashed.
I had high hopes, reading all the positive reviews.
Unfortunately my experience was not great.
I decided to contact the company ahead of my purchase as it stated only one was available and I really wanted to avoid issues. I was emailed back from "Rex", he price matched for me which was amazing and confirmed he had one and it was in stock, advising to buy asap to avoid disappointment.
So I did. Arranged finance, all went through.
Then I waited and waited for a confirmation that my ebike was being shipped. Nothing, Nada. So, I got in touch. "Mich" got back to me, apologies were made saying the bike was not in fact available. I was gutted, as I have a charity ride I wanted this for, the reason I bought was mainly the range the bike had, and I had done extensive research.
I was then offered an alternative bike by Mich in customer support, I assumed price matched, but this was not the case, I was expected to pay the difference of some £400 which I thought was cheeky as it was not like for like.
I had ordered a hybrid, was offered an MTB which I didn't want or need... and I would also have to reapply for finance, cancelling the first one. So .. 2 hard credit checks on my record. I will say however Mich was very helpful in trying to resolve my questions on hybrid tyres for the alternative bike, but in the end, it was just not viable.
As a result and many emails, I am really disappointed in the whole experience.
I am an avid cyclist, always looking to support small business but in this case I took my business elsewhere and now have an excellent ebike.
I cannot say I will be back nor be recommending to my friends.

I’d have to advise against buying…
I’d have to advise against buying anything of this company
I ordered a skateboard off them
It turned up in a box saying it was a 400w motor
The almost useless manual said it was 2 x 350 w
The site said it was 2x550 w
The board works fine if the surface is smooth and level otherwise it’s useless
I use it as my mobility scooter or would if it worked
To resolve the situation they offered me 45 quid off a scooter !!!
409 quid on a board ther won’t work on roads or paths is ridiculous
I left a good review and 5 star’s originally but need to remove that

Dealing one single person, Rex, over the duration of queries, ordering, shipping and delivery was very smooth. Initially sceptical, what a fantastic retailer.
Bought my First e-bike and was a bit warey of online retailers who I had never heard of. From ordering the bike to dispatch, pedal and chain were first class. Helpful,efficient, polite and knowledgeable. From order to delivery was 2 days which is fantastic as I have just got rid of my car. I would definitely recommend this company if you are after a new bike, personally wouldn’t go anywhere else if I was to order another. Rex in the customer service department was a pure gentleman, extremely helpful. I had notifications throughout the process which was extremely helpful. 10/10

they take the money and don't care if you get the bike
I purchased an electric cargo bike (Amcargobike deluxe, electric, £2,119) in July, it was promised to take 10 working days as it was being ordered from Amcargobike which is in Denmark. I was notified by delivering company and Pedal&Chain it would be delivered within a week on a specific day. It never came, I then proceeded for over 2 weeks to try and have it redelivered. It was an absolute disaster. Pedal&Chain just stopped responding to my emails and calls. I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager who I was told was the owner, at this point the customer service representatives (Mich) just stopped responding to me. I ended up having to call Amcargo directly in Denmark a number of times. It was all very frustrating and honestly defeated the purpose of going through a UK based company. No one from Pedal and Chain ever got in touch to find out if the bike had been found and delivered. They honestly just took the money and didn't care about the rest. It was insulting and equally shocking that they didn't take ownership for the product they technically sold to me. To an extent the problem was with the delivery company as they did not actually send the bike, however Pedal & Chain as a company remain responsible to ensure the product they took money for was delivered and to just ghost me was shocking level of customer service! I would very much discourage using this company in the future.

Legend Monza
I bought a Legend Monza, and there was an issue with the folding mechanism. To be fair, they replaced it. The bike is less than 4 months old, and it needs a part on the bottom bracket repaired. I have taken the bike to my local shop, and they are getting the part for £60. Contacted P&C, and they did say they could send out a part, but it is now at the bike shop and I would have to pay to have it fitted. They have offered me £35 if I spend £500 online. That is frankly an insult when two bikes have been faulty. Had they offered me the £35, I would have thought it fair enough for all the hassle I have had. Left a rather sour taste in my mouth and for that, I would not recommend. UPDATE - they have been in touch this morning to say I can have the £35 refund, regardless. That has restored my faith somewhat.

I ordered my impala bike on a Saturday…
I ordered my impala bike on a Saturday it arrived on Tuesday. All I can say is if your going to consider buying this bike do not hesitate. I purchased a rad 5 bike which I had to return due to damage. All I can say is I’m so glad that I did. Im 60 years old female. I had a bad accident with my knee and thought I would not be able to ride again. Today I was able to step thru with ease and I’m so happy that I can ride this bike with ease

Emovement bike I bought is fantastic…
Emovement bike I bought is fantastic there is a few niggles but that's not pedal and chain's fault they were fantastic, Emovement charger that comes with the panther v4 bike was going really very hot when charging and I wouldn't feel safe leaving it charging the bike and going out ,so I ended up buying a more expensive charger that just goes warm when charging, and the Emovement bike light that comes with the bike is anouying the strap that holds it to the bike is not good ,the light moves about when going over bumps. The bike came quickly through pedal and chain and they were very helpful.
